| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Goblin Portable Airship [Clockwork Backpack + This airship was created by Sazy Gigwelt, because "Gnomish engineering is all ego and no skill!" It is constructed out of advanced alloys that have been treated both alchemically and magically to make them incredibly lightweight. Furthermore, it can easily be taken apart and stored in a custom pack for convenience. This pack is heavy and bulky, but still manageable enough that a single person can lift it. As a pack it clings tightly to its owner and is difficult to dislodge. It may follow simple commands, such as cling and release, and the backpack can even independently find its owner if the come command is issued through her metamana earpiece. You can continually put objects in storage, whether it be swords, potions, jewelry, golem parts, or even small animals like a cat. Objects shrink to a very small size when placed in storage and might be hard to retrieve. The Portable Airship can be reassembled quickly and is small and maneuverable enough to be launched from any location. In the air it is extremely fast and can outpace larger airships, but suffers in terms of carrying capacity. It can carry one person comfortably or just barely two people precariously and has no space for mounting weapons. These vehicles are infamous for making crash landings, although that has more to do with the piloting skills of their creators than any design flaws. I don't see any problem withthis, but I think it is unecessary ![]() You could fuse the Clockwork Pack and the Bag of Never ending space and just stuff the airship inside it, tbh

I don't think this fusion would allow you to do that. I take "reassembled quickly" to still take a degree of time and concentration that would be difficult to muster while mid-fall. |

So what you're saying is. . . I should get rid of the useless folding ability and have Sazy just walk a flying device through hallways? |

Don't have the attention span for that video. What was it you wanted to be able to do with it? Jump off a building and have it assembled and flying before you hit the ground or something? |

Nah, just call the portable airship and it comes. Video was of Lobo and his bike because him whistling for his hog was pretty sweet.

I think it would be a stretch to use the Clockwork Backpack's come command to justify having a self-flying airship. |

A stretch, yes, but within the description of clockwork backpack. The question here is is it OP or not....and I will let Leyanni weigh in on that. She may see something I don't, or agree with you Zo and think that is a deniable thing. |

If the airship can only "come", there's nothing really wrong with that feature. Most airships are to a degree self-flying already. The bag of holding makes this weird though. Might be best to remove it because it doesn't add anything to the item(no, seriously, it doesn't) and instead brings up the confusion of having a bag of holding that is the ship's cargo but is technically inaccessible while the ship is folded because you've jammed the cargo into some mess of folded airship bits. I'd suggest removing the bag of holding because it doesn't do anything for the fusion that it doesn't already do just by you having it on your person. |
