| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

The rain slowed to a drizzle and then slowly the clouds began to dissapear. "They are both blue. Good, I'm not sure I could of held out for much more of the demon. No then, Let's see that she's okay," Master Ace thought to himself as he dropped his ball of ice and place Draco on the ground. Draco pulled his head up high and pranced around proudly, thinking that he had single-handedly vanquished the demon. Master Ace slowly approached her. "Ranewen are you okay? I'm terrible sorry I hurt you. Here let me heal you and make it up to you," he offered as he came nearer to her. He examined her wounds as he came towards her. "There's the cut from Reya... The shards of glass... and then of course damage from the falls." |

Ranewen instantly shook her head as a now. She didn’t wish to be healed. She had the spell herself. “No…” was all she could say. She was still trembling a little bit, but she forced herself to stay awake. Soon, though, she drifted off into a sleep. Her dreams were full of the battle, yet in the end, Kore had come. Then after that, the demon crawled back out of her and tried to attack him. She forced herself to keep sleeping, though. She needed to build up her strength once again. But what about the men from the tavern? When would they return? If it was while she was sleeping, surely they would probably kill her. She shuddered on the outside at that thought, but ignored it. |

"I can't just leave her here!" he thought as he walked towards her. He noticed as he got closer that she had fallen a sleep. He gently picked her up of the wet street. He looked around. The tavern had was burned baddly, but the inn was still standing and hardly touched thanks his summoning of the rain. He looked to Jordison and the rest of Ranewen's gang and said softly, "Let's get her to a bed." He moved to the inn slowly because he didn't want to wake her up. Draco paraded behind Ace urging the rest of Ranewen's familiars to follow. |

Ranewen hadn’t noticed that she was picked up. She felt her head loll backwards, but she dared not open her eyes. She twitched a few times, her head flinging from side to side. Jordison was the first one to move. He began to walk after Draco. Soon enough, Abyss got up and fluttered after them. Soon enough, the Wisp got up and followed its friend, Abyss. Maral… Ranewen thought. As if the nightmare knew her thoughts, she came galloping down the streets of Talas and soon caught up with Ranewen and Ace. She snorted, not liking Ace, as she didn’t know him. Ranewen’s eyes slowly opened and she looked at the nightmare, a slight smile on her face. It was weak, but it was still there. |

Master Ace turned as he heard Maral galloping towards them. He looked from the majestic creature to Ranewen's weak smile. He looked towards Jordison and Abyss and noticed that they didn't seem to think anything was out of the ordinary. "I'm just trying to get her to a nice safe place to rest," He explained to Maral as he slowly turned back towards what remained of the Elfsong tavern and inn. He hoped that the intelligent steed would understand. "Draco go see if you find a key to a room," he said to Draco and the psudeodragon happily made his way to what was left of the the tavern's counter. |

Ranewen mustered up as much of her strength as she could to roll herself out of Master Ace’s arms. In the street, she sat on the back of her legs, which were pressed against the ground. She muttered a few words and her wounds slowly healed themselves. She sighed lightly and muttered something to the horse. Maral instantly loped over towards her master and nuzzled her cheek. The Nightmare’s nose felt like velvet against her cheek. Her whiskers made her twitch, for they tickled her. She wrapped her arms around the face of the large mare and the mare lifted her up to her feet. “Thank you,[/color” she said as she looked at master ace before waiting as her familiars came to her and sat themselves on the horse as if they done it a million times. She then positioned herself on the nightmare’s black, bare back. Fly, she thought and the mare lunged forward into a gallop, going the other way. Ranewen now lay against the mare’s neck, her hands clutching the mare’s mane. She shut her tired eyes and trusted the stallion to return her to Kellen. |

"Never mind what I said Draco. It looks like she's got things under control," Master Ace said to Draco as he watched the nightmare ride off into the night. "She'll be alright I suppose. I wonder if we will ever meet again. I just hope our next meeting isn't simmilar to this one," Master Ace thought to himself, "I haven't heard from Zorgn latey. I suppose he's finished with his havoc and has already headed home. Time for me to do the same." Master Ace picked up Draco and slowly headed towards the Academy of magic. |

Ranewen took one last look over her shoulder to see Master Ace and Draco headed towards the Academy of Magic. She shook her head and urged Maral into a faster gallop. The houses sped by in a blur and the peple that were awake and saw the fight watched her ride into the night. What’re you people looking at? she asked herself, almost expecting an answer. They all just looked at her in amazement at the damage they had done. Luckily, the demon didn’t have enough strength left to come out again. At least, for now. As for later, Ranewen didn’t think about it. She had hoped he would never come back. With a slight sigh, she lifted herself up, feeling as if her strength was restored. ((THIS TOPIC IS NOW CLOSED!
