| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Brahms was surprised to see the woman fed on the injured guards. He then realized. The tirfling had been fedding a vampire? Grinning, he remembered there was somewhat a rivality between Vampires and lycans. But seeing the woman at works and then roar, he sayed out loud. "Hey, that's my kind of woman..." Then as she layed on the last guard, so seductivly, the half-elf tilted his head on the side to have a better look on her, and most particularly on her butt."Really, but really my type of woman." Don't ever think me soft, lycan. Or shall we see how soft I am after a cleave your head from your shoulders? The bard took a back step."Hey, c'me on! Can't you take a joke? I was kidding. She is obviously really interesting."He turn to the beatiful blood sucking woman."Hey, babe! What's you cute lil'name?" Sure she was magnificent, her cruelty add more charm to the kill. She was definitly his type. if ever theres a way i can repay you...name it Brahms eyes widened. The half-elf got interested more and more. He pointed at the woman more to point out her sentence."See? See what i was talking about? Hehehe, i know one who will have a wild night of action. Man, that i envy you!" He was kidding of course. Half of it... Now, what do you want? Brahms was now serious. When it comes to the guild, the half-elf was always serious."Hey, It's not what i want, but what Divschatten wants. They told me to bring you two to the headquarters. We got a meeting...I mean you got a meeting."He was still too low to be a guild member, he had to make his proof. Watch him carefully, lycan. This one smells like trouble...The demon inside the werewolf warn. What are you talking about? That's Fehade's style. Then just stay on your guards.Taezon says.Huh? Why? But the fiend stayed silent. What was going on? |

Exiting the bar, Darhk made his way onto the city streets. It was mostly quiet, let a few guards taking their shift and the occasional street cat or crow making a ruckus. It was dark, but the young thief didn't mind. He preferred darkness to light, as it felt more like home to him. Darhk wasn't quite sure of his heritage, though he assumed he was at least a vampire due to the fact that he thirsted for blood every week or so. The young man also assumed he was something else, something even more unique than the average citizen of Imythess, or perhaps the entire world. The closest guard eyed down Darhk, though tried to hide his suspicions with statuesque pose and lack of movement. The young man glared back, causing the guard to realize he had been caught looking. Darhk hadn't cared much, though, as he had been judged since the day he awoken in the alleyway. The moonlight poured across the city, leaving plenty of shadows in the alleyways and corners of the streets. Darhk enjoyed these nights the most, as the disproportional light helped him in sneaking past guards and into homes. However, the young thief had already plundered a few homes that night, which was why he was at the bar. There was celebration for a very successful night of raiding. Looking around for a moment, Darhk seemed to see a blurry figure in the distance, within an alleyway. "Fellow thief, perhaps?" he said to himself, making his way towards whatever it might be. As he got closer, Darhk made his way onto the nearby rooftop and looked down upon the figure he had seen before. It happened to be a group of different people "Odd group..." he commented to himself, though it came out in his speech. Covering his mouth quickly, the young thief jumped away from the ledge of the roof and ducked down. He would most likely be heard. |

Erolam heard a sound, turning his head to the rooftops. He leaned over towards the werewolf at his side. “There's somebody else present. I won't stray far, but don't look for me.” Erolam grinned and looked back to the rooftops. 'It's certainly been a while since I've traveled the Thieves Highway' He thought to himself, referring to the rooftops as such for the advantage of mobility and a good hiding place from the rest of the city. While guards and such were forced to run the streets, thieves could run across alleyways and such, given they knew how. Erolam made his way around the building, to and intricately forged iron ladder. He climbed up, scouting the rooftops. He could not see much, his eyesight was terrible. He listened for any giveaway sounds, the beat of a heart or the drawing of breath. He could hear little sounds, coming from the other side of the rooftop. Erolam gave a wily grin and strode his way across the roof, hooves clicking. He spotted a small form, crouched down. It was most likely a thief. “Well, I see you've seen our little... Group. Tell me, why would you be out so late at night? Or are you accustomed to such darkness?” He smiled again, teeth flashing. He crossed his black arms and waited his answer, studying the man. He himself was a thief, but not a very good one. He was not made for the job, his psyche was more leaned towards the violent and cruel side, not for the shadows of the homes of others. He was merely waiting for the right time to begin his studies into the darker magics, practiced by sorcerers. The thought of such spells appealed to him greatly, imagining the suffering he could inflict, as well as the upper hand in melee combat. |

