| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Gregory's Description Name: First Name Gloat Last Name WarBeard Class Berserker Race dwarven Image ![]() Alignment True Neutral Character Flaws: One-Eye Gloat is an experienced close-combat warrior. His family blood flows thick in his veins, and in his bold, reckless acts during battle, one act caused him to lose an eye. This hinder's his depth perception, but does not greatly set him back as a fighter. Judgemental What Gloat see's is what it is. When people tell Gloat never to judge a book by it's cover, he tells them he doesn't read. First appearances are usually everything for Gloat, and he will judge you on your appearance almost solely, seeming incapable of changing his opinion. Over-Confident Dwarves are the best fighters in the world, or so he would tell you. He believes that he is superior to everyone close up, and even those far away he copuld take down when he catches them. At least, that's what he likes to think. Proud As a dwarven warrior, Gloat has some minor issues with his size, as most do. He would sooner die than admit this, but if anyone dares to help him because of it, it is obviously out of pity, and mere humans are below the ranks of dwarf. Dwarves pity the humans, if anything! Character Feats: Cleave Dwarves are renowned for their fierce combat and strength. Although small, these people can easily be stronger than humans, and are often more fierce in the heat of battle. Although small and relatively slow, a direct blow from Gloat could deal huge amounts of damage. Endurance Yet another Dwarven trait advantageous for battle, Gloat has build up thick skin. You can cut him to ribbons, but he will refuse to die until he is bled like a stuck pig or dealt a killing blow. This feat has allowed Gloat to go on using powerful strikes for long amounts of time without facing exhaustion.
