| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

((OOC: I have no idea why I'm writing this, but it is outside the library, not in it yet.)) The streets of the city were busy, bustling with a life she didn’t and couldn’t share. She wasn’t like any of them… she wasn’t and she didn’t want to be. She may be a strange mix of things, things that shouldn’t be able to exist, but she did and she was here and now… instead she lived with demons and befriended angels… why and how it all happened was something she had never really worried about and now was not the time to start. She had learned a lot though and she intended to learn more. The library was her goal, but she wasn’t looking for any useful bits of information, she was going to find herself a different library. She had heard there was one in the Academy of Magic, but she had no idea what this place was or even where it was. So why not go to the Taras Library to find out about it? She was looking up things that were harder to deal with; souls, angels, demons, and blood… She didn’t really look that part though. She looked half-elven to most, like a tiefling to even fewer. With her deep wine colored hair done in many braids it was hard to see her ears though. She had left it down today and was dressed in a plain brown soft leather bodice with a matching leather skirt with a bit of an elven cast to it. There were leaves etched into the leather in a few places and the stitching was all but invisible. It was also split up both sides all the way up with a bit of lacing on her hips and on the sides of the bodice. It was some elegant lacing though, in green that matched the sheath of the elven blade at her side. She was also wearing a more full green skirt under the leather one, a shade darker then the green lacing. It’s edge a bit dusty where it showed under the edge of the leather skirt from the streets. The only thing beside the single blade on her hip was a small pouch set slightly forward from the blade. What she really was hoping for was the slim chance of finding Seele. He had taught her so very much about magic that she was honestly hoping to see him in this city where she had first met him. She doubted it though. It was just outside the library that AD saw a young boy who seemed rather upset about something. She hesitated, her steps faltering. Should she stop? Aether Draka took two more steps before turning to find out what was wrong, her curiosity urging her forward even with her goal in sight. Well, the library wasn’t going anywhere, was it? |

((OOC: Hello, I´m joining in here. :P)) "Where is that book" Alice muttered to herself as she walked down the many shelfes inside of the library. "It has to be here, but we can´t find it" The womans sighed, she had been inside of this place forever, or it feelt like that but of course she had only been there for about two hours now. "We have to calm down or we will never find anything, that book is not important to us anyway, we could come back anather day. We are really tired of this place, let´s go out." Alice began to walk towards the exit out from the library, she made sure to keep an eye around herself all the time, she could never be sure that she was safe, not even in this calm place.....it was so quiet, to quiet. "Never like the library anyway." she said to herself. She arrived to the doors out from the building, she tunred around and looked back inside, she made sure none was watching her, then she walked out. Outside she took a deep breath. "Fresh air, no more of those dusty old books" she said and laughed, then she noticed that a young boy was infront of the library and that he looked upset over something, not that Alice cared about it very much, but this could be a good time to make someone more insane, childern was often much easier to affect then grown up people, since childern often had a very great imagination, to great for there own good. Alice smiled to herself. First she had to maka contact with this boy, but how? |

Feeling a bit put out about this entire thing, AD went ahead and walked up to the boy. "Is everything alright?" She asked carefully. "No, no... my little sister was coming with me to the library with me and I looked away for a signal moment and she's gone! Mom is going to kill me if I can't find her! You have to help me, please!" He said to her and AD paused to think about it. Moms killed their children? Suddenly AD was glad she didn't know her parents, nor did she really want to. "She probably got board and went ahead. Lets go look inside first, alright?" She offered her hand and he took a hold of it. She then went up the last few steps and went for the door. She saw a young girl there but she didn't seem to be old enough to be a little sister. As she got closer AD decided to ask him what his sister looked like. Much to her annoyance he had to stop and explain it to her. "Well she is this tall," he held up his hand somewhere beside him, not really stopping anywhere to let her know how tall his sister was, and then his hands kept moving as he talked. "She loves her red dress and will wear it with her hair pulled back in a bow, but she isn't wearing that today. Mom won't let her wear her red dress 'cept for special occasions. She is wearing her normal clothing today, the one with the tear on the hem of it. She might have her necklace on too, I don't remember though as it was probably tucked in." That description was useless for AD. All she now knew was that he was looking for a girl with a tear on some hem of her outfit and who might be wearing a necklace. She fit that description, and from all she knew so did most others around here. She took a breath and then asked in a level tone, "What's her name?" |

Alice moved a little to the side when AD walked inside with the young boy, she calmly followed them with her eyes listening to what they said. My that one is good at telling about what things look like the voice said inside of her head, she smiled a little to herself. It looked like staying inside of the library was not a very bad ide after all, because things was starting to look a little brighter. She walked back inside to see how this would turn out. She smiled and walked to the two strangers. Excuse me, but you look like you could use some help. she said to them with a sweet smile on her face. |
