| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

"Hmm....egg, milk, flour, suger, baking powder, apples" Erin read to herself from a small note she was holding, "I think I have it all now" she looked down into the basket she was holding, checking that everything was there. "Good it looks like I have everything gramps asked me to to get for her." She walked down the street when suddenly a man bumped into her and she feel backwards onto the ground, the stranger ignored her and keept walking. "How rude" Erin said and stood up from the ground, then she noticed that most of her stuff had fallen out from the basked onto the ground. "Great, not to say perfect" she sighed and began to pick up everything into the basket again. But to her horror most of the things was ruined. She sighed deeply and she worked hard not to start crying....she could not cry in the middle of town. Cure her for being this sensetive. "This is not my day" she wispered to herself. She was just about to walk away when she suddenly triped over something in the ground and feel to the ground again. Again her things feel out on the ground. ((Not to mush I know, but It is more then nothing)) |

Another day had passed and Rothardan was ready to get on home to spend some time at the temple with Enelya. It was his day off tomorrow, which the paladin had been looking forward to, and he was going to spend all day tomorrow with Enelya like he had wanted. Taking off his red and gold guard armour, Rothardan placed everything in the chest at the base of his desk and put on his blue cotton shirt with a black jacket to match, for it was a cold day outside and the paladin didn't want to spend the day with Enelya coughing and sneezing. Exiting the halls of justice, Rothardan decided he would walk home rather than ride. So walking down the street, he began to think of his love's smile, the delicious stew he was going to make, the sun setting as he closed his eyes and slept into a new day. Though whilst he was walking, Rothardan noticed something in the corner of his eye... someone had bumped into a young girl and was not walking in the paladins direction. He bumped into Rothardan as well, but before he could walk away... the paladin grabbed him by his arm. Raising the man's arm, Rothardan saw his coin purse that was kept within his pockets, lifted in such a deft motion. The Paladin wasn't fooled though, and he knew that he would no doubt find a coin purse belonging to the young lady as well. The man struggled to break free, but Rothardan kept ahold. "You picked a great second victim..." the paladin said, "Trying to rob the captain of the guard whilst outside the halls of justice... brave move." The pickpocket stopped as soon as Rothardan said who he was, and then the paladin saw a flash of white cloud his vision. He heard the pickpocket run away, having just punched Roth in the face, and shook his head to rid the stars in his eyes. When he got his vision back, Rothardan saw the pickpocket had run to the end of the street. He saw the pickpocket looking back and laughing, so it was music to the paladins ears when the pickpocket cried in horror when the paladin had suddenly teleported in front of him using a blink spell. Grabbing the pickpocket by the arm and twisting it in a way only Taras Guards are taught, Rothardan managed to get the thief in a submission hold. The commotion attracted the night watch guards, who immediately came to Rothardan's assistance and grabbed the pickpocket. Rothardan addressed the two guards. "This man has stolen two coin purses, one of them mine, and assaulted a Taras Guard. Take him to the station and into a cell, the judge will see him in the morning." Taking back the coin purses, Rothardan gave them to the guards so they could store them in the evidence locker, and walked back to the young lady so he could ask her where she lived, just so he knew who to return the coin purse to in the morning. |

*Right before the thife hunt* Erin stood up slowly and again brushed some dust of her dress, then she picked up the basket and began to gather her stuff, the eggs was ruined, so was the bag with baking powder and the suger. But the rest looked nice and that was good. She then began to look into her pockets and noticed that her money purse was gone. "Oh no, not good" she said and looked around *When Rothardan grabbed the thife* Erin turned around and noticed the man that had bumped into her before. So he had taken it then? How mean...she placed a hand in front of her mouth when the pickpocketer bunched the captain in the face and ran of. She thought she caould do something to help, but she did not have the time and it was to many people on the street for her to get a good aim. Then everything happened very fast, the stranger had been standing there in the middle of the street, then he was next to the thife. Erin raised an eyebrow when this happened. The accident had made her forget about her ruined stuff. He noticed that the man talked to some of the guards, then he gave them two bags, one was Erins, but she did not know whos the other once was. But she knew how thing would work, they had to take the evidence to a safe place untill all was over. She noticed that Rothardan walked towards her, she watched him calmly and of course she did not know that it was the captain right away, because she had never seen him without armor on. But she thought he was handsome and a man who knew what he was doing. |

Rothardan stretched his jaw a little bit so as to work out the kinks in there, for the convict did hit hard and the paladin wasn't even prepared for it. Roth scolded himself for not expecting it, for not being on his guard. Every Taras Guard should expect the worst and the Captain was no exception. Hopefully, Enelya wouldn't notice the small bruise on Roth's face when he went home to her. She would be fussing over him all night if she noticed bless her, and Roth didn't want to worry her silly over a minor bruise. Eventually, Roth reached the young girl and introduced himself. "Good evening m'am, my name is Rothardan and I am captain of the Taras Guard. I'm sorry that we have to keep your purse but we need it as evidence, however I am willing to reimburse you for any damage done." Rothardan quickly looked over at the broken eggs and ruined baking power and sugar. Looks like they would have to be replaced. "Let's get those eggs replaced, and the baking powder and sugar." The thief himself would answer to Rothardan in two days time, but for now the paladin didn't want to think of work. This was one last thing he needed to clear up then it was off home to some stew and a nice night in front of the fire. |

Erin smiled when the captain introduced himself, the storm kindler bowed her head slightly. "Nice to meet you Rothardan" she said. "Yes I think I have seen you before, but you had armor then." she tilted her head a little to the side. "Don´t worry about the purse, I understand why you need it, I´m just glad you came and catched that guy. I have to say that lately there has been many thifes in this town, someone tried to break into my grandmother jewel shop the other day. But of course they did not know she was a teacher at the magic academy when she was young. They ran of quickly when they noticed" Erin looked at the brooken things, then at the captain. "Why thanks Captain, I´m happy to see that there are still some gentlemen in Taras these days." she made a pause, then she remembered. "Oh I´m sorry, how rude of me not to introduce myself, I´m Erin Shander." She was looking at Rothardan as she talked, he did not look that much like a captain in those clothes, but that might be the ide, she could guess it was his day off or something like that. She was glad that someone talked to her in this town, most people thought she was weird because she was the child of an air spirit. Gramps allways said that it was nothing, but she would not know. |
