Having found no other people to join his group, besides Kaess and the cat (Fara're). He had just survived that disaster with a pixie called Meek and Kaess going a bit crazy nearly lighting a building on fire. That pixie (Meek) had escaped and good riddance. Now he and the other two could look for the treasure in peace. They arrived at the lake, so early in the morrning the sun wasn't due for another hour and thus camped out. The fire was burning brightly and Kaess started to tell them about the trip. "Okay now there are two things we need to get this treasure one is at the bottom of this lake and the other is in the bandit camp. I don't think you will mind killing a few bandits will you. I will be diving down as soon as the sun comes up to get the item and I would ask both of you." Looks and sounds kind of reluctant when addressing Fara're. "To protect my back, there is a group of people also after the treasure, but they don't have my knowledge on these items. So they may attack and I would rather not be stabbed as I come up for breath. Well what do you two say any ideas for plans or you okay with just coming up with things as we go?" |

Fara're looked over to the wolf with her gold eyes. He seemed somewhat unhappy to have her traveling with him. Not that she was much happier either. Not only was he an idiot but her smelled bad too. Why did dogs always have to stink so much? When he mentioned something about protecting his back she just sighed. "Fine I guess I will do that. Just start treating me with a bit more respect please. You do know I can beat the snot out of you right?" she said. "And great...you will now not just smell like dog...but wet dog..." "But here I will help in your little search," she said with a grin. She spun without warning and kicked Seregon. She was aiming to send him flying into the lake. She knew he would just try to get even about this later, but she still was having fun right now. The one pay off of traveling with the mutt is that she got the chance to torture him. And perhaps later she would be able to show him up and let him see just how good of a fighter she was. And that she was better than he was. |

Kaess had been half mediating, these two seemed to have some history, but he wished they could get along better. In response to Séregon and said. "I am alright with that.” He then watched Fara're kicking the werewolf towards the water. He got up. "That wasn't really necessary was it? Oh well I guess we started earlier than planed." To Séregon "Good Luck!” Shrugs his shoulders and stretched a bit to loosen up the muscles so he could watch out for trouble and be ready. |

As he flew towards the lake he transformed with the words. "Darn you cat!" Fara're and Kaess could see him change back clearly. He hit the water hard, he swam further out. The water was cold, but at least he wouldn't half to worry about wet fur. He then dove beneath the water. He swam through the dark waters knowing the aproximate location, but it would probably take a few tries. His first few dives was a few mintues in length. It had been about fifteen minutes and he took a small break then dove below for a long dive. Once he was bellow about 5 arrows stuck out at both Fara're and Kaess and five men and three women in dark clothes jumped out with short blades. Followed by one man wielding a claymore and wearing chainmail. All of these people didn't look like bandits and more like experinced mercenaries or assasins. The man in chainmail looked like he wasn't going to join and was just watching. He looked like he might be the leader. |

Fara're just gave an innocent smile as Kaess asked her if that was necessary. She then looked to the wolf who had just transformed to his elven form. Her jaw dropped, this was likely the first time anyone had seen her so surprised. "Seregon?!?" she yelled. "Your the mutt!?" Her fur stood up on end and her tail went rigid. She was not sure if she wanted to kill him or hug him. Seregon had been a good friend to her in her elven form...but to find out he was the one who hunted her. She folded her arms and turned her back on the lake. She would give him a good punch for this later. But she would not let him find out who she really was. Her ears perked up as she heard something. An instant later she heard the twang of bows and saw the arrows flying at her. She sprang back and deftly dodged the arrows. As she dodged she yelled "Attack!" as a warning to Kaess. She looked to the attackers with her golden eyes. It looked like nine against two, but one did not seem like he was going to attack. Merely watch. That made it more like eight against two. "Mmmm....eight against us two. Plus some coward who merely wishes to watch the fun. Seems like fair odds to me. Kaess you take the four on the right, I'll take the four on the left," she said. With the speed and agility of a hunting cat Fara're ran forward to attack one of the women. She knew they were more than the average bandits she usually delt with, but that just ment the battle would be more fun. She ducked as a blade whistled for her head and landed a punch into the attackers stomach. As the woman doubled over from the punch Fara're sprang out of reach of the others. Being outnumbered she would need to rely on her agility and speed. Run in, land a blow, get out, repeat until you were the last one standing. |

