You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Chris had been very busy this day....first he had gone up on the morning, eaten his breakfast, been questioned by Fara´re where he was going to go today, and with a remined to not go to the marsh or the spiderhount forest. He promies to not go there and said that he was going to go down to the lake. After this the boy had been watching a small family of rabbits in there nest on the way to the lake....he had been there for around an hour in a bush just looking at them. They where so cute and he wanted one to hug. Then they must have heard him because all the rabbits quickly dissappeared into the holes....so he had to find something else to do. He then began to climb the trees and tried to jump between them....it had been very close that he had fallen but he did not....yay and score for him! He thought about taking a bath and swim around in the lake for a while....maybe he could even make Fara´re proud and catch the dinner for them? Yea that would make her happy, she had done so much for him so it was the least he could do, maybe she even would let him leave the forest? But just as he was about to take off his clothes he noticed a scen in the air and stopped...he smelled it and made a weird face. He did not like that smell...but he got a feeling of something else to. The teen quickly ran to one of the trees and climeb up so that he could see things better. Then he searched around with his eyes to see if he could find anything. |

Delki stirred awake and groaned as he looked up to the sky. His neck was sore and in his daze he couldn’t quite remember why. Lifting a hand up he felt a cored tied tightly around his neck. Its tightness served two purposes: He could not get it off very easily, nor could he exert himself for very long due to the reduced airflow. The rope in particular was then tied equally tightly to a weight that was far too heavy for someone of his stature to shift. He was all that remained of the bandit’s ‘merchandise’ for everything else had sold quite well. Apparently he couldn’t hold a candle to the vibrant displays found on the wings of other fae. Nobody wanted the white haired soul that was tied so tightly to the stand. The bandit was situated behind him sorting through his gold rather happily. The foul smelling fiend would probably go off hunting for more things to sell to anyone who happened to walk through this road in the woods. It probably wasn’t the best idea to go out of his way to pester the bandit in the first place Delki figured, but he wasn’t fond of his particular enterprise. The fellow took pride in the fact that he managed to free upwards ten trapped fae before his eventual capture, and subsequent abuse at the hands of the bandit. Delki wiped the dirt from around his eyes and grimaced as he remembered where it came from. Being pinned against a muddy patch of dirt by a glass was not fun in the slightest. He had worked to free himself the whole time, and should have been out in five more minutes he had figured. Incidentally, the bandit got whiff of another escape attempt and left him in his current predicament. Hopefully someone would come by and buy him from the bandit, preferably someone easier to escape from. |

Chris did not have to look for very long before he noticed a man not all to far away, or it looked like a man. Why would anyone be at a place like this? The weretiger desided to look into the matter further and slowly he climbed down from the tree and began to make his way towards the area where he saw the person. Chris stopped as he arrived to a large bush where he could watch things better, he could see the man now....he was some kind of merchant alright, that was easy to see from the way he was dressed and from the fact that he was standing at a stand. A shiver went up the boys spine and he took a deep breath, he was just about to leave when his eyes noticed something else on the merchants stand. At first he could not see what it was, it looked like a very small person tired to a ball of iron? Chris just looked at him for a while without a a words and then he suddenly became very angry. He glanced around too see if there was any other people close. But he could not see anyone of interest. Chris took another deep breath and then he slowly picked out his potal gem from inside of his clothes. He could run and save the little guy by force....but no that would be wrong...he was going to do this another way. The boy placed the gem inside of his clothes once again and then he walked around the area so that he would arrive from front of the merchant. He made sure to walk in a calm way and stopped as he came to the stand. His eyes glanced at the things that was for sale and stopped a few times on the little chained boy. Chris felt so sorry for him. "Mister, what are you taking for that little guy with the white hair?" he asked the man as he pointed a little at Delki. |

