| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Yay! What a fabulous celebration! Everyone crack open your Easter Eggs and see what goodies lie within! Ooo... what cool stuff... ![]() (Oh, and you guys get to keep the Easter Eggs too!) ![]() Green Easter Egg Hatches open to reveal... ![]() Horn of Chicken Summoning Only a few of these were made by a mage who was well-known to be insane. He constructed them as a way to both overwhelm opponents, and to proclaim his love for chickens (it is said his mages tower was more of a chicken coop, and his familiar was a dire chicken). This mage is long gone, but a few of these horns still remain. They are horns made of tarnished brass and usually have a feather or chicken motif along the keys and openings. When the bearer of one of these horns blow into it and play three short notes (which sounds suspiciously of a crowing rooster), it magically summons a seemingly endless swarm of angry chickens. These chickens only attack, and can perform no other function. They do not attack the summoner, but rather dissipate after their duration is up. If not attacking, they simply hang around and do chicken-y things (cluck, scratch, crow, eat, etc.). The total number of chickens summoned is 50. These chickens cannot be killed, but do dissipate when they would otherwise be 'killed'. They disappear in a burst of feathers. The chickens remain for a total of ten minutes before disappearing. Where the chickens come from is a mystery. ![]() White Easter Egg Hatches open to reveal a... ![]() Angelic Bunny Rabbits of a magical nature, they hail from the rabbit fields of Celestia. Though they are called angelic, they are not always necessarily good, due to the fact that they are only a little more intelligent than their non-magic cousins. They are extremely cute, however. Their fur is prized for it's silken texture and they all have a pair of small white feathered wings with which to hover and fly short distances with (they are poorly suited for flying). ![]() Black Easter Egg Hatches open to reveal a... ![]() Demonic Bunny Of the same line as the Angelic Rabbits, these demonic brethren are both much different and much the same. They are not enormously intelligent, but they do tend to have a mean streak, along with sharper fangs than most rabbits. They always have shining black fur and a small pair of black bat or demon's wings. These little guys also frequently have a pair of small nubs for horns jutting from their head. Despite their strangely cute, but fierce appearance, they are just as likely to enjoy being cuddled and pet as a normal rabbit would. ![]() Gold Easter Egg Hatches open to reveal a... ![]() Pile of Gold! You receive 150 gold pieces! Cha-ching! |
