Edwinster has been messing around with this one for three months, and still "isn't to first base". So my theory is minimize your losses. Look at the math, she hasn't given Edwin the slightest sign of hope. While hope is a lovely thing, it only goes so far. This is, IIRC, Edwin's first relationship. So he hasn't seen the signs of one that "might" work and doesn't know when he's gotten a rotten apple. My experience is that you usually know in a couple of days if there's hope or not. But three months: No. Time to set your sights on another one, Edwin. If she suddenly comes to her senses, then you win, but don't bet the farm. //Seoul

Us having such experiences (good or bad) can ease the pain, cushion the blow, and give a persepective from all angles. We want the guy to be happy, but we don't want him to be completely crushed either. I'm all for encouraging my friends with stuff like this, but I won't let them not see the bad side incase it ever comes up. I'd rather they be aware of what may happen and be somewhat ready to deal with it instead of them losing themselves and not knowing what to do. Love is blind, but even with sight, it's not any easier.

Since in this situation, it be awkward for anyone to just just thank a person who gave you a poem, it might take more time. Then again, she's just not interested in me. Therefore, being that this situation is one of the most rarest ever given, the rules of what usually consists the start or the fall of a relationship, might not apply here. Now, given the situation, I was spooked.....three years, this dude flirted with me, and I had no freaking clue!! I was a wreck. But, that's not the point.....the point is, I had no idea what soever that for those three years, that guy was showing his interest. Only when he told me did I know. So, now that Edwin's made his move, y'all can forget those three months, because only now have things gotten started! You see???? So, now it might have been two weeks since Edwin gave that poem to Jessica, and we just have to wait and see what comes of it. Perhaps for the past two weeks, she hasn't come in, but I say wait and let God do His Work! Have Faith!!! (Teehee!!!)

In this particular case, I would put a little logic ahead of my emotions, (and hormones, for that matter). She was returning the movies she had rented. She saw me and waved. At first i didn't realize who she was but i waved anyway. Then i realize it was Jessica and smiled. But, she was gone. I tried to look in what car she got on and who was driving but since it was raining, i didn't get a good look at the driver. Maybe it was Faith, who knows. So, yeah, this is all. The thing is, couldn't Jessica at least send a message (if Faith doesn't want to see me) from her friend saying "Thank you, it was a lovely poem"? But i guess since it was a drop off, it's understandable somewhat... :( Just when i am over Faith, this happens...

Some girls like that, when a guy goes the extra mile for them. And, you're saying "toss her", but, what if i get another chance? What if by listening to you i loose the chance that will get me to talk to her and starting a relationship? I mean, right now, there's no one in my life and i don't see anyone happening anytime soon. Therefore, still leaning on Faith isn't hurting anyone...well i weight 250 pounds...that's a lot of hurting. lol Anyway, what i mean is, sometimes just one risk doesn't cut it and i'm still not loosing anything by pursuing her. :) Another update: It seems Faith did enter the doors of Blockbuster! But, she did on the 14th of this month! Bad thing was i was off that day. I didn't know she came until today! The thing is that, now i am nervous! Cause i thought she was shy and didn't want to see me to the point where she would never enter BB...but, it seems that's not the case which means she could enter at any moment. Now i am nervous! heh :)