The Bandit-Merchant watched the boy emerge from the bush with wary eyes. He couldn’t give the kid trouble, for he knew quite well who it was. Any bandit worth his salt that operated in Norwood knew the kid. There was no good to come from it either, for that fierce weretiger was always keeping tabs on him. The man leaned forward putting on his best salesman face, “And how may I help you, boy?” he smiled pleasantly enough, though a difficult feat due to some of his missing teeth. Delki also had been paying attention to this interesting boy as he came forward. He had grown used to visitors and could frequently tag their motives well enough. He had locked eyes as well as he could with the visitor a few times whenever he passed by. The fae’s heart skipped a beat when he mentioned the purchase of him. If his first guess was right then this probably meant that he’d get a ticket to freedom, but he’d have to be cautious anyways. His assumptions were right, the kid wanted to buy his little pest. As eager as he was to be rid of the thing he wouldn’t let it go for free. He knew the kid alright, and this kid had a reputation as a goody-goody. The bandit had to control the urge to make a face. Knowing that, it meant that his pest would probably be freed as soon as they were out of sight. That meant he’d have to catch the thing again. However, if the kid wanted to save the pitiful thing so bad then he’d probably shell out to do it. The merchant leaned back in his seat and gave a firm offer, “One hundred gold pieces.” He smirked at his self-considered genius and waited for the pay to come. Besides, if the little pest wanted to come back he’d be ready for him and ready to make more profit too. |

Chris heard the words the man said, 100 gold? The boy calmly began to look thought his things in search for gold. But he did not have any on him...he never had gold or used it. "Hmmm....you think I could pay with something else?" he asked him slowly and continued to search around. The only things he found was a few pretty stone that he got from a noble that had lost his way in the forest. They had all kinds of colors and was really shiny in the sun. Chris started to put out things on the stand in order for the man to be able to pick something out that he wanted. "So these are what I have mister, you think I could pay with any of this?" he hoped that man would find anything that he wanted, just something...anything. |

The man’s jaw dropped as he saw one precious jewel taken out after another. This beat one hundred pieces of gold any day. This kid didn’t even know he was a walking jewel deposit! It looked like he pulled them all out too. The bandit-merchant recovered quickly though as he didn’t want Chris to catch onto the fortune he just offered him. “You know, I’d be willing to trade him for all of these little stones here... even if I am letting him go a little cheaply.” Delki’s reaction to seeing the shiny, sparkly jewels was of equal envy but not for their actual value. The jewels were just so shiny! He loved shiny things. Delki couldn’t help but walk over to one and touch it, though that only got a swat from the bandit. Broken from his trance he listened in on the bartering going on overhead. He knew those stones were worth plenty, and so did the bandit. It looked like the only one who didn’t was the person willing to pay with them. Delki decided to speak up, “He’s trying to rip you off! Any one of those are worth twice as much as one hundred if not mo-” he was stopped again but this time by being pushed against the stand which also knocked the air out of him. The bandit tried to recover from that, “Don’t mind him; he likes shiny things even if they are worthless.” |

Chris looked at the gem, he did not really want to part with them or anything like that...they where pretty. The boy sighed and then the eyes turned to the littlr guy as he talked, the words was weird and Chris did not understand why these rocks was worth so much? He looked at the man once again and seemed to be thinking. "I will give you half of the rocks mister, because the rest I need because I have to use them for something else" he told the merchant with a calm voice. "and do not hurt him, I want him alive" he commented this about the way the bandit had treated the boy a moment ago. "so...will that do for payment?" |

The bandit growled and stood up as the boy got smart from that pesky fae he had pinned under his finger. “No, I want it all and I’ll be taking it all,” he grinned hysterically as he pulled out a sword. “Mommy Fara won’t get here in time to save you, and I’ll be out of here before she would even find out it was me,” he laughed and jumped out of the stand and grasped Delki tightly. “Now you’re gonna die nice and quietly or else you’ll have to see this little guy go pop,” the bandit made a stab for the boy’s heart. The death of a boy on his blade was nothing to the bandit with a fortune that could keep him very happy for a long time at stake. |

Chris was not a person that liked to hurt others...but at a time like this he just did not care as a sudden rage bursted up into hos chest and he moved quickly. The weretiger grabbed hold of the bandits arm before he could sink the sword into the little guys body. There was something about his face that seemed different, there was a rage in his eyes. Without hesitating the boy quickly changed the direction of the mans own sword and with a weird sound he would cut his own arm right of and it was going to land on the stand. Chris was not done with this and as the arm was falling he raised his leg and gave the man a kick in the chest. A kick enchanced with the magic of of his bull´s strenght. This was most likely going to send the bandit flying into the wago...and most likely thought it to. But Chris did not care about that the slightest, he was just thinking to save a life. |

