| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Carlos followed Verling into the Elfsong Tavern, immediately taken by surprise at the coziness of the Inn. "Wow, i never thought that i would be anywhere cozy after i left home." He mumbled before taking the nearest seat beside him. Carlos felt slightly uncomfortable at all the happiness and holly nature of the bar. He looked around, his bright blue eyes looking around the bar, he smiled as he saw that nearly everything here was made of wood, the fireplace, roaring with heat, giving great warmth to the Tavern. |

Verling leaned back in his chair and called out to a waiter asking for two beer's. When they had arrived he put one in front of Carlos. The heat of the inn was making him more comfortable than he had been outside, he became relaxed and a bit sleepy. Looking over to carlos he said "So what brings you to Talas? You don't seem like the kind that stay's in the same place for to long." As he waited for a reply he drank a bit of his beer and then looked at all the people around them. Some where over drunk and dancing around the inn with eachother. Some people where singing as well. It was hard to concentrate with everyone's singing and dancing but he got over it and regained his concetration after a few minutes. |

Carlos chuckled at the drunk people, smiling at their happiness, as he looked at the dancing drunks he answered Verling's question quietly, "I have come here to study magic, and your assumption is right, i usually leave a city in a couple of days." He said simple, reaching for the drink he had ordered. Carlos began to drink it quietly, looking over anyone in the Tavern. Carlos looked at the painting that lay on a wall infront of him, it looked strangely familiar, he frowned, trying to remember where he had seen it. Carlos clutched his drink firmer, trying to remember, he groaned, "I hate it when i can't remember something." He mumbled, still trying to figure out where he had seen the painting before. Carlos gave up and leaned back in his chair, deciding to make himself comfortable, instead of being catious all the time. |

Verling smiled at Carlos comment and siad "You hate when you can't remember things huh. Well then you would hate to be me." He then put the mug down and began to look around him. The people who still had some since of mind had all left, leaving only drunks behind. It was now even harder to concentrate as some of the people that had left where the only ones keeping the drunks from acting completly insane. They where now jumping on tables and dancing. One person tried to jump on there table but Verling pushed him away before he could get up and he went to another table. |
