You're halfway thru your teens I'm glad I got to know you this year You're so much fun to play with You make me smile from ear to ear Your friendship is so special to me And I just can't say enough You'll always have a friend in me Whenever times get rough Though we live different lives And are many years apart It seems that when we need each other We're connected at the heart Though are problems may be different We feel each other's pain Just know that you are never alone Thru sunshine or thru rain It's an HONOR to be your oppa my mushy dongseng, you'll always be I just hope that in the future You'll remember lil' ol' me. (And I want to have competition with Angel Oppa and Edwin Oppa!!! Haha! ^-^) We've come this far, Oh, how long it seems... But you're my leading star Bringing me to my dreams. I won't forget those lights, Gleaming in your eyes, Of past and future sights, Reflecting the Heavenly skies. And when I look behind me, To see our twists and turns, I'm always grateful for what I see; The lessons that one learns. And when I look ahead, I see nothing for us but glee. A life full of joys and pains Is good enough for me. So what to do now? What to grow up and do? I know I'll say, "Wow... I'm glad to be with you." I'll always be by your side No matter what comitted sin. When you've laughed, when you've cried, It's always "Through Thick and Thin." That's my poem! I hope you like, Unni!!! First, how did I get to write this poem? Well, I was talking with lady Danielle (we had lots of fun, I laughed my heart out) the other day and one of the things I talked to her about, was to dedicate her a poem. Now, even though I seem to do the occasional rhyming paragraph full of beautiful words describing her beauty, I’ve never written her a poem. So, I decided to write her one. (: The poem at first, was frustrating. Immediately when I felt like I should start writing it, I was only able to write the first verse, everything else I would write would either be too corny, unoriginal, ordinary, or crap. So, I decided to finish it the next day and I did with flying colors. I mean, the next day the words came naturally, as if I had the words written in a paper on my head and I would copy it. I even was about to go to sleep and each time I would choose to lie on my bed, a new beautiful verse would be thought of in my mind, I must’ve gotten up like 6 times till I finished the poem. Also, I had to be careful with my words, I mean, I would often express myself in ways that meant I love lady Danielle and even though I do as a friend, that’s not what I had in mind when wanting to do this for her. I decided to call the poem “Truthful Words” because lady Danielle sometimes has a hard time believing how beautiful she is, therefore I wanted to state that my words are completely truthful. (: Here it is: Poem called: Truthful Words (dedicate to lady Danielle) You have water-like eyes Like mirrors between the sea and the sky Beauty so high Yet so crystal clear How I wish you were near Mute I would be If you were to stand near me Cause you see If you I were to witness Your beauty would leave me speechless Even your weakest smile Lightens my heart all day through It just goes to show How much happiness emanates from you I would lie But it be so hard to believe That it would eventually come true The fact that you’re more beautiful Than I say you do Why should I waste my time Expressing my mind? Especially when it’s about you I’m sure you ask Yet, I could’ve never given myself A more wonderful task If we were to meet face to face Our meeting would be nothing short of grace But rather more on your part Since you could easily be The key to anyone’s heart I give you this so at least you’re able to say “A gentleman wrote this to me one day” And in the end, whomever you’ll hold I just hope I live long enough to see For I know, you aint gonna be as lucky As him shall be ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Well my Juliet, this day, how could i forget? Impaled from limb to arm i'd need to be, but my memory would never fail to remember thee. Death sure is, sure also is this, a day gone by without the thought of you, is an impossible task to remain on cue. So i give you what i have never given you...oh wait, i have, but you have never gotten this... Poem called: To My Juliet Life and all it’s wonder Could never compare to the love you plunder Parallel to beauty itself Yours unlike anyone else Moments so special Each worth no matter how small That a smile from you in the end Makes the experience to be wished again Your presence is always felt near It’s like your voice I hear Like the smell of a rose As if I held you close Constant smile on my face With just the thought of grace An image of you in my head With that alone I would forever lie in bed Many feelings felt throughout the day The next three could never be swept away Comfort, happiness, and joy Release from you for me to enjoy Sweet as a cherry Cute as a bunny Not to mention lovely as a painting can be You’re the happiness surrounding me I could never say you’re not For you are everything What man in the world Wouldn’t give you a ring? i'm so glad you like my poem, Danni! like i said, as long as it made you smile, i'm happy.
