OK Guys, here's how the story goes. Apparently CBS and their lead news dude, Dan Rather, made up a rather large, ummmm, story on the TV show "60 Minutes". Apparently people in the Blogosphere (a "Blog" is a WeB-LOG) Brought out the reasons that the story was untrue. (Basically the "old" media, is about dead, and the "New" media, in well on the rise.) Well, the Old Media people made a big deal of "Bloggers" sitting in their living rooms, and wearing Pajamas. Anyway, Michelle Malkin has this on her web site, today (credits to her) The bloggers at SgtStryker.com (now known as "The Daily Brief") have launched a new charity. They're asking you to send your old pajamas to Dan Rather: In order to offer an olive branch to show that we wish to assist in bringing CBS into the 21st century, I propose that we unite the blogging community and kick start a “Jammies for Danny” campaign. Through this act of charity on our part, perhaps those at CBS can realize how the pulse of truth and objectivity magically eminates from the molecular interaction between the atoms in a pair of pajamas and a computer keyboard. Let us help CBS to restore ther dignity and reputation by extending an invitation to join the PJ Brigade by donating a pair of pajamas to those less fortunate than us. Here is the address: Jammies For Danny, c/o CBS Television Network 51 West 52nd Street, New York, NY 10019 #AMR# //Seoul comments: So if you can help a (hopefully) soon to be unemployed Dan Rather, send your old jammies to the address above. Thanks!! |

Well, he didn't really say he was sorry. I think we'll see him a goner, a lot sooner than 2006. C-BS's news ratings have been in the tank for a decade. IN your favorite NYC, his news program was being beaten by reruns of Grace and Whomever, and the Simpsons. Of all the channels that Nielson rates, C-BS in NYC was dead last. As to the Jammies remark, he scoffs at the "Pajamma" set, (as the Bloggers are known). But they really caught him at "MAKING UP" news stories. Michelle is the "cute asian", but she's also really talented. (Her parents are from the Philippines, but she was born in (cough) Phillidelphia.) Excellent writer. So, if you've got some Jammies, send them to him. //Seoul Evil, and a proud member of the PJ Brigade! |
