Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

Such foolish logic, he’d never succeed like that. “Don’t you see, while you gather power from doing tasks for her, she gathers even more power from what you return with. You’ll never overcome her alone. She probably even spies on you occasionally so that he knows exactly what you are capable. The best you could probably do by yourself is getting her to respect you and treat you like a partner rather than useless boot scum. You’ll need additional help to best her. I’m quite surprised you haven’t taken better use of the guild. But we’ll discuss the solution to this problem later,” Vernon grinned before taking one finally bite out of the leg. Vernon placed the leg back in his bag, annoyed that snack time had to end so soon. The house would be in sight with just another bend in the road.

“I like your style. I can’t wait to see you in combat and find out just how ready you are the one you would let treat you like a meager minion,” Vernon laughed before turning his attention to which of his toys he would use. His hand grasped his sling shot. It was such a simplistic weapon and was often underestimated when the chance was granted. Fehade would likely that it a laughable offense until he saw its pellets at work. Their sting was a corrosive acid that had a ceaseless appetite akin to his own. It would be good fun until they got up close and personal where his poisoned weaponry would be more use.

I will overcome her alone, rat, you have no idea what I'm capable of, he thought to himself, looking ahead, a smirk briefly passed over his face before it returned to a dull, almost bored look. He then noticed the small cabin where the mage must live. It was a simple looking place, a rock built house, with shutters that were wide open to let any sun through whenever its out. Vines climbed the walls, and there seemed to be a variety of plants outside, and most likely some inside too. Fehade stopped in his tracks, wondering briefly how he wanted to go about this, but not wanting to really look all that suspicious, he started walking again, veering off the road and onto a small pathway that led to the house, not caring if he was noticed as he purposefully walked on.

He walked straight to the door, and when there, he raised his hand to knock, but listened to the voices a moment, then knocked on the door, not bothering to look to see if Vernon was behind him. He leaned against the wall right near the door way, he would be easily noticed once the mage opened it. The voices stopped immediately, and he heard feet shuffling towards the door. When the door cracked open showing a older looking man wearing green mottled robes, Fehade smiled friendly, that oddly had a dark look to it.

"Hi, I'm here looking for something my employer wants, I was told you have it." With that, he kicked open the door, and before the mage could even stutter a word of magic, Fehade grabbed him around the throat tightly, but not enough to block the airway off completely, just so he would be able to speak. He started pushing the man farther inside, his gaze looking to the mages friend, who looked to be a traveling mage.

"Make one little squeak, and I'll do worse then just make your guts boil. He hissed at the other mage. He turned his attention to the plant mage. "Now, why don't you tell me where the little gem is?" Fehade asked, smiling again, slowly letting go of the wizards throat, as he took out his dagger and pressing it between the ribs.

"I don't know what your talking about." The mage said, oddly calm and it annoyed the tiefling.
