Korean Top Singers Participated in Chinese Music Show 2004/08/23 Korean pop idols, such as BoA, Kangta and Dong-bang-shin-ki, highlighted the outdoor stage of one of the biggest Chinese music festivals. The Korean pop stars took part in the Shanghai event hosted by Chinese music channel, Channel V, on August 20-21. Some 20 teams from Asian countries, including Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea, turned the largest outdoor music show in China into a cauldron of excitement and joy. Participants included Hong Kong’s top rock group, Beyond, and Chinese hip-hop band, CMCB. Some 20,000 audiences erupted into cheers as Korean male singer Kangta sang his hit song ‘Pine Tree’ in the Chinese language. BoA’s ‘No.1’ and ‘Valenti’, and Dong-bang-shin-ki’s ‘The Way U Are’ also greatly appealed to Chinese music #AMR# //Seoul |
