Goal: To destroy those who made her what she is - damning her to endless torment as a monster
General: Arrys is sadistic and prone to toying with people who amuse her - be it through pain or pleasure. While she enjoys causing pain to others and dominating them, she does not get kicks out of causing permanent damage or death. Broken toys are never fun, after all. Selfish and Self-Serving, Arrys finds little to gain in helping people for the sake of helping them. She was not always as such. Being taken advantage of before she was changed, as well as abused both before and after the change shaped Arrys in a very dreadful way. Now, she refuses to waste time assisting weak people unless she directly gains something as compensation - usually gold or supplies for her experiments. There is an exception to this, however: Children will be helped regardless of reward because they remind Arrys of what she used to be.
A hunger for the destruction of all involved in the creation of the monstrosity that she is consumes Arrys - vengeance seethes and boils in her mind almost every waking minute.
Of course, even one such as Arrys has her soft, tender traits. She enjoys the company of animals. If one dies near her, or she finds one that had died (and was not something ugly like a giant bug or snake) she will do what she can to restore it, though these restored creatures are simly skeletal versions of their living selves, though they retain their minds from life.
When it comes to it, Arrys will almost always put herself first, no matter who it harms or brings disadvantage to. To trust her implicitly is stupid unless she has reason to count you among her very few companions.
History
Once a rose of red and life, beautiful, but full of strife Now decayed and reeks of death, having breathed a final breath. What once was pure and spirit meek is now Fallen and with complexion bleak
Family meant for love and care left her nothing but pained despair. Brought her forth for life to be stripped, her spirit crushed in death's ghastly grip. Magics foul did bring her back, and she, her family's skulls did crack.
Beauty lost and darkness found, shriveled roots find not the ground Deaf to the music of life's true harp, with naught left but thorns so sharp. What once was beauty is left with spirit grotesque, and until vengeance is served, she will not rest.
Arrys was once human before her family - cultists of some dark death cult - "sacrificed" her to a dark idol. The cult's priests used dark magics to implant runed skulls into the young woman's flesh and skeleton. These skulls held magics meant for the use of what came next. After this gruesome step, Arrys was lowered into a pitch black pool. This pool, horrifically, was filled with living shadow - corrupting liquid that required a vessel to use its potent dark magics. After it was completely absorbed by Arrys' body, the shadow failed to win control of Arrys, whose spirit, consumed with vengeance and the shock of her family's actions, dominated her new resident. While only small figments of her former self still remain, Arrys is altered in extreme ways. Where once was a woman of good will and nothing like the rest of her family, all that remained was a twisted, sadistic undead being.
Beautiful, cunning, cruel. Vengeance has a name, and it is Arrys Faelen.
Magical Abilities
For the most part, Arrys' abilities are stemmed from myriad runed skulls embedded and implanted in various parts of her body. As she grows in power, she will be able to access more and more of these skulls, calling them forth at will in horrific and grotesque ways. Perhaps the most horrifying is the blood red skull that rests within Arrys' throat. It is visible if she opens her mouth wide enough, and it feels as though it is staring at you with deathly intent. Other places that hold the skulls (though no physical signs give tale of their placement until the magics are used) include the palms of Arrys' hands, and the center of her chest. These skulls will move to the surface of her pale skin and strike fear into those she counts as enemies, and unsettle those she does not.
