I was just wondering about the Korean people. Like, how do they accept/treat Americans? I mean, if I were to go wandering up into some parts of the Middle East, I'd be bait. x_x My dad keeps telling me that they won't accept me, and if I go over there, I'd better cling to Ji Hae, or some bike gang will beat me to death. x_x He was in Korea 20 years ago as a G.I. Ji Hae says that won't happen, 'cause no one approached her. Dad says that's because she looks Korean. I, however, am definitely white... So, any advice here? (And, btw, I AM trying my best to learn the language so that I can at least talk to the store people and buy things.) |
![]() You can be so open minded that your brain falls out. 'Cause my Jesus would never be accepted in my church. The blood and dirt on his feet might stain the carpet. Finally, someone tells the truth. Banner credits to Kimmy37. | |

theyLL treat you fine. loL. i shopped for days at the most busiest shopping places, and i saw plenty of American people. The only annoying thing they will do is speak fragments of broken english to you. loL, only the bravest will come up to you and ask you anything, and if they do, its prolly to learn how to say something in English. loL. i got approached.. but im bilingual.. the only reason i got approached was to get.. hit on? ehh whatever, youLL be fine ^0^ korea *rocks* youLL love it.. and foreal, ... when you get to Korea, you better have LOADS of cash with you.. cuz there is madd pretty stuff here.. youLL end up spending half ur lifes fortune at the bloody airport.. >_> i spent hundreds here.. and i only stayed a little over a month... oops? loL.. all on clothes and accesories and.. foood? loL have a great time! |

Kim, I've been there, and I'm "plain white bread". They were very nice. You will find it to be a very polite, quiet society. //Seoul |
