(No Photo Available) International Youth Song Contest to be held in Gwangju in December 2005-03-28 An annual international contest for young pop musicians will be held in Gwangju starting this year. The Gwanjgu City government announced on March 28th that it will hold the first Gwangju International Youth Song Festival on December 25th this year at Gwangju Exhibition and Convention Center. In the contest that will he held under the theme of “Gwangju, the cultural center of Asia, the Mecca of the next generation,” local and overseas contestants from the age of 9 to 24 can participate. For local contestants, preliminary contests will be held around in June in the 5 major cities, Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon and Gwangju. From June to November, the preliminaries for overseas contestants will be held in Los Angeles, Beijing, Shanghai and Tokyo.#AMR# //Seoul |