Delki gasped as he felt himself moving swiftly and also noticed a trail of blood following his path. It wasn’t his blood, so that had to mean it was either of the other two. There was a thud as he, along with the hand that was grasping him landed on the stand. Delki took the moment to look at his predicament and grinned as he saw that the arm was quite simply severed. A loud crash drew his attention away from that slight joy and he saw the bandit being hurtled through the back of the stand. The bandit in particular was left in a groaning mess covered in his own wares and blood. The jewels were scattered all about, but one in particular was rather close to Delki. The fae’s eyes widened again as he walked over to it and reached out a small hand to touch it. The jewel shifted and indeed rolled off the side much to Delki’s dismay. He treaded over to the edge of the stand and looked at it longingly. Then it occurred to him to look at his hopeful-savior. The fae felt a pang of affection towards the teen standing in front of him and his tail swished behind him as he smiled up to Chris. |

Chris ignored the man and quickly gathered the gems that he been spread around the area, he found most of them and placed them once again inside of his pockets. His eyes then turned to the little guy as he noticed that he was looking at him. Chris reached down and lifted the bandits arms and threw it away to the side. "You okay?" he asked with a soft voice as he calmly began to remove the little chain from the boy. "He did not hurt you to much did he?" even if Chris did not know this little boy he sounded like he was worried. |

Delki dusted himself off, though that was difficult to do due to all the dirt that had built up on him over the course of his entrapment and general abuse. “A little bruised and dirty, but I think I’m okay,” he glanced back towards his tail just to be sure of it for a tail could be easily broken if mishandled. It looked fine though, although equally dirtied like the rest of him. In fact he was so dirty that his hair barely held resemblance to its true snow-white coloration. The fae stretched and took his first deep breath in a while after the cord that had been so uncomfortably tight around his neck was removed. Delki grinned and hoped onto Chris’s hand before he retracted it. He wouldn’t do that to just anyone, only people he trusted would he seek passage on. “It’s a long walk to anywhere from here for me, and you’ve been so nice so far. Could you please take me somewhere a bit safer?” he looked up to Chris with hopeful eyes and he laced his fingers together in anticipation. |

Chris listened to the little guy as he talked and the weretiger smiled softly as he examined the boy, he was so small. Chris had never seen anyone this small before, but he was really dity alright. He was not sure if the hair was suppose to be white or gray. well that was a question for a later time. Chris did not do anything against when Delki jumped onto his hand, he just smiled a little at what the boy said. "Sure I can do that, I was not planning to leave you all by yourself in the middle of th forest." he moved the boy up and placed him on his left shoulder. "Let´s get away from here, you may want to hold on a little." then Chris began to run back from where he came. He did not look back towards the merchant and little did he care if he survived or not. "So what´s your name? I`m Christofer, but call me Chris" |

Delki stepped lightly off of the hand that had to gently carry him up to the shoulder. The fae settled down on the shoulder and offered a, “Hope you don’t mind…” before partially slipping under his shirt to hold on a bit better. Then the running started, he always disliked the running whenever he was riding on someone. Yet Chris held a grace that was uncommon, and the running wasn’t too unpleasant. Delki grinned as he felt the wind rushing past his face and glanced up to his savior and nodded, “I’m Delki, nice to meet you Chris.” |

Chris laughed a little. "Of course I do not mind it" he replied and felt the little guy move, he did not mind it that the boy did what he did to be able to hold on better. The weretiger continued to run and he knew that the cave was not going to be all to far away, they would be safe once there and no bandit ever came close to mommy´s cave or anything like that. "Yeah nice to me you to Delki" Chris smiled a little and stopped for a while in order to search around with his eyes, he then continued to run for a few more minutes before they arrived to the entrance into the cave. "This should be a safe place for now" the teen said as he walked inside, it was a comfortable cave and Fara´re had gotten much things there that could be of use to them. "I guess you are hungry right?" Chris asked. |
