| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Mithranduir was walking through his favorite place in all of Imythess. The birds were chirping and the air was scented with pine and the sun was shining brightly through the shroud of trees. He finally got to the place where he felt most comfortable and at peace. The lake. He always enjoyed the walk in the forest and how the grass was just perfectly green almost all year round except for winter. The sun was about be at high noon as he put his feet in the water and began to go through all his spells just for fun. He took some dried leaves from his pocket that he collected from the previous walk and threw them in the air and with his control of wind blew them around and then he lit them on fire and watched them turn to ash. He felt good about himself today. It was like one of those days' when one wakes up and just knows that it is going to be a good day for them. And today Mith knew it was his. |

Erin always enjoyed to be in Norwood, it was calm most of the time and she could calm down and take some time to be a little to herself. She had her own special spot close to the lake, it was a large boulder where she could sit and watch the lakes water move, listen to the singing birds and the others sound created by nature. It was a lovely day now and as always when she could Erin sat on her boulder, the wind made her hair move a little now and then. But then again her hair always seemed to move as from a wind that was not there at all. Erin was singing, she liked to sing and did so whenever she could. She was not an expert and had only been sining before people once and the party of Lehona. Seth had told her she had a wonderful voice and he did not lie to anyone, but he might have said so to make Erin happy or something. The song she was sining came from the air tribe her father had been leader of, it was a calm song. Like a gentle wind blowing though the forest. It was her favorite and it was the one she sang at the part to, not to say it was the one she sang the most and she knew every little part of it outside and in. The girl did not see Mith since she was watching the water of the lake. |

Mithranduir, content with the clouds and the sky and how it was arranged looked down and saw Erin fifty yards away sitting next to a boulder. He jumped to his feat and blinked over to her and said smiling, Erin! How are you *smiling* it's great to see you on this fine spring day. What kind of trouble have you been getting into? Mith sat down next to her. He always enjoyed Erin's company mostly because she was very down to earth and kept him grounded. He needed this because without that he would be a wild man not being able to know when to stop. His day today was off to a good start. |

Erin stopped singing as she heard the voice and she quickly looked there and noticed Mith, she smiled a little at him but a slight blush appeared in her face...had he heard her singing? She thought no one was around to hear her sing.... "Hello Mithranduir" she moved some hair in behind her ears as she thought of something that she could say to the man to reply to his questions. "Yeah it really is a nice day" she said in a thoughtful voice. "Calm and gentle, I like it best that way" Erin then looked at him for a moment. "No I have not been in any trouble really, not done much more then to help a few sick people in the village. That is all, things have been calm as for late. What about you then?" she asked him calmly. |

Mithranduir smiled he was always glad to hear that Erin was helping the sick or the needy. He knew it made her happy and he was happy because of it. He said to her smiling, I'm glad Erin and I haven't been up to a lot lately just going around killing bad guys protecting Imythess, same old same old. He laughed he knew that wasn't really true. He looked at the lake and reflected on his time here. What a life it has been. (OOC: Short post ahhh!!! :() |

Erin sighed a little at his words, she shook her head slightly and calmly watched the lake as the wind made the surface move slightly. She did not say anything for a while and just sat there and listened to the sounds of the forest, then she glaced at Mith. "I see" she said lowly, then she made a pause before she continued to talk. "That is a pity that people have to kill each other all the time" he hand was shaking slightlty as she said this. "I know it is to kill evil and all that, but I still think it is useless.....I have never in my life taken a life and I hope I never will have to do either" she thought of what she had just said and then she smiled a little and shook her head once more. "Never mind what I just said" she said with a calm voice. "I´m just talking about random things...." |

Don't worry about that. I enjoy to hear you talk. Like I said last time we talked. What do you think of this place Erin? It's beautiful isn't it? This is my favorite place to go when I have to think about things. I feel at peace here. Not to loud but on the other hand not too quiet. Don't you agree? Mithranduir started to think about the last time he was here and what he had thought about. Meera had been very far from his mind until today. She was a great friend to him and might have been even more if he hadn't left to go on the mission that almost cost him his life. He regretted that and going back in time he might have made his decision differently now knowing the outcome. But, doesn't everyone have that hindsight 20/20? He was sure that he wasn't the only one. |

Erin listened to Mith as he was talking, and whil she did her eyes moved around the area around them. She smiled and nodded. "Yeah your right, it is a wonderful place and I often come to just this spot in order to think mainly, when I need some time to just not think about my job." she tilted her head to the side and then she glanced over to Mith again and smiled at him. "Yeah, not to loud and not to quiet either, I agree with you on that part" she said with a soft voice, then she sighed a little and her gaze moved to the calm lake again. She had come here often, mainly because this was a place not many came to and she remembered all the times she had spent here, crying. She felt lost and did not know what to do, neither did she know where to turn and how to do it. She had still not had the courage to face Nikki and Seth, but they most likely never wanted to see her again...not after they learned the truth about her life. How worthless she really was. The girl shook her head a little and the look in her face turned sad for a slight second before it dissappeared and returned to her normal happy one. |