Miralay enjoyed feeling Fehades finger moving down her jaw, the slight caress made her shiver in pleasure. He sure did know how to use his fingers... suddenly the man became cold again and turned his attention towards the lycan. She felt disapointed, she wasnt the center of atention anymore. Luckily he seemed pissed at the others, wich made it a little more fun, she was curiopus to see how this would turn off. "The guild gives me some allies, and thats what I need. The goal is to get power, but you sometimes need allies to help with some things." Whispered Fehade. Miralays lips slowly moved into a nice smile. If it is an ally and power your looking for...i gladly help you. She licked her lips in anticipation as her eyes gazed at these beautiful men that where obviously all fro the same guild. if you would be so inclined as to...how to say...let me joinyour little...club, i would gladly be your partner...no matter the place as she spoke her body slightly rubed itself against the half demon...she then turned her head around and winked to the others... If i like you enough...this can be valide for you to...half-elf. she was disapointed that one of the men here had left, but it seemed he had not gone far. Somehow this guild reallycaught her atention. Was it because it was filled with evil beings? filled with strong beings? filled with hot men? or all the above.....she wondered. |

There's somebody else present. I won't stray far, but don't look for me. Brahms nooded. He had heard his foot steps. Since his ears were slightly better then anyone else because of his lycanthropy. He let his new ally disappear into shadows and he looked back to the others. if you would be so inclined as to...how to say...let me joinyour little...club, i would gladly be your partner...no matter the place The half-elf grinned."Hey, if you let me choose your place. You may like it..or should i say, enjoy it?"He cuold not help but think about weird ideas. Well, after all it was her fault, her behavior. If she was acting this way and badly reacting at that comment it was not the lycan's fault. If i like you enough...this can be valide for you to...half-elf. He raised an eyebrow and widened his smile."Really? But you still did not name yourself. I'm Brahms, some knows me as wildheart. At your service, mylady."He bowed to the nymph. If she was ready to obey to join the guild, he would not mind. Though, he would be a little mad if she is granted access at the first try. |

"Just finished work," Darhk said, lifting himself out of the shadows. "My, I thought you were human from far away. You look a bit...different." The young thief, though he should have probably been scared, only moved closer to the man. "Why are you and your pals stalking in the alleyways, anyways? Believe me, I wouldn't say anything to the guards if it was illegal. Actually..." Darhk grinned. "I wouldn't mind joining if a gold or two were involved." Darhk didn't really seem to get along with average folk, though others that were different than the norm seemed attracted to his odd personality. The young thief was pushed by greed, and he allowed it to control his life. He moved from one goal to another, all leading to a chance for more money. Darhk often found the deepest, most complex, and most dangerous schemes to be the most rewarding. "Everyone could always use another hand, right?" Darhk continued, now completely out of the shadows. "Why don't you let me in on what you guys were doing down there? Perhaps I wouldn't mind helping out if you needed it." |

((OOC: Since so many people joined my topic, I think it would be good to have a posting order, so it leaves time for everyone to get a chance to post. If no one has any objections, this is how the posting order will go: Fehade Erolam Miralay Darhk Brahms)) "Hey, It's not what i want, but what Divschatten wants. They told me to bring you two to the headquarters. We got a meeting...I mean you got a meeting." Fehade mumbled a curse under his breath. Now he did somewhat agree with Rraezanon, but he did need allies, for his future plan, oh well, he had ways of making this work. He looked at Brahms, Fehade's eyes still seemed to show complete annoyance. "When is this meeting taking place?" Fehade asked, his voice cold. If it is an ally and power your looking for...i gladly help you. He cocked his head slightly to the girl, a thin smile on his face. "People have got to earn my trust, girl. That means you too, even if your a beauty." Fehade said. His head snapped up to look at the roofs. He heard a voice. His gaze went to the other tiefling, who walked off, probably to look for the source. He looked at the lycan, wanting an answer. if you would be so inclined as to...how to say...let me joinyour little...club, i would gladly be your partner...no matter the place He felt her body touch his, and a slight smirk went on his face, then he sighed. "If you want to join the guild, then I have no real say in the matter. It is up to the leader of the guild." He said, his voice became hollow, and his eyes darkened. "You don't need more allies. Theres plenty of people in the guild. I don't even see your point to get some allies." The demon infused whispered again in Fehade's head. "You wouldn't, Rraezanon. He answered this time in his head also, not wanted to seem odder talking to himself more and more. "Really? But you still did not name yourself. I'm Brahms, some knows me as wildheart. At your service, mylady." He did wonder what the girls name was, though, before, she had said she couldn't remember. His curiosity seemed to grow. "Be careful around this woman." The demon warned. The tiefling shifted slightly, then glanced about, thinking he felt the presence of Hakri, but knowing his father the demon was stay hidden until Fehade was alone. He sighed silently, and hoped it was just a false feeling. ((OOC: blah, sorry if this doesn't seem like the greatest post...)) |

