Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

Zero saw Zorgn attacking Jarreth, while he was doing that Zero took off and help Anya recover her broken bones, "Hey Anya are you ok. Hey I gotta do this quick." a shiny holy aura around his hand glowed as the bones recovered.
For now he had to go back and help Zorgn out as Zero was a nuetral fighter now. He was on whose ever side he felt like, though he would not betray Anya and Fayt.
"Hey Anya your doing good ok, just keep it up, and make direct hits on her. Keep fighting. Ok." Zero had ran back to Zorgn to help him fight Jarreth.

((OOC: hey Zorgn that cursing is funny as hell. *dies laughing and has a tear dropping down his cheek* that was so hilarious hahahahha)))

Anya looked at Zero. You stay alive ok? She then turned her attention to her sister. Sister dear, She said the dear as sarcastically as she could. It looks like you don't know me as well as you should! You will die by my hand, if not tonight then some other time, but you shall die by my hand, this I will even swear to the gods! She then ran full speed towards Layila sword up, and ready to stirke.

Ketomasha flew above his attack and told the pathetic human."You think you can sweet talk me so I wont kill you, wrong I do get joy in killing helpless people now hand over the woman and I will kill you very fast so it is not as painful."

Ketomasha then changed from his human form to his demon form and came down at his targets with an upper cut towards the mans face.

Gaul shook his head slightly determined not to move from his postion in front of the woman, even when the man transformed into his demon form Gaul stood strong, the loyal servant part of him shining through as he was prepared to fight his hardest to keep the woman alive,

as the man came towards him in an attempt to upper cut him, Gaul thrust the staff point forward slamming it towards the approaching demons stomach sure to keep him out of reach Gaul simply stood strong "It sounds as thought your to weak to fight anyone other then the helpless, or at least the way your fighting" Gaul grinned he was no seasoned fighter he had done the basics and learnt a few tricks during those dangerous tavern fights.

((OOC: I prefer creativity when someone insults my character. Now I don't feel bad about using my weapons.))

Jarreth looked above into the dark night sky as Zero fled to a falling figure just away from him. He could not help be distracted as curious words, devoid of meaning, but passionate regardless, came down to offend his ears. His eyes flashed white as he stared into the plumes of smoke, offering him a faint glimmer of ill-omen beyond his sight. It was only habit that he backed up when something remotely purple and somehow darker than the rest of the sky came down, again and again. The bolts struck the dirt floor, charring the surface, before vaporizing in yet another small column of smoke. Jarreth hated magic. Luckily, the creature was gaining velocity and was holding a sword. Jarreth knew swords.

Dodging to the side, he took a few steps away and readied Talon, being entirely assured that at the rate of descent and angle of the sword, he could not be put in danger by the long tip of the heavy weapon. This was assured even though he thought he saw wings on the creature's back. The white flames on his sword almost seemed to drip in salivation for the death of a dark hearted foe, and he was prepared to assure that meal. As soon as the creature fell to the ground, he would strike quickly while his enemy was still disoriented from the fall. It was too close to impact for any other option; at the very least it would have to spend an instant still to absorb the impact, and at this moment he would attack.

In the moments before the assault, right before the creature struck the ground, he replied to the odd string of insults in his mind. Festering rash of a decayed body, stench of the foul and wicked. Motherless bastard creation, mistake. Your flesh shall be stripped from your hollow chest so that all may see the last drops of your blood flee from your very tissues, all pooled and congealed on the dusted ground to mark your descent to the wretched underworld that is your home.

In the moment before he landed, Zorgn thought to himself, He moved. Dang. Zorgn's wings unfurled at the last moment, catching the air and taking most of his momentum away. Zorgn gracefully landed on his feet and turned towards his enemy. "You are good. Why do you hunt my prey?"

(Use your weapons. I no longer fear death.)

Layila

Layila was still dertermined to take down Anya, she rasied her katana to the blow, and whistled. Lienna, and Nicky both cam to her aid and ran at Anya teeth beared, and claws ready. Layila then gathered a fire ball in her hand. Sister dear. You forget so easily my pets...and my passion. She played with the fire for a few seconds and then trew it at her sister.

