[tabs][tab=Traits]| Traits |
|---|
| Magical Fortitude | Iggie is more resilient against magic than others and thus less susceptible to damaging magic, suffering less grievous wounds and experiencing less overwhelming pain.
| | Tinkerer | Iggie has a prodigious knack for figuring out how things work, especially arcanotechnology (e.g. airships, golems, grafts); he tends to break such things very easily, although he is also quite skilled at both building things from scratch and repairing his own inventions. | [/tab] [tab=Feats][/tab] [tab=Skills]| Skills |

|---|
| No Image | Liquid Earth Blood | Being an earth genasi has its advantages - “blood” which consists of viscous earth that quickly hardens over wounds, for example. Iggie’s blood makes him just a little bit tougher and heavier than most people physically comparable to him, which has unfortunately also made him a bit slower than said people. But then again, perhaps this is where the idea that “blood is thicker than water” came from…or maybe not.
| | No Image | Stone Left Arm | Resilient to both physical damage and magic, this prosthetic left arm is possessed of neither blood nor nerves but is equipped with a hand (complete with four fingers and a thumb). Unfortunately, it is also extremely heavy and the thick, sturdy digits of the hand are not built for dexterity; rather, they are good only for basic grasping. Due to its weight and constitution, it is impossible to sneak around with it; such is the fate of a prosthetic that grinds against itself while moving. On the plus side, if you love the sound of shifting rock and stone, then you’re in for a real treat. Of course, the weight also means that it won’t be able to move quickly and the lack of finger dexterity is a serious hindrance for casting or wielding weapons that require their wielders to do more than just hit things without finesse.
Leather is the only viable option for this graft, and the graft itself must be repaired manually; being constructed of stone, after all, renders it immune to both healing and necrotic spells, effects, and abilities. All other spells, effects, and abilities treat the prosthetic as a construct.
Components: Arm (graft), Stone (material)
| | No Image | Technician’s Modification | This set of improvements loads a grafted limb with a variety of useful items for repairing objects ((using the Arcane Technician skill)). This allows the limb to rapidly fix damage to arcane technology, even in battle. ((This takes up one slot for the purpose of fusions.)) | [/tab][/tabs] [tabs][tab=Arsenal]| Weapons |
|---|
| No Image | Sling | This simple strap of leather sports a ring at one end for slipping around one’s finger and bears a small pouch in the centre; that pouch can support a stone, a bullet, or a similar object. The best use of the weapon is to slip the ring onto the forefinger of one’s dominant hand, slip the desired ammunition into the pouch, and hold onto the other end of the sling with one’s ringed forefinger and thumb; by twirling the sling in a figure-eight fashion before him, the wielder can build up momentum. After a few passes in front of his body, the wielder releases the free end of the sling at just the right moment; this launches the pouch’s contents at the desired target. Common wielders of slings include shepherds, small game hunters, and mischievous young boys. Many wielders of the sling are commonly referred to as slingers.

|---|
| No Image | Bullets | Though unable penetrate skin or armor, bullets can cause bludgeoning damage. Lightly armoured targets can receive bruises or broken bones. At close range, a bullet is able to dent heavy armor. Bullets excel at knocking enemies unconscious, even those in helmets.

| - | Image | Arcane Reconnaissance Contraption | Dubbed the “Arcane Reconnaissance Contraption” (ARC), this brilliant invention of Iggie’s consists of two half-spherical objects connected by a sturdy flexible band with an adjustable length at either end and in the middle; this adjustability allows them to sit comfortably upon a skull of almost any size. The half-spheres have control knobs set into them on the outside, while the insides relay sound via different frequencies to the ears of the wearer. The ARC taps into the mana of which globally criss-crossing mana leylines are comprised, thereby providing them with a nigh limitless source of the energy they require in order to function properly. They were originally designed for short-range espionage, allowing the wearer to listen to nearby whispered conversations, although they can also be used to listen to music being played in previously visited taverns; the feedback released when they are suddenly deactivated is a fantastic distraction that allows for a swift retreat or escape as needed.
It was this invention that allowed Iggie to discover the yuan-ti invasion of Orton prior to its occurrence and escape, although he was too late to warn anyone who would actually listen to him; he was forced to flee alone.
((These headphones allow the wearer to listen to music currently playing in any previously visited tavern or hear the conversations of others within fifty feet. They can also release feedback that temporarily deafens and stuns all enemies within fifteen feet. Feedback can only be released once per combat.))
| | - | Image | Clockwork Backpack | A useful item created in Striberg, this Clockwork Backpack clings tightly to its owner and is difficult to dislodge. It may follow simple commands, such as “cling” and “release”, and the backpack can even independently find its owner if the “come” command is issued into its control gem.
| | Starter | No Image | Commoner’s Tools | This kit, common amongst gemskulls, is a small roll of dark-brown leather containing various slots. Included are lock-picks, a glass-cutter, oil, hex keys, and the like.
| | - | Image | Utility Belt | This invaluable belt bears many straps and pouches that manifest as the necessities of the wearer dictate. The belt also has a knack for providing the wearer with pouches full of useful odds and ends that he didn’t know he possessed (e.g. thread, needles, flint stones, tinder, clamps, washers/spacers, nuts/bolts, q-clips). | [/tab] [tab=Instrument(s)]| Instrument(s) |
|---|
| Starter | No Image | Tambourine | This tambourine belonged to Iggie’s father, a wandering bard who often returned to Orton due to homesickness. It is one of the few possessions that Iggie managed to salvage, preventing it from being burned along with the rest of his house, when the yuan-ti assaulted Orton. | [/tab] [tab=Companion(s)]| Companion(s) |
|---|
| Starter | | Magnus Mouse | This tiny creature found Iggie in a barn early one cold, frosty morning after he had fled from the yuan-ti that invaded Orton. Affectionately called Mags by Iggie and considered to be his only friend at the moment, he nevertheless doesn’t listen to Iggie and probably doesn’t understand a word he says; but for some inexplicable reason, he sticks with Iggie in spite of all of that. His love for berries, especially blackberries, often outweighs whatever common sense he has (assuming he has any at all); as such, he sometimes gets himself into trouble (and inevitably, Iggie as well).

| | - | No Image | Antelope Beetle | This tiny, fist-sized insect is known throughout Imythess for the curling "horn" protrusions from its head. Antelope beetles, with a little coaxing, will follow any scent presented to them; thanks to its size, one is unlikely to be spotted by the person it is tailing but is still easily followed by master. Antelope beetles are slow flyers and prefer to head immediately to walls and other elevated surfaces.
