Back in Action. :) Posts: 1,171 Group: Advanced Members Member #594 Joined: October 18, 2003	Hey, uh, guys? Okay, listen up. My parents said that if I get straight A's this year (which I most certainly will! This is High School we're talking about! It's do or die!!!!), then next year they'll send me to Europe (most likely London) as a foreign exchange student. I think that is sooo awesome! I mean, experiencing a different culture is just great in itself! Heck, I have a blast whenever I'm just at Unni's house! Haha! I just wanted to know what y'all thought and if y'all had any tips or whatnot.....man.....can't wait till next year......it seems so far away! :cry: But I WILL get straight A's this year!

I remember freshmen year I was gonna go to japan..then 9/11 happened and they delayed it..till Im gone..out of high school..so that was my chance.. ohh well hopefully you will be able to..

(i don't think you would be that type of person, but it's always good to keep in mind..) don't get depressed if things aren't working too well... and always ask a teacher or someone when you are having problems... xD man, i really should take my own advice sometime.... goOd luck! :D -Jiyung

So lucky that your parents can afford to do that for you ^^ yeah, unless you're really fluent at another language, you should probably go to the UK. But if you get a chance, you should stop by Germany... ahh... I miss it so much... my home... TT_TT ANYWAY. Good luck with the straight A's! Freshman year is really easy, so I'm sure you'll do it!

Point: It's easier than you think. XP I nearly slept through most of those classes. The others, I took time to write notes, read manga, and doodle on my notes, "I love Kang Ta! I love Tony!" XD This, in no way, is to encourage you to do the same. XD Work for the gold~! If you need help with any classes, you could always IM me and go, "KIIIIM!!! HELP ME!!!!!!!!!" XD

All your support and love made me want to cry!!! :cry: Honest!!! :opps: But there's news...... Listen. I was talking to my dad one night when we were watching the X-Men movie, and it was a commercial, so I decided to ask him something. "Apa," I said (yes, I really do call him that, hehe), "what do you think about me being a foreign exchange student?" Well, I expected him, being a father, to be against it because his pookie would be gone for so long! But, he surprised me and said, "I actually think you should go sooner." I was like, O_O!!!!! No, wait, that's me all the time.....I was like ()_() Hehe....yeah, that's more like it! ^-^ And so, I told him, "Well, I turn fifteen by the beginning of next semester, so I could possibly get into this year!!!" He was all for it. I couldn't believe it! So I MIGHT be going THIS YEAR!!! That is, if I get straight A's this semester.....I just hope I did good on my Geometry test today!!! GAAH! I DON'T KNOW ALL THE WAYS TO NAME A POINT ON A LINE!! GAAH! So, that's not the only news. I've decided that the UK isn't enough of a cultural dip for me....I wanted to go deeper. And, since I'm taking French, why not go to Paris!??! So, I talked to my French teacher, (and I've always been her best student, I'm just so into learning the language, you know?) and she gave me ways to learn French outside of school through our textbooks and websites. So now, through my free time at home, I'm continuing my French education, and I've seen people learn English within a few months, and English is THE HARDEST language to learn, so if I put my time and effort into this, I think I can learn enough French to go to Paris this spring! I will certianly have to try my best!!! Thanks soooooo much again for your support guys!! You really inspired me to do this! Honest! I've been having some doubts lately, but now I know for sure that I should take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! I'll keep you updated, okay? Thanks a lot!! Love y'all!!!
