Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

Falcas tramped through the snow, wading about knee high in the white powder. The snow was only a foot deep, but falcas was only about four high. Growling under his breath, shield gleaming on his back. As he stubbed his toe on a frozen rock hidden by powder. Cursing colorfully, he glared daggers at the snow and stood on tiptoe, swinging forward to slam his head in it.

Connecting with a trough, he smashed through it, reducing the planks to splinters. He barked angrily and punched it, freeing his head. Standing, he rubbed the scratch on his brow, he unstrapped his shield and grabbed it, smashing it into the trough. A pulse eminated from the connection point, blowing it to pieces.

Laughing, falcas watched as a man ran out of the inn the trough belonged to. The dwarf tugged at his snow white hair and ran forward, slamming his black skinned head into the man’s stomach, knocking the wind out of him.

Feeling playful, Falcas chuckled. “Teach you to have a shouting match with a dwarf, boy.”

The moment Almasi saw it was snowing she put on her heavist cloak with fur, her thickest soled boots and ran outside with a smile on her face. The snow crunched under her feet as she ran. The cold nipped at her skin, but being of ice it didnt bother her as quickly as it would everyone else. The flakes fell on her brown hair styaing their for a few moments before melting, each individual snow flake its each pattern.

Their was only a few yards left till town so this is where she stopped. Here she simply fell, the snow catching her, it was soft, her brown hair fanned out as well as the pale blue of her furrl linned cloak that fell off her shoulders. For a while she sipmly made snow angels, then she began her snow man.

AFter an hour or two she stood back to take a look at him, he was lopsided, head bigger than the body, she loved him! With a smile she giggled and began to walk around and when she got to one side was supremly suprsied to see a dwarf on the other side. She jumped and put a gloved hand to her heard. "You scared me!" She said with the smile.

Falcas sent the man back in his inn without any further trouble, the mn holding his stomach. Chuckling, Falcas inspected his black skin and white hair, the result of being frozen by a white dragon, thawed a week later. He looked like a drow dwarf with a blue tinge to his skin.

Walking over to the snowman, Falcas laughed as the woman grabbed her heart. Inspecting her snowman, falcas leaned in a bit, then took a bite out of it, gnawing on the frozen chunk.

Through a mouthful of snow, the dwarf tried to speak. “Ye’ve quite the ice-man, woman.” He chuckled, snow falling from his mouth. Rolling a ball of snow along the ground, he made his own snow-dwarf, inspecting every aspect of it before slamming it with his shield. With a miniature shockwave, the snow was blown towards the woman in a flurry of white mist and snowballs.

Almasi took a step backward when he litterally ate her snow man, she lovingly picked up some more snow and put it in the gap that he had created, packing over the new blemish on her handsome snow man. She watched as snow fell off his mouth and caught in hsi beard and laughed. "Uhm thanks."

The cold snow hit her skin on her shoulders in a burst, when the flurry died down she looked like a human popsicle, the snow had not yet melted on her already magically cold skin and stuck to her warm fabric. Almasi stood in shock for a moment. "What may I ask was that for?"

Falcas watched her with a frown, thinking of why he did it. “Ye were standing there. Do I need any further reason?” He winked at her, crafting a snowball with bare hands, tossing it up and down. Backing away a bit, he slung the ball at her, roaring a battlecry as he let fly.

Falcas scooped up a small wall in front of himself, sliding his shield in front, a white fort with an iron dish in front.

“Hit me if ye can, woman!” He bellowed at her, using one hand to make another snowball.
