| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Taure had finally found his way out of the Debon Plains. After spending days in the middle of nowhere, he figured the best way to get reaquainted with civilization, was a visit to the Village of Kellen. Taure knew it was famed for its horses, and the townsfolk were almost always cheery, but on this day, it seemed to have just recovered from a devastating attack. From what Taure could tell, it seemed to be one by fire. "Who would do such a horrid thing? This village has done nothing to harm anyone in the past." Taure thought to himself, as he looked around. Taure noticed some were helping to rebuild things, other mourned for their lost, and some were in disbeleif that such a thing could occur to their village. "Whoever did this, should pay!" He said to himself, angered by the stupidity of others. "I better help them out..." Taure thought, as he walked over to a group of people who were cleaning up rubble. ((Its a little short, but I'm in a hurry. I g2g, but I'll be back on in an hour or so. BTW, its after Layila, or whatever her name is, burned down part of Kellen. I didn't read the entire topic on that, but you know, the aftermath of what happened.)) |

Slayer had came back to Kellen from the little incident a few weeks back. He came back but kept his ID a seceret. Though he meant no harm this time and wouldnt do what he had done again. He had walked around and noticed a new man had come in to town. Slayer would go up to him to see if he needed any assistance, but the man seemed to be just fine. Slayer thought of making himself noticable and visible to the man from time to time. He walked past by him and gave him a dirty look and kept walking past him. As he kept walking Slayer looked behind him and looked at him again. Slayer went up to some renewed steps that the ppl of Kellen just finished making, he waited there and waited just watching ppl work really hard. He thought of leaving but then he didnt feel like it. He wanted to stay a little longer for some reason. Though Slayer kept a suspicious look on his face on purpose. He sat there untill a while later he got up and went up to the new man in town, "Hey! Do you need anyhelp?" Slayer needed to hang out with someone bad, otherwise he would grow bored and burn the town again. |

Taure had been helping the people of Kellen by salvaging all the good wood, to help restore some of the burnt down buildings, and discarding all the wood that was worthless, and too burnt to be able to build anything again. But as Taure was doing this, he noticed a man who seemed to repeatedly passi Taure by, as he walked around the town. Taure was suspicious of the man. He had once heard from someone, that a criminal always returns to the scene of the crime, and had a good idea that this was the one who had cause the chaos, or atleast help in some way, but Taure would have to find out later. As for now, Taure tried hard not to confront the man, and ask him why he was at Kellen, because he was almost positive that such a man like he was not from this area. "Patience... All I need is a little patience..." He thought to himself, annoyed at the man. Taure made it look like he payed no attention to him, but as he picked a piece of burnt lumber from the ground, he heard someone's voice. "Yes, help would be nice." Taure said, trying to be polite, but his voice was almost angered. He turned to confront who it was that had spoken, and found that it was the man he had seen, walking around town. |
