I mean, you may have in your head that this person is just one of the many you'll date, but what if that person leads to marriage in the long run? Dating gives you a non-committal meeting, yet being alone with them, to sort of "Test Drive" them, to see if they're worth considering. I mean, just because you ~~probably aren't~~ intend to get married doesn't mean you should stop going out and having fun, right? Anyway, you can never be 100% until you're both dead and burried after many, many years of marriage. Even if you get to saying ~~the vows of death~~ your I do's, divorce rates are increadibly high. shrugs Just my ~~common~~ two cents.

Or you date to find the one who can be great boyfriend/girlfriend material AND if you're into getting married to see if they can possibly THAT one special person.
