We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. The owl remained sitting on her shoulder, it was comfortable and he really did not have to do much himself. "Well, a topic? We could talk about dad if you wanna know more?" He suggested, seeing that he could not think about anything else. "Where to begin..." *Timeskip!* "and that is when I meet grandpa the first time..." Chris concluded, telling her about how he came to live with Kaess and how it all went with him meeting the old guys old guy for the first time. "I think we are getting closer. Look, the trees are getting larger and much older, the flowers are greener and the air is... well very fresh." The owl shifted position and examined the trees, there were no man-made paths here and only small trails created by animals. |

Malaure had enjoyed hearing about her brother and was surprised that Chris even knew her father. Geeze this guy knew her family betrer than she did. That was a little depressing in some ways... ah it seemed they had arrived at the entrance of what was probanly a druid domain. Chris was right it certainly was fresh around here. "Alright I guess we need to chose a path. If u ou have any sugfestions speak up. I think I will examin the paths we can see. I am no tracker, but maybe we can find clue on which path leads to our cure." She looked around nited she could smell slighly better than before. Was it the feline traits. She foinf tow tr ails smell odd. One was a big jumble ofoff different smells and was on a more beaten path. Perhaps a lot of animals passed through their. The second one just smelled difderent from the others and had she had no idea what that meant. She tokd Chris what she coild, but sort of failed atxdescribing smells. She waited sed if he slotred any other trails they might want to consider and then asked, "So which do you think we should go for? |

Chris turned his head from one side to the other, turning to look at the forest ahead of them. He ruffled his feathers a little. "Well seeing that I am an owl it is a little hard for me to track like I would do normally, you are the one with the nose now...but I suppose it is hard to do something you never done before... like me and flying" he flapped his wings a little as a sign to show this before returning focus to the problem at hand. "So we can do nothing but follow out gut feeling, take the larger trail, it seem like the kind of path made by animals on the way to drink at the spring... so that would be my guess." |

Malaure thought Chris' thoughts made sense. "Follow the animals... eh sounds resonable to me." She turned on to the path and fifteen mintues latter they found Iit had pronably been correct as they ran into a thorn wall that was clearly not natural. Druid magic protecting the spring probably. She woukd not be surprised if those thornsxwere poisoned or supper sharp. Not going to be climbing that she thought to herself. The trees were too dense to fly and she suspected their might be air mwgic gaurding the place too. Could not even climb the trees as the branches became tthin well before nearing the walls top. Malaure noted a tree with a sturdy branch and had an idea. The upper branches were not thick enough for her to get to, but maybe she could get Chris up there so he could see over the other side. "hey hold on a bit I am going to see if I can get you up to the higher braches then maybe you can climb a bit and see what is over this thorn wall. Hopefully it is our druid spring cure and you can find us a way in. Or if you can get in heal yourself and find a way to let me in from the other side. Sound like a plan?" If there was no objection she reached up and pulled her self up to the first branch. Once up she had Chris hop to her hand and reached up to the smaller upper branches. Even with her skill it was a hard trick and she only could put him in reach for a few moments before she had to drop her arms to rebalance herself. |

Chris examined the wall of thorns, looking from side to side as he was examining the surroundings. It did feel like a place for druids to meet in... not that he knew that much about them in the first place. "Well, this looks interesting..." he commented, followed by a small chuckle, or in his case a series of ho ho sounds of the kind done by owls. "Oh... I never get used to sounding like that, it was creepy." He then listened to her idea, it seemed like a sound plan and he was by far less heavy. "But druinds must have a way to get inside, or contact each other if someone is already in there. What if there are druids inside? I doubt they would be happy if I dropped in without an invitation..." He made a pause. "But, nah I never really cared if I was trespassing or not, so it should be fine. So go ahead..." The owl made himself ready and when Malaure held out her arm towards the higher branches he quickly climbed her arm and made a small jump aided by the flap of his wings to land on the branch. He was still not high enough to look over the wall and would need to climb higher. The process to do so was slow, he had to use his claws to climb and did his best to use the wings in order to make the process easier. But finally he made it high enough to get a clear view on what was on the other side. "Hmmm, looks like a spring to me, all watery and sparkly..." he commented down to his companion below. |

Malaure smiled widely. "Ah good we probanly have found it then. Soon we can get back to normal. Can you see anyone in there? Asking them for help might be the fastest method. Or can you see anything that might be an entrance? She hopped there actually was a druid as it would bexbesr to get permision. At the same time if there was nit a druud there was a certain excitement of sneaking into this place. She just hopped that Chris would spot something they could use to get in. She supposed he could always try jumping into the spring and fijding a way to let her in. In the end it was all up to him at this point. |

