My vote: "Two Thumbs DOWN". Every video is depressing. Lots of gore, Every video looks like "A Cup Of Soju". (Soju is a very potent alcoholic drink, from S. Korea) Lots of violence. Everybody's life is screwed up. Everybody has emotional problems. Everybody's involved in gangs. I can understand why the censorers in Korea are giving her a bad time. Tech notes: Audio and Video are stunningly good, EXCEPT on one cut, which is from her 5th album. There is a herringbone in the video. Looks like an over driven amp, but I suspect the vid was made in China, and standards-converted by a lesser clued engineer. I got it at YesAsia, (AFTER PRESSING THE KEY FROM KMR!!) Don't buy this one. //Seoul |

I just arrived yesterday, BVF (dats, BabyVox Filippino)!! NO Angelo, NOT all, nor even most Ballads are that depressing/violent/gory. Some are sad, certainly, but not to this extent. KMC made the comment that her "...Snow Blues" video wasn't allowed on TV over there. I'm wondering if we got the entire thing? It is better than her others, and at the time, i couldn't see why they censored it. Maybe something was cut on the copy sent over here. Anyway, it still gets a "Yick" rating in my book. BTW, why are you depressed, CBeyond? You are young, healthy, have a good job. All we have to do is straighten out your love life, and my offer is still open. I don't have anyone in mind at this exact time, but I can with very short notice... //Seoul |

I just noticed that the dvd is all region. I love how more Korean dvds are coming this way and not region specific. If you don't like the dvd that much, I'll be happy to accept it from you, haha. I just got my copy of Moon HeeJun Best "A Soaring For Dream" yesterday. Man, yesasia must love me or something. They sent me a free gift. It's some Korean noodles, ChaJang Myun. I'm very iffy on eating it though because I always question food being sent by mail. This is the second time I got something free from them. The first time they gave me a yesasia shirt. Guess being a customer of 2-3 years has some perks. |

Well, her videos are very interesting, and, indeed some are odd. From a technical standpoint they are well beyond excellent. As far as the "All areas" DVD, that is just something I cannot understand. If you pay for the DVD, WHO CARES where you look at it??? VCDs (common in Asia) can be seen on PCs in all areas. They can also be recorded with a regular CD burner, onto regular CDs. //Seoul |

Okee, here are my questions. I’m confused as to the storyline for the Lee Soo Young’s Music Drama featuring Whistle, and Andante, recently played on KMC this week: 1) Opening part had some car accident or something? What happened? 2) So we have two guys and two gals; they’re all buddies. What’s the relationship going on? Do the two guys like the same girl, or are they paired up, and like the other person’s significant other? 3) What is the guy yelling at the end of the first video? 4) Is one of the girls (the one who wiped out while snowboarding and was scolded) hard of hearing, or just likes to listen to her mp3 player a lot? 5) The second video (Andante) didn’t progress the story much except for the guy’s feelings for the girl. Lee Soo Young gets to sing in the video. That's it? No part 3? |
