| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

It was an hour after dawn in Imythess, dew still was on the ground and covered the grass as a young woman walked through the park. Her hair was done in the fancy bun that she always had, her left hand held the familiar rose that was common known to those who seen her before. Her dress brushed the ground as she walked towards the bench in the center. Children had already started to run around and play. She sighed as she sat down on the bench, the tree near her shaded her as she examined her rose. It was a fresh one, still a bud but a rose none the less. Those who knew about her said she was blessed because flowers rarely died around her. But those who knew her family knew she was one who was haunted, she relaxed knowing that if he was to find her she would be ready. She heard the laughter of children and found them crowding around a ball throwing it to eachother while their parents began the day. She smiled knowing they would never have to face her problems. Suddenly she heard somone approaching behind her and she turned to see who it was. |

Hymwen walked into the park leading her horse by the reins. The horse's coat was a dark brown with it's main going down half it's neck. On the horse's saddle was a eagle that was holding it's self on the horn of the saddle. Some children turned towards her looking at the horse and the eagle there eyes wide with amazement, because not everyone has a trained eagle that is safe on top of a horse. Hymwen turned her head at them and smiled. She remembered when she was a carefree child, and she had always loved the wild life, she was a able to mimick the voice of a bird and it would come near her. She had always loved it, and now she is a ranger but a coward, except when she is angry but then she forgets her thoughts and kills when she doesn't like it. The children smiled at her when she smiled and one came up to the horse reaching her hand up, and Hymwen made her horse Frolba bent his head and the child pet the horse then soon ran off to her mother. She turned around and saw a young woman like her sitting on a bench. She walked up the the girl and smiled. "Hello, I saw you sitting here alone and was wondering if you'd like some company." She said casully shifting from foot to foot. |

Kellen, the sweet little village that had for too long forgotten his name. He didn't need a celebration to ruin this time, though with the holidays around the corner there would doubtlessly be some celebrations in the future. Still he could strike again then, afterall pestilence wasn't something that hit once and whent away. No, it was a lengthened torment dragging all slowly into misery and painful death. So what if the other riders weren't ready to play with these mortals, that wouldn't stop Pestilence from working his magic and having his fun. Sweet laughter of children swept up to his sensitive ears on his hideout on the rooftop. Soon their screams of laughter and joy would morph into screams of terror and horror. That too would quickly change into coughing, sputtering, and dying breaths. No, didnt want to make so bad to start, after all wanted more to die from the festival meals he would tamper and poison. Vernon's stench was masked and keep from giving away his big surprise for Kellen. Desite having turned out in his favor in Taras, he didn't want sosme random idiot trying to stop him when he hadn't yet done anything. Softly he mutter to himself the making of his spell. This time he was not going to miscast |