Chris looked around inside, his eyes trying to find some kind of movement... but he did not see anything. "No, I cannot see anyone in there" He replied slowly, then he made a pause to think, what should he do? He could try to glide over the wall and into the area? He flapped the wings a little, trying to get an idea on how far he would have to glide... "I'm going in" He called out before jumping and flapping his wings... it sort of worked. It did look very weird the way he tried to fly, but he ended up half-gliding and half-falling, over the thorns into the garden. *Silence....* "I'm ok!" Owl Chris slowly came to his feet and took a moment to get a closer look at the garden behind. It had a very pretty spring with pouring water surrounded by all manner of plant-life. "Hello? Is there anyone here?" He asked out into the air, waiting... and nothing but silence and the distant singing of birds. "I guess no one is here... now to find a way to get her inside..." the last he muttered to himself as he turned his attention to the large wall of thorns. He could of course burn it down, but it seemed like a very rude thing to do... "There must be a way to get in... from the tracks I see animals do come here and I doubt its all druids" |

Hmm that was perplexing perhaps it was a reactive spell. Clukdxshe ridexan animal in.... nah too dificult to follow a wild beast in and she doubted a tame one woukd be let in. Hmmm... maybe a hidden presure plate or button or a password. She hopped it was not a password.... well might as well let Chris get cured for now. "Alright you jump in and get your self cured then look for like a button or lever or some rune that might open a passage way. I will walk around this thing and ses if I see anything on this end." She started circling the thorn barrier looking for anytjong odd. Then af ain she had no idea what she was looking for. It was unliiely she woukd find anything on her first pass. |

"Yeah, you do that!" He called back before turning to move over to the spring. The water looked really nice and clear, he stepped out on a rock right in the water and examined his own reflection in the surface. "Well, it was a little fun being a bird, but my pack would never get it..." he muttered before jumping out into the water. It was really cold and wet... his feathers was soaked. The first few moments he just stood there in the water... waiting. Then he began to itch... and it continued to itch. The transformation back to his human form was a lot faster than he had imagine... his feathers began to fall off and turned to dust... within moments he no longer looked like an owl. He was once more himself. Chris quickly looked around to make sure everything was as it should be... yes, his tail was still there and the ears in place... he examined his fangs in the reflection... "ah yes, now that is a really handsome face" he commented, ruffling his own hair. "I'm ok! Now we just need to get you inside and.... OH!!" He hit himself on the forehead. "Silly me, if wildlife can get in, we just need to get some!" The boy knew that his pack would never stray to far from him. The weretiger placed both hands beside his mouth, took a deep breath of air and released a deep howling sound. For Malaure it was the sound of a howling wolf, which was the kind of sound that could make the hair at once neck stand. Once he was done Chris walked out from the spring. "Ok, they should have heard me... try not to provoke my pack when they arrive... they do not like strangers." He explained. It did not take more than about two minutes before bushes began to rustle two wolves walked out, one large male with black fur with grey streaks and one slightly smaller female with lightgrey fur and bright eyes. The two had also responded with their own howls earlier so their arrival was not really a secret. The two slowly sat down with their eyes glaring at Malaure. The male was the first one to move and he began to walk towards the side of the thorn, as he came closer the wall actually began to sink into the ground, making an opening. |

Malaure stopped in her tracks when she heard the howl and it took her several minutes to even move after the wolves showed up.... Chris could call wild wolves... he really was a creature of the forest. She slowly andakwardly made her way in past the thorn barrier. She was clearky nervous and also a bit distracred as she kept smelling something new. It was sort of enticing....she had never had this good a sense of smell until now. She then saw Chris who was naked. It seemded obvious after thinking about it as he had been owl and his clothes did not fit... wait ..... she quickly turned away as her brain caught uo with her from the shock. She remebered she had grabed his stuff and now took it out and tossed it to him. "Hey pease cover your self up quickly.." she also realized the enticing smell was coming from him . She had already thought he was cute efore, but in this part tiger form had new instincts it seemed and she was legitamately attracted to him. Her tail swished and little signs told the story. Even if Chris did not notice consciously his instincts would probably pick up on the signs. She waited for him to say it was okay to turn around, but clearly was blushing when she turned around. She intended to resist these feelings for now, but that was not easy. |

