| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Tarì smiled warmly at Adriell. She knew how she was feeling. She remembered the first time she told anyone her past. It had been a very trying experience. Soon she would open up as Tarì had but she needed to know that Tarì and Adrien were trustworthy. Well if you wont tell us about your past then why dont you tell us a little about yourself. What do you like to do? Do you have a job? This way you are still telling us something about you without making yourself feel uncomfortable. |

"Indeed," he who had been watching said, still strumming his guitar. "Do not be afraid of the two of us, I am harmless unless provoked," he said, laughing quietly, "and I think that Tari might just say the same thing..." He wondered if the latter was true, but only slightly. This evening was turning out very nicely, and if he played his cards right, he just might make a few new freinds in the process of entertaining himself. "Perhaps you lovelie ladies would like a drink?" he asked, pulling out a few gold coins and motioning to the barmaid. "If nothing else," he told the two of them, "it may lighten the mood a little." The waitress appears, and ordering a flaggon of mead for himself, he looks to the two ladies to see if either of them want anything... |

Thank you Adrien but I will just have water. The drinks in some of the places around here are heavy on my stomach and we elves dont drink that much... or at least where I am from we dont. She smiled hoping that the mood would lighten. Adrien why dont you play us a little tune. Im sure that would help lighten the mood as well as drinks. Besides you play lovely. |

Adriell smirked some, clearly she hadn't stated enough of herself yet...in truth all she truely knew were the Night mares....She shivered and felt her spine quake. The skin on her arms shifted for a mere second to a spotted print then faded just as quickly. She looked down and then letting her ebony black hair fall into her face some she twitched uncomfortably. "I...I like to Hunt..."She said softly... her eyes viewed images that those in the real world would never see. The flashes of blood redden faces... The screams of horror echoed in her ears. She let her eyes slide shut and pushed away the memories she still couldn't grasp firmly. She sighed out deeply silver vapors glittered in her breath and she looked up. "Sorr-Sorry what?" She asked as if having come from a trance. "Oh...Drink ...no I am not a good one with liquors. "She stammered stumbling over her words. "Yes...Tari, Adrien You should play a tune to take our minds from these hard mem..Times..." |

Thinking deep thoughts, he ordered freshly boiled and chilled water for the lovely elf, and began playing one of his favorite tunes for the other lovely lady in his presence. It was a wonderfully sad epic, the words that accompanied could just as easily make one cry as give them a joyous heart. Thankfully however, this tune was a particurally old one, and the words had been forgotten by most everyone, and definitely no one here should know them. He hoped that the tunes unspoken joy of the two lovers finally uniting would lighten in particular the heart of this sad maiden who had dripped her way into his and Taris conversation. Drawing the tune to a close, he sips from his cup, and eyes the other two of his party. "So, what did you two think of the tune?" he asks hopefully. "It speaks to the heart, does it not? The way the two chords blend together at the end, giving it a finality of peace on earth, and love for all..." Perhaps this was asking too much from the ladies, but he truly did hope that they could sense the great feeling with which he played this song. It had special meaning to him, for it had been the favorite song of his first true love. |

Adriell's seeming lack of focus confused Tarì. What was bothering this girl to have her so out of focus of every thing? Tarì closed her eyes as Adrien began to play. She forgot about the water in front of her as the music washed over her in waves. The music was so moving it brought tears to her eyes, her body rocked with emotion. She had never heard such a magnifesent peice in all her life. When he finished it took her a few moments to compose herself. Adrien that was lovly. I have never been so moved by music. |

Looking up slightly and releiving the poor spot in the table cloth he had been burning a hole into, he turned to Tari. "Thank you," he said lightly. "That has always been a favorite peice of mine and my... Of mine" he said, stumbling over the words. Looking for further comment on his most precious tune, he looked to Adriell. "What did you think M'lady?" It seemed as if his eyes were tearing up, and if someone had been paying attention, they would have seen a quick golden flash course through them. He blinked his eyes hurredly, and began playing a new song to avert attention away from the odd colors. |

Adriell's eyes fell on Adrien and she blinked listening ever so silent. But before she could answer he had averted the attention. She smiled some and looked down to the table. Her mind rambling on thoughts and spells she was to learn. She sighed and looked up her eyes taking in everything their white hue seemed ghostly still. She smiled though and sat back in her chair. Her hair was begining to dry and her cloths were almost dried already. She fiddled with her hands and let their ebony color tapp against the wood. "It was lovely Sir Adien." She says looking at Tari confused as to why the elf was alone... She realized this now...after so many moments of sitting here. Why was she alone...why was she not in the jess of other of her own kin. She shrugged the thought off and brushed her fingers through her long black hair trying to help it dry. She watched the windows though and saw the rain was still pouring. |

Tarì's attention wasnt in the inn. She had been lost in thought for after Adrien started playing again. She was looking at her hands folded neatly in her lap and thinking of how her life had changed in the past month. Everything had been so together. Now as she looked at her life she felt like a butterfly stuck in a terrible wind storm not able to get control over the direction that she was going. It was a sad though but the mood of the table wasnt a very happy one. They all seemed to be broding on something or another. Sighing she looked out the window at the rain streaked streets. |

Looking around, he noticed that Tari was watching the water droplets on the window. "I hope it stops soon," he said suddenly, resting his guitair in his lap. "I wasnt really looking to come in here, I just wantd to escape the night..." "What of you two?" he asked curiously. "What brought you both out into the rain tonight?" |
