| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Rozil looked at the ourskirts of the town. He saw that two guards patroled the outside vinicties. The walked, stoped, looked around and went going again. The only way to get in this town was to use his favorite ability. Stealthing. He walked into the shadow of a building, He blended into the darkness, but his eyes were the only problem. He then waved his hand over his eyes and they stoped glowing, makeing him look like a lifeless walking corpse. He then unsheathed his dagger to get it prepared for anything. His hand was cold as death. Anyone he fought, he would take a shot to kenedy. Where he had no organs, he was affected by a kenedy shot. He knew that a blow like that would knock them down, or even kill them. Rozil believed in letting his target suffer, so he took a blow that would let him live for a few minuntes, left to suffer the pain from the blow. His dagger was stained from the shots he always shot at his targets. He was certainly a dangerous competador. Creeping around a cornor, he saw that a few people stood guard, but were completely smashed and tipsy. They were out and were not paying attention. He sunck to the other wall and began creeping down that one. Tonight, he would land another murder. He would murder till he drove these people away. |

Daemion had been following the scent of what he took for undead, for quite awhile now. He had no reason for doing this, other than complete boredom. Ever since 'master' commanded he go to this land and find .. information, Daemion has discovered that humans are a rather boring lot. And they're too easy to kill. Not any fun at all. Daemion knew the scent of undead very well. He was, after all, a recreation of the same creature that guarded the very gates of hell. Death and hell were so very closely related. The cerberus knew this, remembered this. It was a thing etched into his very being. He was lurking in the shadows, Daemion was. His ears twitched at the footsteps of the guards as they passed by him. Humans ... silly things ... they were not even aware of his presence. Canine tail entwined around Daemion's right leg as he stood here. He reflected, wondering if it would be worth the trouble to pounce on a gaurd and kill him. Daemion did need a new weapon. The one his master had given him was rusted and old. Not the best of blades but, it worked for the time being. So, to kill a gaurd or to simply watch as someone else killed them. To steal a sword or just keep with his own for the time being. Hmmm ... decisions, decisons. It was then that a figure turned the corner, and stopped just scarce feet away from Daemion. Daemion, in turn, flicked an ear and turned slightly to face the stranger. This stranger, smelled like some corpse. Daemion supposed it was the same undead being he'd caught scent of before. And with a mixture of curiosity and boredom, Daemion ventured a question. "Only murders and thieves sneak about in the shadows such as you are. Or if they are neither, than they are but fools. So ... tell me. Which are you? All of the above, or simply none of those. And if you are none, enlighten me with what you are." |
