| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Oh rats.. It looked like the smoores would have to wait, it was raining now and the fires were quickly going out. With her soure of entertainment erased, Lómen and Urulóki decided to leave. She had never really been this mischievious before, but that was why she kept her alignment neutral. All for boredom's sake. She blinked off into the night, still invisible, with Urulóki tucked under the protection of her cloak. |

@#$%... why did it have to rain? I'll still have some fun though... Zorgn raised his left hand and started summoning lightning. the bolts came down and struck houses and buildings all over the city. Fire or no fire, Talas was going down. Whoever had summoned the rain might come looking for him, but Zorgn would be ready. Zorgn gathered energy in his right hand and waited. |

"Somebody just can't take a hint. I am not in the mood to deal with him right now, I've done enough for the town already. I've tooken care of most of the trouble makers," Master Ace thought to himself as he walked away form the scene. Draco was scared and silent. As Master Ace walked down the street, a bolt of lightning struck a nearby building. Cords snaped and it's giant sign came crashing down before him. Just a few feet in front of him was the weapon smith's sign, a gigantic sword with 'Martavel's Weaponry' written on it. Master Ace turned around to see where the bolt were coming from. "Prehaps there is a little more I have to do.I'm glad I didn't dispell haste yet," he thought as he looked up to Zorgn causing havoc from the sky. |

Zorgn looked over to his right and saw Master Ace aproaching. Knowing him, he wasn't here to join in the fun. He might know where the one who cast the rain spell was though... Zorgn yelled down the street towards Ace, "Seen anyone cast a Rain spell?" Zorgn summoned a fireball to light his way through the downpour. It floated underneath his hand and didn't go out, despite the rain. |

Master Ace stared a Zorgn with cold peircing eyes. Master Ace casted a spell and his wings grew to a usable size. His tail also grew to about three feet long. "Seen anyone cast a lighting spell," the words of his reply were colder than the chilling rain. Zorgn was smart enough to figure it out form there. He waited for Zorgn's reaction. |

Seeing the rain, she smirked and shook her head. That little bastard just doesn’t get it, does he? Today’s not his day to be the hero… But it’s certainly our day to raise some Hell! she thought with a smirked and grabbed her summoning staff and rose it into the air while she said a few words. Soon enough, a demonic being came to her side. She reached up towards its ear and told it to go search for Master Ace. She had given the beast his description, which was not too hard. All she had to say was ‘half-dragon’ and the beast was already off, crashing itself into a wall opposite of where the men were standing. Half-dragon… Half-dragon… he repeated the name in his head numerous times before his eyes rested on Ace and then at Zorgn. A smirk went on the demon’s face as it waited for a reaction from either man. Ranewen, on the other hand, was leaning against the tree, getting drenched in the rains. She sighed and shook her head, not really caring. She just waited to hear noise from the demon’s doings. Getting slightly impatient, she walked into the building by where the demon had crashed through. It was a door until the demon broke it down to get in, leaving a slightly larger opening than where the door had been. Ranewen had all of her weapons on her, ready to fight if she felt like it. To be honest – she actually wanted to fight. It would be quite fun to torment her enemies, although she would warn him no magic. Although a mage, she was pretty decent with a sword – but nothing compared to one whose class was based on sword fighting; a warrior. That was the word. She was nothing compared to a warrior. But, like said before, she wasn’t half-bad with a sword, though she wasn’t all that good, either. |

Zorgn ignored the large demon that had just craashed through a wall. He looked across the street at Ace and thought, So, he was the one who cast the rain spell... I should have known. Zorgn let the lighting die down as he thought how he would handel this. "Every time you appear outside of the academy, my plans are ruined. Why do you keep messing everything up?" Zorgn didn't really expect a reply. |

He thought Zorgn might think over his actions carefully. Master Ace turned his attention to the demonic beast. "I'm supposing this isn't a part of your plans," Master Ace said as he pointed his claw towards the beast. Zorgn might not want to fight Ace but this beast was thinking only of him. Draco had read the beast's one-track mind. It was hard to wait for things to happen while his haste spell but he managed. He pulled out Reya with his tail and waited for the beast to make his move. He prepared to cast a quickened spell for the Demonic Being's next move. |

