| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Zorgn was confused. he had heard many things about Ciara, but her being in the bar was strange for a god, at least in Zorgn's mind. "Are you not a god? Why would a god be here?" Zorgn thought his question over and couldn't find a reason a god would be in a bar. It was all so strange. |

The thought of pain seemed to disappear. Panic and fear left her feeling excited and safe once more. Before she knew it, she was laughing loudly, a brighter smile, her eyes almost flirting as she took a hand up to her lips and covered it so that she might control the laughing, but she could not. Finally, moments laughter, after her pour cheeks and sides hurt, she let out a long sigh. A sigh of relief she realized. Ciara shook her head, staring at him intently before taking down a mug and placing it almost expertly upon the bar-top. "You are too kind Milord, but I am just a barmaid." An almost sad smile could be seen. Would he know after all this time? Was there still some talk of her as a Goddess? "I don't know where you hear such silly stories." She flashed him a bright smile, but the sadness still lingered. Her large gray wings shifted behind her as she brushed a long strand of gray hair behind her. "Where did you hear such fancy talk of such a simple barmaid Sir? I mean, if you don't mind me asking." As she filled the mug with a popular ale, she looked back his way. The smile still there as though she were enteretained, but she was now curious not so much sad as to where he had heard of her past and why he hadn't been told of her present as well.. |

"I guess my mind must be leaving me. I have met many people and heard of many others, but I was sure I had seen you before. Ah... don't listen to my ramblings. I'll be leaving for Kellen now. Goodbye." Zorgn stood up and walked towards the door. He used his Telekinesis spell to open the door, and walked outside.he stood for a moment, and then blinked down the street. Soon, he was far from the Elfsong Tavern and Inn. (O.O.C. - You were a godess, right? I'm really confused about all this.) |

Frowning now, she was alone again, though not for long. Others trickled into the tavern. Men and women, bards and dancers. The night had almosted ended, but now it had just begun. Smiling and laughing, she fixed the drinks for the others, setting them on the bar-top and tables. Collecting their payments and their tips along with the flirtation grins and gestures from the young men that had come in for the evening. But still her mind wandered to Zorgn, it had been odd how he had entered and knew so much of her past. She had indeed been the Goddess of Air, but that was such a long time ago. She had forgotten now what it felt like to be that girl, or woman rather. Shaking the thoughts from her mind, she concentrated more on the today rather than the yesterday and did about her daily duties. |