Chris greeted his little family when they arrived, or well the male first... the female followed after Malaure and the wall of thorn quickly closed behind them. The weretiger grinned at the companion, but was a little confused when she suddenly blushed and looked away, then she tossed the clothes to him... "Oh, I'm naked! Well would you look at that, really slipped my mind... haha" he pulled on his pants... which was basically what he was wearing. "I think you can look now, no need to be such a prude. Besides your really showing how much you really feel attracted to me right now..." It was more teasing then anything, he could read feline language very well and she was showing all the signs he himself could hide in the same situation, but seeing she was in a body that was unfamiliar it was no surprise she did not notice when she was sending all the wrong signals. "I think you might want to dip yourself and remove the curse." He walked a little to the side and gesture towards the water. As he did this he reached and began to rub the large wolf male behind the ear. |

Malaire felt even more mbaressed being comfronted by the fdeling in her brain and nodded in agreement. She wiedly dound it difu cult fo move though. The little signs became a bit stronger as she struggled with thes oddsents and senstions. She then realized it was because Chris was standing there. "Umm a few hings first one can you step out for just a bit. I can't seem to think strait near you right now.... Two I do not want to get my ckothes wet another reason for you to step out and no peaking you understand and three.... wh... what-do-you-think-of-me?You-can-answer-after-I-get-out." The last part was a bit rushed out, but after being confronted by her iner thoughts she had to ask that last question. Sue there was some influence from this different form, butcthe base interest was there. He waa adventrous, cute and most importantly an honest fellow. Best to get this sort of thing answered quickly to avoid akwardness latter. She waited a moment to see how he might answer and for him to step out before changing herself back in the spring. "Huh?" The young male looked a little confused at first, then he got it. Chris was not always the fastest when it came to notice these social things going on. "Oh, yeah... yes I can leave you alone, I will go over there to those trees with my back turned, come boy... let's leave the ladies alone..." He gave the wolf a path on the side as he walked away. "Yeah sure, I can answer that once your done. and you need not worry, she is also a girl." he waved a little, but did not look back. The large wolf male made a small sigh sound before standing up to walk with his master. Now the only one left was the smaller wolf female with the grey fur. She sat next to the water and was not really looking at Malaure, but she seemed to give of a calmer and less intimidating aura than her mate. Chris left her because he knew she was more likely to get along with others... she was that way. Edited by Christofer Daxer, Wed Jan 21, 2015 10:41 am.

Malaure was glad when Chris took most of his wolf friends out with him. They has been making hed nervous. The remaining one seemed to be a clam one and knowing it was also a girl helped. She spoke to the wolf a little, "Thanks for standing watch I guess. Hmm almost makes me wonder what you would say if you could talk common or I could speak wolf.". She watched carefulky for a moment and then quickly changed and took a dip. She soon felt herself return to normal and sighed in relief. It was nice to be her normal self again. That fur stufff was realky itchy at times too. She used a rag from her pack to dry herself off a bit and put on her clothes. She could not fet fully dry so they clung to her a bit, but they were not really wet. She had kept an eye out to see if he tried peeking at any point. She then slowly walked out to where Chris was waiting. "Ah good to be myself again." Being nervous she did not look directly at Chris when she saw him. Her tail had twisted around to her front and a hand played with it, like a girl might play with a lock of hair. A habit of hers at times and one she was not always aware if. Still she want d to hear his answerxespecialky since he had been able to think about it for a good ten or fifteen minutes. It really was unfair of a temporary body to betray her emotions and thoughts like that... so it only made sense to hear Chris' thoughts.... |

The female wolf looked towards her when she talked, tilting her head to the side in a somewhat curious manner... it was likely she did not understand much of what the girl said. But...maybe she did? It was hard to tell and the wolf did seem to have surprisingly kind eyes, and intelligent once. She joined Malaure as she walked out to Chris, walking a few yards ahead of her and taking a seat next to her mate outside. During all this Chris had made himself comfortable in the grass at the edge of the clearing, he did not have a problem to make himself comfortable in most places! "Sure is" He agreed and looked up at her with a friendly grin, sitting up and crossing his legs. "You good to go?" He asked, getting to his fear. "oh... and about what you wanted to know, sure your attractive and I wont deny that. But your still sort of my aunt... I know it is weird, but I would not be able to look dad in the eyes if I ended up... with his sister." He took it all very calm. "or gramps... I mean your dad is my grandfather..." He rubbed the back of his own neck. "I usually never really... think about things like this very much, but you wanted to know." |
