| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Just 2 for now, but there should be more coming. ![]() The first one is available in Death's Kiss. It is a horrible spell, and an epic one with only 5 in stock. Very mean. ![]() Name: Curse of Betrayal Effects: This spell is cast in moments of hatred, bitterness, and spite. It causes the target of the spell to betray someone she loves, either by action or inaction. It must be cast during the hours of darkness. The ritual involves two hours of chanting, the shedding of blood and speaking of the targets name. The effects are not immediate and may be delayed for days - even years. However when the targeted character is next in a position involving the safety of someone whom she loves or whom she is honor-bound to obey, the curse will then come into effect. Usually the spell will either blind or deafen the target at a critical moment. Battle orders may be misheard, the identity of another combatant may be tragically mistaken, or a plea for help may go unnoticed. Whatever the case, terrible tragedy for the loved one will result. Note: (This is something that should be discussed beforehand if the target is another Player-Character. The spell is more or less unavoidable and potentially very destructive. When cast on another Player-Character, though, they get to choose who the loved one is that is put at risk (no trying to skip out on it though. It truly must be someone whether an NPC or another PC that is in danger). This spell is designed to provide many interesting role-play situations and is suggested to be used with care.) Buying Price: 150 Selling Price: 75 In Stock: 5 The next one is an earth-type spell, found in Woodlands magic shop. Another nifty one. ![]() ![]() Name: Whispering of the Grasses Effects: With this spell, the caster rouses the very plantlife around him into consciousness to answer his questions. A wind picks up, making the rustle of plantlife into the sound of an audible whisper. The plants will be conscious of what has happened around them, though only in vague visual terms. A bush would be able to describe a warrior wearing red and carrying a sword, but could not neccessarily identify him as the caster's enemy. The spell would last as long as the conversation, however long that takes. The caster may question any nearby grasses, bushes, or trees within ten feet of where he originally cast the spell. Grass will only remember up to a few days back, while herbs and small bushes may remember events from several weeks ago, and trees may remember happenings from years or even centuries ago. Exposing open flame near the plants will make them extremely nervous, and constantly request it be put out while they talk. Buying Price: 100 Selling Price: 50 In Stock: 5 Enjoy! Feats are almost finished! I just need to refine them a bit more. Look for them sometime this week... taking much longer than I expected.

I actually plan on adding a pretty wicked fire one... It's entitled Atrocious Fire Transformation. And it's about as mean as Curse of Betrayal. |

I'd bet the ...sicknasty/cool/totallyawesome/Iw......yeah, that one. Mainly becuase fire would technically be a neutral element, though it tends to be on the wonderfully destructive side....ME WANT IT!!! *Drools and waits* |
