| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Tumnus saw Neil dodge the various attacks that the troll was throwing at him. Luckily the low ceiling in the entry hall stopped his most vicious attacks, however it was obvious that Neil wouldn't be able to continually dodge the beast's attack. Tumnus pounded down the few yards between him and Neil, launching himself right into the troll. While the troll was much heavier than him, Tumnus slammed into him hard slamming the two into the cave's walls. As Tumnus regained his sense after the tackle, he realized that most of the troll's weight was on his arm and leg. However, he couldn't even feel the immense weight that was the troll's mass. Thats when he realized he didn't have any feeling at all in left arm and leg and that he could not even move them. Tumnus tried to swing his other arm around to land a couple punches on the brute's head but as he swung his arm and twisted his body to put some power behind it, he heard his bone crack once again. Pain shot through his body, taking his mind of landing any more punches. His new plan was to some how get the beast off him and or give Neil the time to kill the beast. |

OOC: As Neil Calhoun here - was wrapped up in duties to attend to earlier. : / Like having to hoe 10 acres worth of weeds. Glad I can rest now. _______ Neil grunted, after some time in a confusing moment of chaotic melee engagement with the beast he had seen a opportunity for attack. His attacks - even though the same amount of force was behind the strikes - carefully crept higher and higher to the beast, striking more vulnerable spots. He started jumping in coordination with his strikes, allowing him to slash the beast's collarbone at his best jumps. He tried to stab - but they were mostly ineffective, making him just resort to his slashing. With a incoming rush of energy, the strikes gained in power. All focus was placed on the attacks. |

Polsolve just got out of the green griffen and he was pretty drunk he was tumbling all over. Then he heard a sound when he was passing what looked like a troll cave... and smelled Polsolve also heard noises and saw these people fighting a troll. Polsolve decided too run in screaming sheathing his sword and next thing Polsolve knew he passed the battle about ten yards back. Polsolve was defiantly drunk. he through his axe at the troll but hit the wall instead. Polsolve ran at the beast and punched it leg. The troll wobbled a little but it really didn't do anything. |

Tumnus was able to role slightly to the side and out of the way of the fight. He watched Neil rip through the troll and slowly force it to it's knees. The troll could put up no defense as the onslaught of his blade ripped through his flesh. As the two headed troll dropped to the floor, Tumnus kept his conciseness to whisper out a few lines of drivel. "Burn... bu..rn him..." Tumnus barely whispered before losing all control over his body as the pain soared into his brain, literally knocking him out. He hoped atleast one of the other patrons of the cave had heard him. It was of the most importance since a troll that was not burned would just come back to life which would be quite horrible with Tumnus completely out of the fight. His arm and leg would probably take a long time to heal as he hadn't completely lost them, just broke them horribly. Tumnus awoke a few minutes after once the pain had subsided slightly. He looked down at his leg and arm to see a gruesome site. A bone was sticking completely out of his arm and his leg was bent in the wrong direction. "You flame the beast?" Tumnus said before even looking around to see what had happened. He surely hoped that they had burned the beast or the troll could have possibly started to regrow. |