He was forced to halt his plan for a surprise attack as the demon somehow defied motion in air and landed without consequence after spreading his wings at only a moment's notice. A thick drip of white flame detached from the blade and fell to the ground, a hissing noise rising up from the charred ground as the flame consumed itself and dissapeared in equally white smoke. The illumination brought the atmosphere in the area of a higher tone, a shadow casting glow that showed the form of the winged beast in front of him. Jarreth eyed the creature with a glinting eye before replying.

"Beast, I will not debate claim over his life so long as it is ended. You wish his heart cease, so you will have your turn. Slay him or be slayed by him; succeed, and I will have no cause to fight you in turn."

Jarreth would allow this apparent evil being to fight Zero. It was a means to an end, and if the demon-like creature rid the world of the traitorous Zero, it would be an act of goodness strong enough to earn Jarreth's reprieve for the time. Should the traitor win, the demon would be slain regardless and Jarreth would finish the deed himself. The knight knew he was outnumbered in this struggle to save the village, so any help he could procure would be useful in the task.

Anya moved to the side of this attack from the fire, and held her sword to Layila's pets' attack. Layila! Think harder, you can't think that this will help anything! What did these people do to deserve this? Anya then charged at her sister once more, ignoring the animals.

Zero was getting happier that this ingrate decided to back off and let him fight Zorgn. But Zero had options he would either die and not face Jarreth or kill Zorgn and face Jarreth. This was always diffucult to do, but he stuck with option B, to kill Zorgn and then have a plan to get Jarreth off his back.
He was now begining to confront Zorgn with a strike on the chest.

Zorgn jumped backwards as the sword swung at him. It missed, but as he went backwards, Zorgn crashed through a weakned wall and into a flaming house. Why did I jump so hard? A little bit would have been enough, but I had to go overboard and get stuck in a house. Zorgn fled deeper into the building, crouched to avoid smoke inhalation. Maybe upstairs? Will the floor support me? Will Zero follow? Zorgn doubted that Zero would stay outside with Jarreth. He figured that he'd brave the flames instead of fight a better equipped enemy.

And an enemy he was. Jarreth stood motionless with his raptor gaze fixed on the awkward Zero, his attack clumbsy and predictable. Watching the demon fall back into a house brought on the urge to simply fire a bolt into Zero's back to save a potentially useless battle. He readied himself to attack, maybe even pull his crossbow and satiate his desires, if Zero did not pursue the monster. The orange flames roared across the outline of the hole left by the winged demon, well large enough for the traitor to follow without scorching anything vital. Should the man choose to avoid that opening and instead alter his course in a different direction, Jarreth would lose interest in his deal and take care of the "prey" without further wasted time.

The armored knight caught the fighting figures of two girls off in the distance, two pairs of wings visible by the glow of the firelight. He knew one to be responsible for the dead of the villagers in Taras. It did not matter which one specifically, that would be decided when he could get a better look at the two. It would be his next order of business when Zero finally rid himself of Jarreth's sight.

Layila looked cooly at her sister. You of people should know that it will help! Our father is here somewhere and I intend to kill him. She saw the rest of her animals return to her. So sorry but I must take my leave! the village was rid of most of its people as Nina trotted up beside Layila. Layila dodged her sister's attack and got onto the horse and rode off with the small pack of animals close behind her, however Nicky staied long enough to stirke towards Anya's shoulder.

Anya saw Layila as she got onto the horse and ran away. YOU COWARD GET BACK HERE!!! She was to busy yelling at Layila to notice the wolf coming at her, and she yelled out as its teeth sunk into her skin and through her shoulder. She watched the group of animals follow Layila off away from the village.

Anya then remembered that Zero was still fighting, she ran over towards the burning building, her sword in her hand. She stopped and looked at Jarreth. Your no better then Layila, she kills without adhearing to the screams, she ignores their plees. You won't even let Zero explain himself! Your no better then a blood thirsty monster! Layila had goodness inside her, I'm the proof of that, I was split from her, Zero was trying to save me, trying to save Layila's soul, but you won't even give him the time of day!! As Anya spoke her voice became louder and more harsh towards him.

You call yourself good, when you are no better then the darkest of people... She turned to the building and walked towards it.