Erolam smiled at the Thieve's naivete. He seemed so comfortable in his presence, whereas others would be scared out of their wits of the large, black skinned, black eyed, hooved being. Perhaps the thief was braver than he gave credit for. Or just foolish. My, I thought you were human from far away. You look a bit...different Erolam laughed openly in his harsh, gravelly voice. "Perhaps from a very long ways. If you haven't noticed, i have hooves." He smiled. This one had a sense of humor he liked. He frowned at the man's next comment. "You do realize that i am not in charge of the happenings of our... little group. There is much more happening tonight than you seem to think." He looked to the moon. He remembered the necklace around his neck. He reached into his shirt and pulled it off. He stared at the metal gleaming in the moonlight and tightened his grip on it. Looking out to the city, he reached back and hurled it, sending it across the rooftops. He thought of this singular action as his retirement from theivery, and on to a life more fitting. |

The dark lady moved back slightly disapointed. She would need to meet this guildmaster if she wanted Fehade. And she did want the man. How could she gain the trust of such a man thought? he was cold and harsh...she liked that but getting him to trust her wouldnt be easy. She looked at the half elf...he seemed to be part of the guild also, since fehade was busy, maybe this man could help her get an audiance withthe great guild master. Hey you up there with the longs ears! since you seem to be heading back to your guildie, mind if i tag along? Our friend here seems busy, but you seem available. I would like to meet this leader of yours... She suddenly realised they didnt know her name... my name is Miralay...but you can call me darling she gave the men a charming wink. |

Darhk turned sharply as the pendant flew over his head, turning back towards the half-fiend once it was thrown. "Why did you do that?" the thief asked, looking out again. "That could have worth a lot of money..." His voice drifted off into a mumble, though the vampire turned to face the man once again. Darhk smiled, remembering the humanoid's comment. "You all looked like humans from far away," he responded, his voice holding sarcastic tone. "Of course I can tell now that none of you are humans. I find that better, though. Humans aren't one of my favorite creatures." Looking at the half-fiend's demonic features, the young thief spoke again. "What do I seem to think?" he asked. "How far do you think my mind is able to go in order to contemplate what you could possibly be planning? Like I said, I want some money. If you're plans are as intricate and secret as you say, there must be some sort of cash involved. Again, it's not like I have anyone to tell about some sort of 'evil scheme' of any sort. I dislike the guards far more than a couple of suspicious folk walking around town, you know?" Darhk took another step, making the distance between the two a little above a yard. "Come on," Darhk edged on, his voice becoming convincing. "What could the harm of one more ally bring?" |

When is this meeting taking place? Since when Fehade was THAT cold towards Brahms? He had awlays been cold but not that much. If it was because the half-elf was not a full member yet, the tiefling coud have been at his coldest since the beginning. So, the bard crossed his arms. "As soon as everyone is there, not asking questions about it." The lyacan was really starting to get annoyed by that kind of atttitude. -If it is an ally and power your looking for...i gladly help you. -People have got to earn my trust, girl. That means you too, even if your a beauty. -f you would be so inclined as to...how to say...let me joinyour little...club, i would gladly be your partner...no matter the place -If you want to join the guild, then I have no real say in the matter. It is up to the leader of the guild. It seems that the vampire wanted to join the guild also. He hoped that she would not gain faster then him, that would be really insulting. Only because she could pleased men easily would mean that. The werewolf knew that vampires were troubles. It should be interesting to see how much it's going to affect the team. Hey you up there with the longs ears! since you seem to be heading back to your guildie, mind if i tag along? Our friend here seems busy, but you seem available. I would like to meet this leader of yours... Raising a eyebrow, Brahms stared at her. Now he was Fehade susbtitute? He would not mind to have some feminine company towards the guild hall, atleast if he could get some fun out of it. He looked at the tiefling, and then at the nymph. "There is only one requirement that you will be asked to have: Be demon-infused, or have demonic origins. Until then it's you who serves under us. I am demon-infused, so you got to obey till we meet the guildmaster, and Fehade and Erolam, the guy who was there sooner, are higher then me. Better show proper...Devotion.[/b]" He had a wide smile on his face, showing up a bit of his canine. my name is Miralay...but you can call me darling Brahms grinned."Nice to meet you, darling. But we will go since someone had something more important to do then go back to the place where he belong." He had raised his voice to make sure the tiefling could hear him and then turned around. He passed the building where the other tiefling was with another guy"Kill that guy, Erolm. We are going. We had wasted enough time![/b] |

