| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Wynde was already displeased with the tavern. It seemed the place would never grow silent. The men were howling at one another or cheering the dancers from below and the women were always giggling at something. He had to get some money to stay at the other inn. Even the bards here were drunk and of low quality. |

The door swung open and a smirk came across the young woman's face who steped in. Her darkend lips pulled softly and then she stoped smirking and steped in. Her feet were bare and she wore a tatterd chared cloak. Yet something about her hair and her skin told she had more then it seemed. She smiled as she walked past those who stumbled and those who yelled. She skirted one man who looked a little to happy with the ideal of touching her. She moved away from the reach of his hand and her two different colored eyes turned to see Wynde in the back. She titled her head and a current of ebony bangs fell before her crimson eye. Her left eye was a silver and golden color in different lights. She then turned and moved for a empty table next to the drunken bards who sang slurred rhymes...She sat and smiled simply watching while she rested. |

Wynde had carefully watched everyone who came in for the past three hours. Few had left. Most dozed in their chairs until a serving girl accidentilly knocked them and they would awaken and begin again where they left off. Humans, Wynde had decided, were by far the strangest creatures he had ever seen. He watched a man get to his feet, then fall to the floor wretching. Even dwarves never drank enough of their stout to do that to them. So it went for several hours longer. No one ventued near Wynde in the back. He was fine with that. Once more, the door swung open. A young woman stepped in. To Wynde's trained eyes, he knew she was more than what her tattered clothes might suggest. As she stepped towards the table next to the bards, he wondered what errand any woman would have in this run down inn. |

She sighed sitting at the table waiting for the time to pass till finally as the door swung open a bright orb of white light zipped in. FLying around drunk mens ears and faces leaving them dizzy in its wake. The tiny sprite had butterfly wings of red black white and yellow. It seemed to be looking for someone till suddenly it came to an abrupt halt and then zipped straight for the lady in the back. Tristan smiled looking up and holding ahand out the orb paused over her hand and chimed softly. "Geez why did you pick this spot...We are in the worst parts of town..." Came a female voice filled with spunk. "Becuase Angith... Would you rather be in a lively tavern where people are curious and tend to chase glowing lights such as yourself...?"She laughed. "Besides...It seems you found me well enough...Now what can you tell me of this town..." Minutes passed and the fae went through a long list of things related to this town and then fell silent in which so did Tristan thinking for many moments before she felt the intense pull of eyes drawn on her. She turned and looked directly to Wynde and smiled softly some and nodded to him before turning back to look at the fae. |

Wynde looked away quickly, his face reddening. His thoughts had grown too deep and he had completely forgotten where his eyes rested. He had grown too careless. "Once I have finished my duty," he growled softly, "I will return to strengthening my mind in the tower..." His voice trailed off as he slipped back into his musings. |

Her eyes moved away as his did and she smiled. Looking back to Angith she sighed, "So Little one....where should we go...?" She asks softly... <Well I Suggest, If you are looking for your Past, to try the Talas Library. They have many books that might be of some help to you....Or you could leave this city and go for kellen of The magess Academy,> Tristan sat for many moments and thought this over. "I guess the Library would be best. " She says smiling some before turning her eyes back to Wynde. She sighed though and orderd some drink and sat there sipping casually. She was taking time to relax before moving on again. |

Duty, he thought again, What is this 'duty' that keeps rising to my mind and what is this 'tower'? I know it was important, but I cannot recall anything past losing my memory a full year ago. Perhaps I can learn something about it in the library... |

She smiled and nodded to Wynde then stood heading towards the doors the samll fae following her she sighed. "Through the market then?"She asks lightly as she walked and the little orb chimed <Yep> Tristan sighed "All this traveling has me tired" Were the last words heard from her as she swept out of the tavern making for the market to head through and to the library. |

The girl had left with a nod in his direction. Why she had nodded towards him was beyond Wynde. I wonder who she is... The girl was indeed more than she seemed. Few decent men even looked upon this place's wretched doors. In the rare exception that they would come in would be for one of the rooms above the uproar and mayhem. Gathering his belongings, Wynde decided to follow her. |
