good question, norcal! i was wondering about this too.

i recently got Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and Adobe ImageReady 7.0.

it'd be real helpful if someone can post some tutorials, tips, places to download brush and background stuff...stuff like that.
and also any links to sites or forums that have these tutorials and stuff. THANKS!

(i also got Macromedia Flash MX, but i wont even start on THAT til i get a hang of the photoshop) ^_^

HA! Photoshop isnt too hard to learn..
I've worked with both 7.0 and 8.0 Both are very similar..
OK.. the funnest thing that you'll Probably do in photoshop is like Rendering and copy and "clone". Go to "WINDOW" and view "OPEN" the TOOLS box.. there it will have all the basic tools you need. And play around with them. Well, there's A LOT of things you need to know like the Shift key and Cntrl keys.. so thats that.. too much to list.. like i said.. JUST PLAY around with photoshop.. you'll know what to do when you learn the things.. that's wat I did.. oh and it's good to have a person who is experienced with photoshop to teach you, because the book can be too boring and confusing...

cntrl key is for when you wanna "clone" the image. It's usually used with that "stamp" looking icon in the tool box.

Yeah. I totally agree. I'm looking to learn 7.0 as well. I will, if time permits, go on another reon mission, and see if I can dig up some place that will teach us.

One might guess, that you would start with a car.... Maybe a camera would be helpful...

OH GAWD!!
When you think about it, if Angelo learns how to make .GIF movies, we will have an endless supply of him sitting next to Hyori, and her saying, (probably in broken Spanish) "Oh Angelo, you were the best"..... The world in no longer a safe place... This is going to be so awful.....

Ignoring all that... I've run across a lot of bogus places, that promise to teach Photoshop for free. Please do beware!!! Apparently this software is very popular, and very powerful!!
