| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Celebriel's sharp eyes did not miss the fact that some people were looking at her. She at least appriciated the fact that the man seemed to try not to stare, that was a change. She took the last sip of her tea and got up. She made her way back to the bar and returned the cup. The bar tender quickly took it and dissapeared again. He like many other she had met, did not seem to want to remain in her sight long. Her features seemed to have that effect on people. She then made her way over to the inn keeper. She flashed as friendly of a smile as she could with her long pointed teeth. "Good evening sir," she said is a melodic voice which could only come from an elven heritage. "I would like to request some logging for the evening." The inn keeper looked at her stunned for a few moments before straighening himself up. He seemed to be trying to make himself look bigger, and more imposing, which was a little difficult to do with the half-dragon stand a few feet away. "I don't want your kind here. It is bad enough you are in my tavern, I don't want you staying the night, demoness," he said as powerfully as he could. But his voice quivered, he was afraid. Celebriel narrowed her eyes and a soft annoyed growl emenated from her throat. "I am no demon," she said in a low but unthreatening voice. "And if you were not blinded by predejuce you would see that I mean your, or any other human harm. I merely wish for a place to lay my head for the night." She tried to remain perfectly calm, but her long tail lashing back and forth betrayed the fact that she was agitated. Once again, she was being judge for the heritage she could not change. |

Alice watched this as it happened, then she looked at her friends. "I think I will go to my room now, I will see you in the morning, have a nice night" she smiled, then she stood up from her chair and began to walk towards the inn keeper. I merely wish for a place to lay my head for the night." Alice arrived right after this, she shook her head, it was not nice to do that. "Demoness? It is not very nice to say that" she said and looked at the inn keeper. "I don´t see anything demonic about this woman, I would have to tell you that Dragons was looked at as very noble creatures, but now that have been turned to fear and hate." he voice was calm as if she was talking about the weather. "But never mind me, I would like to have the room you promised please" The inn keeper looked at her for a moment, then he nodded. "O-o-of course madame" he quickly picked up a small hey and gave it to her. Alice smiled, then she slowly moved her hand in a circle, but she made sure that none could see what she did. The inn keeper, shook his head and placed one hand on his forehead, then it looked like he remembered something, he picked up anather key from his belt and gave it to Menelanna. "Here is your key miss, that would be 5 gold for the night." This was very odd since the man had changed without no reason. Alice nodded, then she looked at the half dragon. "Have a nice night stranger" Then she walked past her up the stair to the upper floor, she soon arrived to her room and opened it, she made sure to close and lock the door behind her. Then she walked and sat down on the bed, it was a simple room but it was clean and nice in many ways. ((Yay I love the Memory spell)) |

Celebriel stared at Alice in shock. No had ever stood up for her like that. What surprised her more was when the inn keeper handed her a key. "Uh...right...5 gold. Here you go," she managed to say. She took the key and headed up the stairs to her room, her clawed feet scratching softly on the wooden floor. She managed caught up to the girl that had helped her. "Thank you," she said kindly. "No had ever defended me like that." She looked around nervously, she was not use to talking to other people, "Well...uh...sleep well. Again thank you." With that she turned and open the door to her bedroom and stepped inside. As tired as she was she did not go to bed immidately. Instead she sat on the edge of the bed and dirfted into thought. Was this the beginning of being accepted? Would someone finally see her for who she truely was, and not judge her on appearence? She sighed, no questions would be answered tonight. The half-dragon pulled back the covers of the bed and laid down. She closed her saphire eyes and soon was fast asleep. |

Alice had been looking at the hlaf-dragon when she talked to her, she had been smiling. "Why it was nothing dear, all should be accepted, and what I said was true, since my old master was one of your kind, have a nice night." That happened before Alice walked into her room, she sat on the bed, thinking to herself, then she stood up and began to undress herself, when she was done she removed the covers and laid down, it was very nice to sleep in a bed again. The woman closed her eyes, then she feel asleep. This had been a very intresting day, and the next one could be to. |