Ranewen smirked and drew her own Fire and Ice sword, Cierif and let it slink against the ground. Although the beast wasn’t the smartest one in the world, he charged head on towards Master Ace, and then let himself slide on the ground, towards the other side of him. He had noted the speed of Master Ace and waited for him to attack him first. Half-dragon… Half-dragon… the thoughts still ran through his head. Ranewen was getting impatient and shook her head angrily. She then heard what Master Ace had said and thought about it. He must not have seen her yet, so she piped up and stated, “No, it’s not of Zorgn’s doing, Ace… It is mine” She smirked and grasped the sword in the middle so she could wield it in both ways if she had to attack him. He won’t be able to leave tonight unharmed… Even if it means I must sacrifice myself, but he has ruined my time for the LAST time! she thought, hatred burning in her eyes. The demon waited cockily for Master Ace to try and attack him, a smirk on its face. Quickly, his eyes darted towards the Vampire, but instantly went back to Ace, making sure not to give him any time to attack too soon. He growled lightly and began to fiddle with a glass and then through it at Ace. Ranewen smirked. I have a trick up my sleeve here… she thought and waited to see what master Ace would do. If everything went correctly, she would injure him greatly – as good as she could – and then leave. |

Zorgn drew his silver Anniversary Dagger with his right hand and readied a spell in his left. This was going to be fun. Taking down Ace would make Zorgn's life a lot easier. Three on one. That's a long shot, even for Ace. Time to die, Ace! The demon would get the first move, then Zorgn might enter the fray. |

"It looks like she wants to by a drink for Zorgn and it's on me. How nice of her. Taking on all three of them is not worth my time. What do I have to gain afterall," Master Ace thought after Draco had relayed Zorgn's thoughts. He casted a quickened slow time. He Now he was was moving about four times faster than everthing else. The drops rain drifted slowly to the ground before him. The bottle spinned through the air with a speed just beyond a snail. He teleported away as far he could. He was hovering in the air a few bluildings away. He knew they would still pursue him. It was difficult for him to see them throught he rain, but atleast it would be likewise for them. He waited to see if they noticed where he teleported to. |

(I'm sorry, Ace, but that's a bit unfair to us... I mean, you should at least make the fight fair and let us move normally. And plus, haste only works once...) |

After the short period of being slow (yes, it only lasts for a short period), the demon lunged at him in the air, grabbing at Ace’s foot with its hands, which had sharp nails. Seeing as he might be distracted by the demon, Ranewen used telekinesis to rise up a glass. She then aimed it at Ace’s back, so it was near impossible to see its coming. Smirking, she waited for the impact, hoping he wouldn’t move out of the way. Well, if he defeats the demon, I always have other summoning spells, she thought and clutched onto Cierif tightly as she concentrated on the glass. Almost there… Don’t move… she thought, a smirk on her pale face. She prayed that he wouldn’t move. If this had hit him correctly, it would knock him off balance – possibly knock him out; or even make him fall to the ground. Then, the enraged Ranewen could injure him like she wanted to. The demon was still after his foot, just about to reach it, unless Ace moved out of the way. |

Stinking Dragon. Stealing my thoughts like that. Now he will stay out of my head. Zorgn used his telepathy spell to bar the dragon and anyone else from his mind. Zorgn thought about casting a spell at Ace, it could backfire though. Killing off his help was not an option. He would wait untill the demon was out of the way. |

Draco was scared but he didn't like things limiting his powers of the mind. Zorgn would have to focus on his spell to keep draco out of his mind, but Draco would be unable to read everyone elses minds in the process. "Zorgn will be a bit occupied if he wants to keep his thoughts to himself. I need to gain some altitude this demon's faster than I thought and has some good jumping capablities too," Master Ace thought to himself before he flew higher in the air and lashed at the demon with Reya as he rose. He only gave the beast a small cut, but the dagger of celestial fire didn't get it's name for nothing. The cut would ,within seconds, begin to burn. The demon would survive, but the pain would keep it occupied for a bit. "Looking for a half- dragon, eh? Tha gives me an idea." Master ace thought as he put the dagger in his claw and polymorphed into Zorgn. Master Ace failed to notice the bottle hurled towards him. It him square in chest. It didn't hurt too much, but was annoying nonetheless. Luckly it had lost most of it's power and speed from the distance. Master Ace turned his eyes towards Ranewen and prepared a quickened spell for her next move. |
