How an unkwon Asian girl came to be Jocelyn: "Hey, even i need advice lol" <- How it all came to be Here’s what happened: It was about 5:30 pm today (08/20/04) when I saw someone. Again, I was the Active seller (guy in red promoting stuff). I see this girl, but it wasn’t till I got a closer look that I realize who she was. Well, it was Jocelyn’s friend, Jessica. She was alone. Since I had sort of given up on Jocelyn, I wasn’t expecting either of the two to show up. Therefore, seeing Jessica totally caught me by surprise so I just said to her “Um, hello, is there anything I can do for you?”, Jessica said “No, I’m just looking” and I then said “Oh, well, if you need anything just let me know” and I smiled and she nodded and smiled. Okay, guys, that’s it…NOT! Lol I couldn’t just walk away empty handed you know! Therefore, I was juggling between do I do it or I don’t. But, then I said, I’M GONNA DO THIS! (inspired by Arnell’s story, HeeJin’s line “I‘M GETTING MARRIED TODAY!”) lol So, I approached her again (believe me, it took a lot of courage) and said: Me: I don’t want you to think this is awkward or anything, but I just wanted to tell you that I think you’re friend is absolutely beautiful. Jessica: smiles Me: Here’s a poem I wrote to her: Often times you look so lovely Near you i wish i be closely For i never wish you be lonely Though wish happiness rains on you forever only This might drive you away But, at least i got to say How beautiful you are anyway To the lady who's eyes reflect her beauty... From: Edwin I gave her the poem on a piece of paper I had written like 4 months ago. Jessica: Okay, I’ll give it to her. But, I don’t want you to get your hopes up, she’s very picky when it comes to the guys she dates. Me: It doesn’t matter, I just want her to know this. I mean, I rather give her this and not see her again than to see her a million times and not give her this. And, if you don’t mind me telling…what’s her name? Jessica: Faith. Maybe is Fayth, Fei, or Fey. But I’m pretty sure I heard “Faith”. Me: Lovely name. Well, um, this is it. Like I said, if there’s anything you need I’m at your service. Jessica: Sure, and I’ll give her this. I then smile and walked away. BUT! I didn’t introduce myself! So, I went back: Me: Where are my manners, I didn’t introduce myself. The name’s Edwin, nice to meet you. (: Jessica: I’m Jessica, nice to meet you, Edwin. we shook hands She told me that the reason why they had been absent was because they had gone back to the states (throughout all summer). She also told me that her and Faith teach classes at a church. Now, she told me that she was teaching one here in Puerto Rico, she tried giving me the address, but, it was hard for her to get into details. I didn’t even understood her well. All I know is that I get the impression Faith isn’t here in Puerto Rico, but if that’s the case, how is she going to give her the poem? Through e-mail maybe. heh Well, that’s truly it, you guys. All I gotta do now is wait, have hope and faith…literately! lol (: Oh Faith, my Faith, today I was given your name Just like a celebrity, it shouted fame So long I waited For your name to be stated Finally, joyful tears reign P.S. Our hero, Edwin, is just that much closer to finally bagging a live one... I predict that in the near future, rather than posting surupy poems, he will be putting up MP3 files, of himself, belching out old Dean Martin romantic songs (albeit waaaay out of key). But , at least, for the time being, all is happy in the Realm... That's a wrap! //Seoul

So, next time i see either of the two i'll ask them kindly if they could write that name for me on a piece of paper, so that i can later ask around to find the place. Currently, my feelings are that, at least i did it. Now it's up to Faith or fate to make it happen. If desitny wants us together, great, if not, it's not because i never did anything. I would be just happy with Faith returning her love by saying "Thank you, that was very sweet of you". Reason why i did this, is because nowadays you don't see that. You don't see a nice guy just out of the blue telling a girl how beautiful she is. You see that in movies where the handsome (yeah, me lol) guy expresses his love for the girl, so i wanted that to be part of this world. I mean, often times this world can be an unhappy place to live in and by doing something like that, at least i make this world a little more bearable. Faith deserved hearing those beautiful words, then again, she's beauty herself, but it doesn't hurt to hear them at least once. It's weird, though, i mean, out of all the girls in the world, i choose Faith...ironic or perhaps a coincidence? (heh). Also, what if her name is Fate? It was fate for me choose Fate? With a name like that it's like being called Jesus and not doing anything or being grand (heh). The thing is that if i got to meet her and asked her "What music do you listen to?", if she answers "Gospel"...i'm so screwed (lol). But, if she answers Korean (by the way, she looks Korean), then i'm in business and that would be awesome! Because if she's not gonna be my girlfriend, at least i'll have a friend i can talk about K-Pop in Puerto Rico! And, if she's Korean, i'll say "This is Jessica Unni, can i be your oppa so that you're my donseng? (lol). Being that the two of them i assume are somewhat religious, i'm sure i'm gonna pay this one day (lol). I mean, i'm not a very religious person (y'all know), i just believe in God. So, to pretend i like visiting churches and that i'm one with the lord to get a girl...God's probably going "Yo, man, that aint right. Using me to get a girl, that's low playa." (lol). I mean, guys, out of all things we have to do to get a girl, i think mine is just the epitome of lowest. lol kidding :) One last thing, yesterday (08/22/04), the movies that Jessica rented on Friday, they were supposed to bring them in yesterday. Well, i worked from 5 - 10 pm and i was nervous, being that they could've entered at any time. I be having heart attacks about every 5 seconds a client would enter (lol). But, unfortunately, they dropped the movies and didn't come. :( Then again, it might happen on Friday. :) P.S. The day Faith's friend, Jessica, came, i wore gel! Which means, i broke the curse! Finally! Then again, it was just Jessica...so Faith hasn't seen me with gel. lol
