| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

The werewolf howled as yet another acidic pellet hit against his hide. The fur around his back had been burned away by now and his skin wasn’t looking much better. It took a time but he eventually realized that he wasn’t feeling all too steady. It was put to the back of his mind as he noticed that Vernon was still hot on his tail. Tracyn stumbled but kept upright for the time being, but the spell continued to drain away at him and he began to wobble from side to side significantly more. It was then that he made one wrong step and fell head first into some muck only to be yanked out of it as the rest of his body went overhead. After all the tumbling was said and done the werewolf was on his back and covered once again in grime. |

It was as easy as shooting ducks in a barrel, but much more fun. Vernon watched with interest as the poison swiftly did a number on Tracyn's brain. He pondered launching another pellet while waiting for the inevitable result, but no that wasn't a good idea. Any more acid and the pansy would likely be at risk of bleeding to death; the werewolf most certainly did not deserve that repreive and Vernon didn't know enough to prevent his death if that happened. Soon enough the ever anitcipated event occured and it was even more gracelessly beautiful than Vernon could have ever imagined, a perfect 10 for painfully amusing falls. Vernon jumped out beside the werewolf after putting away his slingshot and pellets. Aside from the acid that had made a mess of the pup's back the fall had like but the healer in great pain. No doubt ever bone in his body ached. Vernon doubted a human could survive such a fall very well. Good thing Tracyn had decided to change into a were. "Looks like that should hurt pretty badly. I certainly can't let you do more damage to yourself than I have," Vernon snickered as he aimed his sword. While the muck still held his prey Vernon drove his blade down upon Tracyn's arm. He made sure to pic the arm that was already missing a pinkie so that he still have five fingers left to play with. |

The werewolf’s gaze was drifting and his adrenaline was beginning to slip after suffering so much pain due to the acid and fall. Tracyn gave a canine groan as he shifted in an attempt to get off of his aching back. Everything he did though only worsened the pain as the burnt skin shifted. A sharp pain, far worse than the numbing agony caused by the acid, brought him out of his werewolf state and back into a human once more. He cried out in pain and looked at the sword that had run his arm through. The healer could do nothing about the blade but did manage to tend to his burns with what little endurance he had left. The pain brought tears to his eyes as he went limp in submission, he was as good as dead now. |

Maybe he overdid it a little bit. He hadn't expected him to pass out, but then again he hadn't even though of being cautious enough to prevent it from happening. He seemed to be concious and squirming as Vernon licked the blood off of his blade, but as soon as he picked up the amputated arm he noticed the pup wasn't moving any more. Vernon clubed the werewolf with the arm all over, but there was no response, though later there would certainly be an addition of bruises. Vernon sat on the body and nibbled on the hand that was still attached to Tracyn while he contemplated what to do next. He didn't want the werewolf to die, but he wanted to have more fun with the silly healer. Having more fun would increase the chances of him dieing. With his present injuries waiting for him to regain the energy to heal himself might not actually be an option. Vernon growled at his bothersome options. After a long and hard session of thinking Vernon decided it was time for Play time to end. One thing was for sure, he wouldn't be seeing the wimp in his marsh any more, though maybe Vernon might have the chance to hunt down the abomination later. Vernon got up and peeled the werewolf off the mucky ground before unceremoniously tossing the werewolf into the sleigh. He was going to drop the wimp off somewhere in the forest where might be found and tended to. If wolves got to him first it would at least be an amusingly ironic death. Vernon tossed Tracyn onto the forest floor, but did not immediately leave. He'd taken so much from the lycan, but had not offered one memento of the visit to the marsh. Vernon took his sword and carved a large V on Tracyn's chest. Much like the stub of an arm Tracyn was left with it the would never heal appropriately. Vernon decided to snatch up one last memento for himself, more like a snack, but whatever. Vernon open Tracyn's mouth and cut out the healer's tongue with the Flea, making sure not to poison the healer in the process. It would be most amusing to see the healer try and use spell with no tongue to speak with. With the deed done and the fun gone Vernon left for the marsh while munching on Tracyn's amputated arm. |