^_^ Jess and Edwin, your poems are extremely beautiful. you both are so gifted when it comes to poetry, and the written word. as for me, my poem took like a day, and was really hard to do. i just couldn't put my feelings into words as easily as you two do. and as i see, compared to yours, mines looks like a child did it. BUT...i did pour my heart into it....and giftwrapped it in love. aaawwww!!!! lol i'm just glad Danni liked it!!! (and Valerie too, hehe) ^_^ and cool graphic, lil bro! you KNOW she's gonna love that! hehe |

Angelo, your poem was beautiful. My favorite kind of poems are the simple ones and yours was. Because, these poems are so simple, yet so beautiful. My poems are more articulated, there's more focus in the use of words that express the relation between that person and nature and other stuff. But, to see yours being so simplistic, full of rhythm, and so to the point, my friend...that's poetry.
:) Donsang's poem was almost like Angelo, simple, lots of rhythm, and to the point. But, yours donsang had constant rhyme in each verse. Not an easy thing to do, so i commend you too. :) Lady Danni, my Juliet, you're welcome. This, is what i live for, making people smile. :) |

Because, you know, the package is just so BIG, we HAVE to mail it out through the post office.....^-^ Hehe....I know you're fuming mad right now, hehe. And thanks, Angel Oppa and Edwin Oppa, for your comments about my poem. But, you think that's all there is in me? No....I gots more! Muahaha! (By the way: Angelo, your poem wanted to make me cry! What are you talking about, me and Edwin better than you? I think there is no better....everyone here is just as good as the other....everyone is excellent. And Edwin, way to go on the poem. Such the romantic.) Here's my poem. I call it: Happy Birthday to You. Wow. Who would have ever thought we’d see this day? The day where you wake up, and all you can do is pray; Pray that our next four years in life will lead us through the gray. There’s no more playing in the sandbox or yard, And we can no longer perceive our knees once-scarred. Those days……when life was anything but hard…… So, whatever happened to when we used to hate boys? Never did we think we’d look at them now as toys…… Yet…things have changed so much, guys are all the noise. Still, there’s the time we would sleep over and make forts. Huge ones, never staying up, of all sizes and sorts…… But the fun doesn’t stop there, we’d have also played all kinds of sports…… The days ago were filled with so much joy, I’m amazed. Why can’t our lives be like that now? I am just dazed…… Life should be filled with just as much fun, exactly as when we were raised…… Especially now, when I can do nothing but cry myself to sleep at nights. That seems the only way to get weary; of missing the sights And missing not ever wanting to turn out the lights…… Our younger selves are still in us, we just have to seek. When we find them, I promise, we’ll feel extremely weak; They’ll seem to have so much more power in their speak. What do you think they’ll ask us? I wouldn’t want to know. I’d be inquired about how I came up to grow. How is it that I’ve changed so much over a time that’s been anything but slow? If I ever find her inside, my inner me, my child, I just hope and pray that she would have smiled A lot more than I do now, while my own grins are bitter and mild. Don’t disappoint yourself inside, only you can control: Will you be true and righteous, or just leave an empty hole? It’s up to you whether or not you’re right in your soul. This poem has been about a lot, and you can agree, too. But there’s only one thing that can be certainly said true. All I ever wanted to say at all is Happy Birthday to You. HUGS!!!!! Thanks sooo much, guys!!!! I really did put a lot into that.....I mean, who among us doesn't wish he/she was still that cute little 10-year-old? Haha.... And Edwin, you said, "That kind of poetry, I have yet to reach"?!?!? What the heck? Edwin...you are THE POET of KMR. No one else. Not-uh. I may come somewhat into an area that might remotely be considered close, but no one is better than the romantic citings of you. And Angel Oppa, no problem! We weren't lying when we commented on your poem. Yours was filled with so much love and heartfelt joy, my PC had a pink aura!!! Hahaha!!! Now that is poetry.....and I believe everyone here has wonderful talent (and I'm not just talking to Angel Oppa and Edwin Oppa. ^-^ Yes, you other KMR'ers!! You too!!! Haha!).