Surprised Fara're knew the other form of Séregon. 'Have to ask her about that later he thought.' Watching Séregon dive bellow he jumped into a flip out of the way of the arrows whe Fara're warned him. He also looked at the attackers. 'Hmm look tough, hope that guy doesn't join looks alot tougher than the rest. "Alright the right it is, but watch out I don't think these are the archers. This may only be a distraction." Summoning his draconic magic he weaved a fire ball out of the energies while drawing away his group. Launching the fire ball blasting one of the males and scorching the others. Kaess could tell that wouldn't work again these people were fast. The three remaining were barely hurt diving out of the way quickly. At least the surprise got one, he thought. He then fell into a stance fliping one who charged him and then moving back to avoid the counter blows. The one fliped surprisingly rolled to saftey. 'Who could have sent people this skilled at us.' |

Séregon unaware of the battle going above concentrated on his dive. He was a little distracted trying to figure out the cat's words earlier, how did she know his other form. 'Wierd oh well.' He continued down into the depths. Above the attakcer Fara're punched stumbled a bit, but seemed to recover, her clothing riped showing tough leather armor bellow. The other three moved to encircle Fara're two moving slowly from two sides and one down the middle to drive her towards the lake where they would have her surounded. The fourth joined after she got her breath back. The moved eficently and showed that they had survived many battles. Kaess's group behaved difrently more concerned with keepin him from casting attacking fast and acurately forcing him to be on this guard almost all the time. The one who had rolled back to her feet had launched shurikens at him that seemed to drip a dark substence. On closer inspection of any weapon they all glistened oddly like they had been covered in something. The burns from the fire ball had taken clothes again revealing tough leather. The one that had been hit directly was lying on the ground body smoking slightly. He looked younger mabey a new member and it was clear he hadn't been entirely human. He looked as if he had devil blood in him. The others still hidden by clothes and armor couldn't be inspected to see if they shared this trait. The leader just laughed at the death of one of his minions and lowered his hand at Fara're and another voley of arrows came at her all five this time. He just smiled in an inhuman way, that made him feel like he didn't belong in this world at all. |

Andras wandered through the forest wondering if he would ever meet one of the fabled were creatures that were said to roam Norwood when he heard commotion coming from the lake. As he stepped through the tree line he could see a were tigress and a half dragon fighting a well armed team of trained solders several hundred yards away. The pair seemed to be holding their own but were having a difficult time dealing with the coordinated maneuvers of the team. Andras raised his wand and built up arcane energy as he focused toward the melee, unfortunately he had yet to learn any offensive spells but hoped to shock the team enough to persuade them to retreat. "Here goes nothing" he muttered to himself after a few moments and released a burst of arcane shards from his wand willing their trajectory to split with half going towards the dragon's nearest attacker and the rest going towards one of the tigress' foes. "A priori, Causa sui, Tempora mutantur, Ex nihilo nihil fit" he began to chant hoping his opponents would assume he was rediying a spell and not merely going through recitations designed to train a wizard in proper pronunciation of spells. Unfortunately the soldiers were less than impressed when the shards crackled harmlessly against their armor. Their leader motioned and Andras nearly dodged the volley of arrows, but one managed to slice his left shoulder. |

Kaess cursed as he saw the spell impact some of the mercenaries, but at the same time it was an advantage four of the archers were now visiable to them. However, it was also clear this person was not experinced yet in the ways of magic and would need help. This was an situation he could hold back in. Unleashing strength he had conserved to allow him better survive the fight he turned in a flurry of blows that smashed into two oponents destroying a wind pipe of one and throwing the other onto his oponents blade with a throw as he charged him. The other two hesitating in the next attack. "Far're" he called clearly indicating the new mage in need of help and their need to finish up quickly with their current fight. |

Nimohtar happened to stumble into the field and saw a large fight happening. He looked around to see what exactly was going on. He was confused at exactly what was happening. He did not see much and the battle seemed to have been started before he even could see anything. He saw one man call out Fara're and he did look as if he needed assistance. Nimohtar could clearly see that this man was no warrior. He could clearly see that he had no weapons on him. However before he knew it he was right next to the man and asked the man "What is going on." Nimohtar was still confused on what he was doing as he had his sword in his left hand and had his buckler strapped to his right arm. He seemed fully prepared for any fight that may come his way. He kept thinking what am I doing in his mind as he was taking a battle stance to protect and retaliate if any assailants were to come his way. |

