Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

Green Fist

Level One


  • Limited Primal Immunity [Hands]: Your hands, wrists, and arms up to your elbow develop an immunity to elemental energy of your branch. This includes both natural and magical manifestations of your element and allows you to deflect attacks with your bare hands alone. Green Fists are immune to nature such as poison, venom and acid.

  • Elemental Stone: An object given or otherwise received by the Primal Fist that enhances their connection to the raw power of their chosen element. This object can serve as a storage device for elemental power that will allow you to use more powerful attacks or abilities. At level one, your Elemental Stone can only hold a single charge. With every additional level the number of charges will increase by one. You can spend a post of concentration to gather the proper amount of elemental energy from the environment to restore a charge. This will leave you vulnerable in combat unless you own the Combat Casting feat.

  • Green Fist:

    • Nature Sense: The Green Fist can sense natural energies, which includes plants, animals, and living things in general. This sense works within a radius of fifty feet, but at this level it is not very clear. As you increase in level it becomes to easier to differentiate between sources of heat and obtain greater clarity.
    • Vine Punch: This ability requires the use of a single charge from your Elemental Stone. When you punch spiked vines form around your fist effectively extending the reach of your punch by an additional five feet.



Level Two


  • Primal Symbology: At this level the Primal Fist will be taught the intricacies of using sigils in combat. These magical markings can unleash powerful elemental effects in a variety of ways. Outside of combat, it takes one post of focused effort to muster the proper amount of elemental energy to use a primal sigil. The distractions of combat extend this period of time. With no levels in the Concentration skill, it will take four posts to summon enough energy to use a sigil. With Adept rank, it only takes three posts. With Master rank, it will only take two posts. You may only have one of each type of sigil written at any one time, except when noted otherwise in the description. Sigils can be dispelled or canceled via an Anti-Magic Field, and a sigil cannot be inscribed within such a field.

  • Green Fist:

    • Green Fist: At will, the Green Fist can cover their fists and lower arm in non-magical acid. When they make unarmed attacks, the acid will allow them to deal extra damage to their foes and potentially set them alight.
    • Poison Infusion: This ability requires the use of a single charge from your Elemental Stone. When one of your attacks makes impact, it adds common poison (see alchemy shop) to your strike that can slow your opponents movements. When combined with Vine Punch, the poison becomes a paralyzing poison (see alchemy shop).
    • Nature Sigil: At this level, you learn one Fire Sigil of your choice. With every additional level you can choose one more Fire Sigil to learn.


Level Three


  • Elemental Transformation: : Your Elemental Stone gains a new ability. For the cost of a single charge, it can change shape into that of a small elemental creature. It has little power, but can move on its own. Your elemental sense is transferred to the elemental, which will allow it to scout out your surroundings. If it goes more than a half-mile away, it will lose its power and revert back to its stone-like state.

  • Green Fist:

    • Acid Spray: This is a ranged melee attack that works better with your bare hands, but can still be utilized with a handheld weapon. The Green Fist can create a spray of acid with their next attack. It can be up to five feet in radius and extend up to fifteen feet away from them. Anyone caught in this ability will receive second-degree burns.
    • Acid Weapon: The Green Fist can now extend their non-magical coating of acid to their weapon as well. This adds fire damage to any attack that connects with your weapon. This effect is transferred to your ammunition when using ranged weapons.



Level Four


  • Limited Primal Immunity [Feet]: Your feet, ankles, and legs up to your knees develop an immunity to elemental energy of your branch. This includes both natural and magical manifestations of your element and allows you to deflect attacks with your bare feet alone.

  • Greater Primal Manifestation: You can now manifest your element on your hands and feet at the same time, surrounding your feet and lower leg in a covering of your element. You can use Vine Fist, Burst Punch Flowing Cut, Zephyr Gauntlets, or Earthen Fist with your legs in addition to your arms, depending on your specialty.

  • Primal Absorption: Your Elemental Stone will constantly absorb elemental energy from your surroundings, allowing it to passively regain one charge every three posts. Using an ability that requires the use of a charge from your Elemental Stone will cause this recharge time to restart (e.g. If after two combat posts you use an ability that spends a charge, you must wait three more posts before this ability will replenish one). Out of combat, you can freely meditate for at least five minutes on the nature of your element to regain all five charge; this can be accomplished in a single post.

  • Green Fist:

    • Vine Pull: You are able to summon multiple vines that graple and pull you towards a desired direction(s). This allows you to move in unexpected ways. Additionally, by spending a charge from your Elemental Stone, you can use this ability you can twist vines into temporary structures such as a short bridge.



Level Five


  • True Primal Immunity: Your entire body develops an immunity to elemental energy of your branch. This includes both natural and magical manifestations of your element.

  • Perfected Manifestation:The Primal Fist can now manifest their element on their entire body, completely coating them in their element. The Primal Fist cannot do this if they have no elemental charges in their stone, but it does not require the Primal Fist to spend a charge. You can use Vine Punch,Burst Punch Flowing Cut, Zephyr Gauntlets, or Earthen Fist with any portion of your body at this point, depending on your specialty.

  • Green Fist:

    • Green Fury: This ability will instantly drain your Elemental Stone of all its remaining charges, and it must possess at least three charges to be activated. When activated, you will release a flurry of thick vines that thrash around you out to twenty-five feet from your body. The vines will do minor damage, but contain common and paralyzing poisons Additionally, for three posts none of your other abilities require the use of charges from your Elemental Stone and are augmented. You cannot regain any charges in your Elemental Stone for the rest of your current combat after activating Green Fury.

Primal Sigils

  • Nature Sigils

    • Gateway of Nature: This sigil creates a portal to the Elemental Plane of Nature. The Green Fist is capable of entering and exiting this Plane via this portal. This portal opens quite slowly and both sides are clearly visible to anyone that can see it. You cannot use this sigil from the Elemental Plane of Fire, but there are permanent portals that are connected to areas of Chaon that are closely connected to the element (e.g. Norwood Forest).
    • NatureWard: This sigil will activate as soon as someone attempts to pick up, open, or otherwise interact with the object upon which it was placed. The object will be surrounded by a tangle of poisoned vines that strike out at the anyone nearby. The vines can be dispelled, but otherwise will remain until the Green Fist commands it to dissipate.
    • Wall of Thorns: This ability cannot be activated unless at least two sigils have been inscribed within twenty feet of each other. This will create a forty-foot wall of thorny plants between the two of them. This barrier is a foot thick and will last for up to an hour before wilting away. Anyone attempting to pass through will find it difficult to cut down and will take damage if they attempt to climb over it. Up to four sigils can be linked in this manner.
    • Acid Bomb: This sigil can be placed on any object that can fit in the palm of your hand. When this object is thrown, it will cause an explosion of acid on impact. This explosion has a ten foot radius, and the acid is very persistent and will continue to eat away at a person if they do not spend time to whip it away.

Couple of things:

Even though this is a new branch for an existing PrC, you still cannot exceed 7 abilities. This cPrC submission has 22 abilities.

Also, may want to clean up the fire references scattered throughout!

Is there any way it can be added to the existing PRC?

It seems like it would fit the theme since it's just a different element.

Hey Aey I did help make this as the main goal was he wanted a nature themed branch and it is based off the actual existing branches. I guess this is a more formal PRC expansion request than a cPRC if you want to view that way. I would hate to have to pair this down to less abilities as that would difficult to do and maintain a balance with the rest of the Primal Fist.

Then I would make a suggestion in the suggestions forum for that. I like the idea, and see no problem with it...but it can't be a cPrC because of DA RULEZ.

And it probably wouldn't take any longer that route than through the cPrC shop, either.
