Posted Image K-Pop Artists to Receive Funds to Export Music 2005-04-21 The Korea Culture & Contents Agency (KOCCA) has selected pop music artists to help them export their music. They include singers Shin Seung-hoon and Wheesung and rock band N.EX.T. They will receive a government fund of 30 million won to use for the production of their music video or album. Given the popularity of Korean pop music in Asian countries, KOCCA decided to sponsor musicians to introduce their music to neighboring countries, an official from the organization said. #AMR# //Seoul comment: Please note that KOCCA also sponsors in part my Korean language class! |