my name is Miralay...but you can call me darling He glanced at Miralay, but decided not to say anything, but he was a bit curious as to why she didn't know her name when she was hungry. Probably a vampire thing he didn't know. His gaze returned to Brahms, and his red eyes flashed a strange near orange color almost like a inner fire. "As soon as everyone is there, not asking questions about it." That answer didn't suit the tiefling, he considered snapping out at the lycan to give a better answer, but decided against it, it wouldn't be good to ruin anything, and get another enemy. He bite his tongue hard to keep from lashing out. He stayed silent as Brahms spoke to Miralay. He was getting a little impatient. He wanted to get Mara's job done, well, at least the one he has to in Taras. He supposed it shouldn't take long, if it didn't lead to his sister Zémire. He sighed silently, then walked off a little ways, and looking both ways of the street, wondering where Evier was. He then whistle, a loud sharp piercing noise. In response to his whistle, there was a neigh of a horse in the distance, then the clattering of horse hooves. Then, the nightmare horse Evier ran down towards Fehade. The tiefling stood still, even if it looked like the horse would trample him, but the nightmare skidding to a stop in the last second. The horse was dark, and had a saddle on it, attached to the saddle was a pack, then a morningstar, and a couple swords. Fehade walked to the side of the horse and mounted it, then patted the horses neck and leaned close. "Have any idea where Nzalalih and Rozpalsariel are?" He whispered to the horse, who stomped her hoof on the ground. He straightened up. "Nice to meet you, darling. But we will go since someone had something more important to do then go back to the place where he belong." He gave Brahms a thin smile, his red eyes seemed to dull. "Dangerous thing to say, Brahms, especially around me." He said, his voice was cold, and seeming to be snake like. He looked up towards the other tiefling. Erolam. No, Fehade hasn't met him, but at least he now knows the name. He hoped the meeting will go quick, but he also wondered what it was about. He looked at the buildings nearby, suddenly feeling slightly uneasy. A familiar feeling seemed to cross him, and it annoyed him. It wasn't the unholy like aura like Mara has, but a different one, one of someone good. He narrowed his eyes. "Zehavya's near. Thats whats it is. We should leave this city now." Rraezanon hissed. Fehade cocked his head slightly, then shook his head a little. No... even if I can't break the spell, there are others who could kill her. If she comes, they can kill her. It would be nice to have that aasimar out of the way... Fehade thought. "But the point for revenge is to take it out yourself." the pit fiend said. It is my father I want revenge on. Zehavya was not the one who brought the whip down, it was Hakri... he thought, and the infused stayed quiet. "Brahms... keep an eye out for trouble. I sense a demon hunter about." Fehade said, but said the last part a bit quietly. It was Crackle who started it. If Fehade just let his family kill his half-sister, then he wouldn't have been banished from the demon family. Fehade supposed he was once softer at heart, for saving his half-sisters life, but he never really knew why he even did it, it was a foolish thing. His family could have been the most feared out there, but now it seemed the family was crumbling. His mother was dead, his sister missing, obviously hiding from Hakri, and his half-sister a part celestial, who was always an outcast, and him, the only son, but was banished. He looked at Miralay, a smirk played across his face. She was beautiful, more beautiful then anything he's ever seen any way. He looked ahead then, into the darkness. "How come you couldn't remember your name when I asked who you were?" He asked. Might as well learn something that might be useful. |

Erolam smiled as the thief exclaimed at his throwing away of the necklace. "Consider it a retirement from my life as a thief. I've been wanting to do that for a long time now. About time i did. Thieve's life doesn't suit me." He looked back happily at the young human. The money did not matter to him, he would get it when the time came. Until then, meterial possessions meant nothing to him. As the boy asked about the harms of a new friend, he merely smiled mysteriously and gave one of his famous one word speeches. "Betrayal." He looked the boy in the eyes and grinned, unnerving to most. His eerie eyes were hardly useful anymore, for little more than getting a point across and intimidation. The looker into them would find themselves reflected, framed by the golden ring in his eye. He closed them and took in a deep breath, releasing it slowly. "You must prove yourself. Be sure of your intentions. There is not much gold to be gained, but there is much bloodshed." He winked at the vampire, having noticed the traits. to many, especially those whom were not knowledgeable to the race, they were hard to identify. Near impossible unless they wanted you to know. But he had encountered them before, out on the battlefield, where he had obtained a rather nasty cut from a vampire's blade. Not having been given the blood, or infected too badly, he had merely grown an a slighlty addictive taste for blood, as well as a dislike of sunlight. As brahms called up from the street, he laughed again. He was sure the vampire had heard the half elf, but Erolam cared not. He was being given orders from one who was not even in the guild, not nearly above him in rank. "I have no such intentions. fear not." He merely gestured down to the streets, climbing down the side a little ways before jumping the rest, landing hard. He stood up and began towards the others. "Follow if you wish. but hurry in any case." He said to the thief. "Shall we join them?" |
