Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

Mamehas wooden shoes clanked against the hard cemented rock pathway. Lanterns were strung across the city streets, illuminating the roads. The complexity of Mamehas vision was a problem she had learned to cope with through out her years. She taught herself when it was going to rain, when light was turning to dark.

Her dark black hair flowed flawlessly in the wind, her sword dangling at her side. The clouds started to move in, growing darker and dark. Before too long rain was pouring down from the heavens, causing her self made makeup to drip from her face. The white stained rain dripped from her face and landed on the ground staining all the puddles a hue of grey. Leaves from the trees flew around making whirlwinds in the alleys. Hurrying her pace of which she was walking, she shortly arrived at the door of the inn. Before stepping into the building, Mameha twisted her hair making all the water to rain back to the ground.

The inside of the inn was warm and cozy, people all gathered by the fireplace together glasses of wine and beer in hand. A large built man stood from his seat and began throwing logs into the fire. Fire was such a magical thing to Mameha, if only she could see it in color. The shades of red, blue, and orange burnt through all the wood, eating away at its very life. Grabbing a tall glass of wine, she sat on the stairs next to the fire, sipping slowly at her bitter drink. The red wine colored her lips an even darker red than her crushed berry lipstick could.

Slowly Mameha turned her head and faced a man; his eyes were brown along with his hair. The man had white skin and from what she could tell freckles around his cheeks. He sat there staring at a fire and slowly a single tear crept down his face. Slowly stepping up, she walked over and sat next to him and looked in his eyes. Turning around he looked upon Mameha and blushed at such a beautiful woman was sitting next to him. Wondering what was wrong she asked him ”Is everything ok?”. The man introduced himself properly as Samuel and explained his story. His only son had been killed in the bloody war, but first captured and tortured for months. He explained how the gang that captured him was called the “Death Countdown”.

Giving the man a kiss on the cheek, she promised revenge for him. Standing up, Mameha looked around the tavern for anyone holding any sort of weapon. Three people were over by the door talking, all of them had weapons of some kind. She strode over to the group and asked them all for assistance against the gang in which must be defeated for man kind itself.

Arthur was sipping his drink talking to two warriors who said there was a gang vey powerful in Kellen bothering people. From what the warriors told him they caused alot of damage. To bad they were hard to fidn according to them or the gaurds would have dealt with them long ago. It seemed they were there then gone. they called the gang Death Countdown. A interesting name for a gang. He heard the same story from everyone else so far.

Arthur had no need to fear such people. He was half-dragon after all. That was one of the reasons these men were metting hsi eyes rightnow. Afraid to look into the draconic eyes of his. That was the only thing that gave away what he was. They feared to know that btu they still talked to him. As Arthru was about to move a woman came in she was younger than him. She was dressed ldiffrent from the women around here and a little paler. She was obviously a traveler as Arthurcould the dirt on her wooden shoes which seemed odd to him. They did not look the thing a person usually traveled in.

Still he watched her. She talked to a man and Arthur could see the teas in the mans eyes even from this distance. Somethign wasb ieng said and Arthur wanted to know what. Finally she looked over to him and the warriors and came over. he quirked his head all the more curious. Arthru handed the gold he had promised oevr to them and they walked away only leavign him and the girl. She stared at him and Arthur said," May I help you mam. Or are you just looking because you like to".
