Back in Action. :) Posts: 1,171 Group: Advanced Members Member #594 Joined: October 18, 2003	YAYAYA!!! I'm so happy, and I just couldn't wait to tell everyone...... Ever since I've started reading mangas and manhwas, I've always, ALWAYS wanted to make one and get it published. Only recently have I acted upon that dream. With a lot of research, I discovered a woman within Tokyopop Manga Publishers, the largest manga publishing company in the world, and I emailed her. I told her I was a determined fourteen-year-old, ready to follow a dream! Just Friday night, (the seventeenth) I received word from her - she gave me tons and tons of information on how I can get Tokyopop to review my work! I was so excited to receive her email. Well, before I had even emailed her, though, I had thought that I would use one of the stories I've written before to turn into a manhwa, but now that my dream seems so much closer, I think I want to make up a new story. I need to create my own style, too. I really, really want to do this, and it seems so close, it feels as though I could just reach out and grab it! So that's what I'm gonna do. Imma reach the stars! Now, I know I've never shown my work online (because I don't have a scanner), but Angelo has seen it! I think I'm okay.....I just need to work and create my own style!!! Then I'm set! I just had to share this good news with all my friends. Can't wait!!! Tell me what you guys think, please?!? And tips are ALWAYS appreciated!!! If Tokyopop doesn't like one set of work from me, I'll keep sending them peices until they agree on one!!! Imma do this! :cheerleader: :yayaya:

I was going to do the same thing (with Antartic Press), but I couldn't get a hold of the proper materials... (Didn't have the right paper, no inking pens, etc...) I don't even really have a place to draw other than my lap. XD Oh! The floor, too! XD I really hope you do well! You'll have to tell us when you get published so we can go buy buy buy~!!! ^-^ excited

Angel Oppa, thanks for believing in me, it means so much! Edwin Oppa, I will surely make them sexy!! But the only way to do that is to think of YOU!! Hahaha! Michyu, I would LOVE to meet Shinhwa, haha!!! But no, if that were true, I would have died of shock, so you guys wouldn't be hearing from me......hehehe! Seoul Oppa, thanks, too!!! I will definitely try my best, and no backing down!!! And Arnell Oppa, anytime!!! Haha! If there's anyone to get you motivated to try and publish your stuff, it's me!!! ^-^* I'm a motivating coach! Haha! Thanks so much, everyone! But there's still the problem of what story I am going to use....I have tons of plots running in my head every second, and I have a million stories I've already written to choose from, but I just don't know which is best!! Not to mention, I'm just getting started on developing my own style of drawing.....it's hard! You don't want to be like everyone else, and yet, you want it to be good enough......plus, I think anime all looks the same to me >_< Hehe.....but don't worry, I'll get there, thanks to a ton of encouragement from you guys!!!! XD (So says the girl that learned to draw from anime... XP) Anyway, I reeeeeeeeeeally hope you get published! It would be so cool to go to the manga section and say, "Hey! I know the chick that did this! She's awesome! Loves Hyesung, though... Tony's so much hotter..." XD Bleh... I wish I'd get my stuff together and do it, now. XD I have a plot...kinda... I'd rather consult with my friend and do a duel manga. She's always working, though... >___<;; ARGH!!! How dare you make me wanna do it, too! I wanna ink those next few pages on my H.O.T manga so bad, too... STUPID INKING PEN GETTING LOST!! Well, one thing keeps me from doing it! I don't have the talent... ;_; But you, on the other hand, had BEST get published, no matter what you think of yourself, understand?! Good. ^-^ And if Tokyo Pop decides to be stuck up, go to Antartic Press. ^-^

I could tell you if you wanted........but as far as the art goes and everything.....I just don't think I'm good enough yet. I mean, I can draw and everything, it's just that......I want to have a variety of body poses and views and landscapes and everything, right? Well, that's the problem......some of them are really hard to draw! Hehe.....I dunno.....plus, drawing guys is still hard for me, too! Haha.....but I think that's the least of my problems.......I dunno......I guess I was just feeling really downtrodden today......but, of course, reading what you guys wrote has made me feel so much better! Haha! You guys have so much faith in me! Hehe.....well, thanks again, guys.....I'll decide what to do and let you guys know.....
