| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Adramis smiled at the small girl. "Nice to meet you Miranda." he turned to Artemis, face pale. Healing wasn't a pleasant experience for him. He and his sister were opposite in magic; she could heal, he could hurt. When they tried to mix... it did not go well. For most people, a healing was calm and soothing; for Adramis he felt the wound reopen again as it actually shut. Also, his siter or any other cleric are unable to give him back bloo dhe had lost, making him weak for a while after an injury. His arm still ached. That was why he tried to keep his sister from healing him at all costs. "I'm glad you're okay Artemis." He grinned weakly at her. "We were worried. Next time you run off, at least give us fair warning, ok?" |

"I'm only glad that you are ok. I'm sure that I could of helped if Miranda hadn't of stopped me from coming to you guys, I'm sorry about that." Artemis looked at the man who seemed so ghostly, that people would think he could pass through walls. "Maybe we should rest her for another night. You don't look in any shape to travel, especially with those men. They'll keep sending more and more of their people." Artemis was only thinking about the best, but was it really safe for them to stay in such a confined area. If those men do get more people, wouldn't they be in even more danger than they already were? "I'm sorry for running off by the way.....It was an emergency. But next time, I'll let ya know", she says with a smile. |

"This is no time to have a tea party. We must leave immediately. It is not wise for a deer being hunted to stay in one place. It is not wise for the Eagle to fly over the same range that archers are shooting. So it is no wise for us to be standing here associating." Miranda was giving small hints that she was upset, but somehow...that feeling did not show through. She did not even sound mean at all. If it wasn't for the fact that she had a point, no one would even know if she was mad. "Now...let's pack our bags, and leave. And Artemis...do not ask where we are going. You guys will have to trust and follow me." |

"We only have your word for that, Miranda." Aenell glanced at her brother with a worried look. "I don't think Adry will be able to-" He sighed and pushed her towards the door, his meaning clear. Aenell sighed and pointed at her brother. "I swear, if you do anything on this journey that injures you I'm gonna heal you until you shrivel up." She waved merrily to Artemis and the puppet. 'I'll be back in a bit girls, gotta go pack both of our bags, because my brothers not going to move. Roght Adry?" She lace her quesation with menace and walked out the door to their own room down the hall. |

Adramis waited until she left the room and stood up slowly. "man, she's such a royal pain sometimes..." he stretched, careful of his arm. "i'll be fine to travel Artemis. Miranda's right; getting cornered in this inn would be a bad thing." He met her eyes for a second, then looked down again. "And i'd appreciate it if you told me next time... I don't want anything to happen to you..." He turned slightly red but hid it by turning and messing with his short bow. |

*Uhhh..you already said that before. So Ima pretend you didn't say that* "So now all we have to do is wait for Aenell and then we're outta here? I can't wait, this cramp in my neck is from staying on one place too long.", she says with a laugh. "So Adramis....how good a shot are you?" |

"Artemis, we don't have time to ask stupid questions....You should be helping her pack her bags." Miranda was trying to get out a hint of anger...but her same monotonous tone rang through the others ears. "It is really an emergency to get our of here. I feel the presence of demons some odd miles from here. Oddly...they seem to be coming from behind us. It will take them less than a day to catch up with us the way they are now. And...to my knowledge...Demons don't sleep..." |

Adrmais smiled at the Amazon girl. "Don't worry about it Miranda. Aenell has an... unusual way of doing things. Anyone else will just get in the way. She'll be done quickly." He shrugged in response to Artemis' question. i'm an ok shot, I suppose. Not as good as some, but better than most. It was something that came in handy more than once." |

Aenell cmae bursting back in, a pack over eash shoulder. She glared at her brother. "hey, idiot, I though I said not to get up, eh?" She sighed and shook her head. "Men never learn..." She looked around at everyone, then giggled. "Let's go!" she grabbed her twins hand and pulled him out of the room, threatening him with all sorts of punishments. He returned the banter easily, both enjoying themselves. they had been togeteher a long time, and were used to traveling with each other. they stopped at the exit to the inn, waiting for the two girls and arguing happily. |

"Well...they seem to be ready to go. So ready they left me." Artemis darted away from Miranda and down the stairs to catch up with the twins. It appeared that they were arguing again, but Artemis didn't want to break it up. She stood against the side of the exit. Her patience began to wear thin, and she shouted at the two. "Ready?" |

Miranda slowly wobbled down the stairs. "They are almost here...it is time to go." The group continued out the door, and the bodies of the men that had died earlier suddenly had vanished. "That's weird....who would of moved them..." |

"Exscuse me... Miss Puppet..." Aenell looked at the girl for a second, then smiled brightly. "I was wondering if you could tell me where we're going. Because we can't leave until we know, unless you want to take the lead..." Aenell still felt a little mistrustful of the girl. She had appeared from nowhere, and knew too much. Aenell would keep a close eyes on her for this trip... |