Fara're gave a powerful kick to one of the bandit's head. He went flying and slammed into a tree before sprawling on the ground and did not get up. She glanced over when she heard her name called. "Ah, so NOW you remember my name," she said back. She saw the mage in need and ran over. As she dashed over to him she saw Nimohtar. "Don't just stand there you fool! Hit something!" she yelled at him. She lept up into a tree and ran through the branches. She had her eyes on one the archers. It was time to take those annoying guys out. One of the men let out scream as he saw him coming. He tried to ready an arrow but it was too late, she was upon him. She dug her claws into him and pounced. The force drove them both out of the tree, with her landing on top of him. With a vicious slash, she ripped out his throat with her claws. She jumped back into a tree looking for her next target. It was her they needed to worry about, not some already wounded mage. |

Séregon was reaching his limit when he finialy spotted the item of his search. At least he hopped he had. He grabbed it and started to move up towards the surface of the lake. Swiming quickly wanting to get warm by a fire soon. Menwhile the remaining mercenaries with swords went after Kaess. One slumed to the ground after a sword was removed from his chest. The one against the tree fell over and it was clear that the skull was crushed in the back. It was becoming aparent that these people had green blood instead of red. The one pounced by Far're quickly pulled his knife out and fought back with more power than the others aparently she had chosen a strong one in this group. He stabbed at her scoring at least a slight wound, before his throat was ripped out. It was clear that the dager was silver, because the wound hurt. Two archers droped their bows one pulling out a silver longsword and the other silver dagger. The other two pulled out a simillar pair of weapons and charged Nimohtar and Andras. It was at this point as they all were fighting that Séregon breached the surface near shore. "What the heck is going on?" He quickly swam towards shore intending to join the fight shortly. |

Nimohtar was now irritated that the enemy had silver weapons. He was muttering to himself "What are the bloody chances my opponent actually have silver weapons." Nimohtar seeing the charge side steps and slashes the one who charged him with his long sword. Nimohtar was wondering what he had walked into and why these individuals seems to be fighting so fiercely. He then went and proceeded to fighting the assailants as they were coming to him. He made sure to keep a close eye on the weapons because he knew how dangerous it would be if it actually connected. Nimohtar was more focused on disabling the opponents so they could never hold a weapon then anything else. As he was fighting he asked "Can someone please tell me what is going on and what i have walked into?" He did this as he cut off one of the assailants hands that held the silver weapon. |

As the remaining mercenaries on the shore of the lake moved to encircle him he slowly moved back. Well at least the archers would be delt with soon, but then he realized these people had made two mistakes. They had given him enough room to back up for once and they were about to charge in which would leave them togeather in one spot. Probably due to being over cautious due to how he had taken down the last two. 'Not too bright I guess they already forgot my other talents.' He moved backwards quicker and into the air just as they were past the point of no return in their charge. The quicker attackers tried to catch him before he was too high, but it was too late. He was in the air speaking quickly as he gathered the energy neccesary. The fire gleamed in his hands and he launched to fire ball in the middle of the now clustured group. "Enjoy that, you assasins." He watched as it exploded he caught most of them in the blast and those that survived had continued moving from their charge strait into the water, where Séregon was coming in full were-wolf form ready to claw into them. Kaess then turned his attention to the leader who still stood watching the battle as if it didn't matter to him. |

"Im a fool, why did waltz right into the open?" Andras muttered as he hit the ground, knocked off balance by the arrow's impact as he tried to jump aside. "My master was always the strategist, and he had the power to back up his threats" he reminisced. At least the tide of battle seemed to have swung against the team of soldiers. Suddenly a white were tiger was standing above him asking what was going on."I don't really.. ssAAH!!" the burning in his arm made it all too apparent the weapon was poisoned. Fighting the pain and trying not to black out Andras tried to think if he had anything that could deal with poison of this caliber but he didn't. The tigress who the others called Far're and the white tiger dealt with the archers. "At least... they won't get a second shot..." Using his skill at directing his magical energy Andras shut of the flow of magic to his injured arm hoping it would diminish the blood flow, keeping the poison from spreading too far. |
