| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

"How many times have you told me you love her? As many times as I wanted to tell you the truth. How long have I stood here beside you? I lived through you, you looked through me. Ooo, Solitude Still with me is only you Ooo, Solitude I can't stay away from you How many times have I done this to myself? How long will it take before I see? When will this hole in my heart be mended? Who now is left alone but me? Ooo, Solitude Forever me and forever you Ooo, Solitude Only you, Only true Everyone leaves me stranded, forgotten, abandoned left behind. I can't stay her another night Your secret admirer, who could it be? Can't you you see all along it was me? How can you be so blind as to see right through me?" Kumori sat on the wooden bar near the front of the inn, her voice softly flowing through the tavern. Crimson locks were pulls back from her face, tied up by a black ribbon. Her eyes were closed and her pink tinted lips moved to form the words she sang. A older man was playing a piano near by, giving her a music to aid the performace for the patrons within the Inn. She had changed into a full length black dress that had see-through lace sleeves and stomach. Her pale naval could be seen beneath the black mesh that covered it, her right palm pressed down on her flat stomach. Her left arm was extended behind her, holding her up as she leaned back on the bar. "Solitude Still with me is only you Ooo, solitude I can't stay away from you Solitude Forever me and forever you Ooo, Solitude Only you, Only true" Her song ended and she opened her eyes, turning to scan the faces of the patrons about her. She was lucky to have found a job at the Inn, and was even luckier that the owner aloud her to work only at night and sleep the day away as part of her payment. Even a vampire needed gold to survive the world these days. |

Ciara had stopped from her daily chores to listen to the singer who had entered into their tavern. It is like a magic. A childlike smile appeared upon her face, lighting even the darkest places of her eyes. She had forgotten that she was still the barmaid as a man grumbled for his drink and laid a heavy fist down upon the bar. Startled, she jumped in place, her head turning toward the loud noise after the performance had ended and she hurried to stand in front of him, pouring a large mug with a frothy ale. "Forgive me Milord, here is your drink." Her face flushed, she was embarrassed to be caught and even more, afraid that she might be fired. Tending to the bar was all that she had left, the only thing she had aside from her companions and her tree. She quickly poured two more ales like the last and set them atop the bar, collecting the coins for each as she turned her back to them now, filling a crystal goblet with a old wine. Taking it up gently in her hand, she made her way through the men and women who crowded the tavern and cheered for an encore from the performer. She smiled as she neared and noted the beauty of their guest, blushing yet again as she raised the goblet to her. "Please Milady, the owner of this fine tavern wishes that I kept you full of drink this evening. Here is our finest of wines, if you will have it." Appearing a bit meek, her eyes had lowered as she gave a curtsy to Kumori, remembering that taking this job was also a way for her to hide herself and well if she might add. None from the Otherworld would think her to come here to look for work, for when she had left them, they still believed her to be a Goddess, which she was not. Still holding the crystal goblet out with one hand, a small simply wrapped hand, steady as though she had done this all her days. "I do hope you are enjoying yourself Milady, you sing quite beautifully." Her eyes brightened a moment, but that was the only thing that could be noted to have brightened as she waited for the drink to be taken. |

Another performer sat in vback. His "Shift" had just ended, and he stayed around to see the others. He applauds wildly ,also seemingly entranced. Jeff the odd blue Faerie had only stayed for one reason, to take another shift for more money. Not like he'd actually get more money for it. It'd taker two or three shifts to get a raise with the new bartender... His thoughts faded back to Schmitty... Sadly, he raises his hopes. He had actually stayed because "Kumori" as she called herself, entranced him. As he was about to leave, she walked in. Noticing immediately that she was a vampyre, retreated to a corner. Still intrigued by her beauty, he decided on staying. His pseudodragon wakes up at the loud noise and begins crying in Dragonsong. Soothing him with clicking his tounge, the Pseudodragon falls back to sleep. Now he continued clappnig and applauding, and eventually the crowd fell still , then returned to their usual talking, etc. He sits back down after the audience, but his eyes still seem to glow. |
