Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

It was revealed that their problem extended even further than the simple forgeries of Sulla Marconi. He was a mere part of a larger ring dealing subpar arms under the name of Kirsikka Enterprises. Nomad decided to re-hire her freelancer ally by the alias Raven, taking him back to Striberg to search for the source of the injustice and efficiently take care of it. Nomad paused in front of a multi-floor but otherwise modest building in the business district of Striberg. "This is Kirsikka Enterprises headquarters," was her only explanation to Corvo before she entered. Lumi's secretary at ground level gave them both a warm greeting upon entering.

"Miss Lumi isn't in right now, Nomad. Sorry," she added as though anticipating the question.

The agent shook her head. "That's okay. We have other work we need to do."

Nomad urged her partner-in-crime to follow her downstairs. One of the smaller side-rooms of the headquarters' basement was filled with boxes of documents. The agent pulled up a seat at the small table in the corner and gestured for Corvo to sit as well.

"We k-keep careful records," she said. "Look for gaps. Or mentions of the name Camus."

After traveling to Striberg, Corvo and Nomad, went to KE headquarters. They were told by the secretary that the famous Lumi Kirsikka was not there. Nomad showed him to the Kirsikka Enterprises' record room. The room was filled to the brim with boxes. Corvo sat down with Nomad, he was debating whether the "Camus" he knew was the one they were looking for. He checked the record for any mention of a Camus in Istan. After searching through three boxes, he found something at last.

"I found a 'Camus', he resides in Southern Istan. 'Camus' is the name of a traveling arms merchant, near my hometown in Southern Istan. Because of the man's proximity to the Gwilikith Mountains, he would recieve shipments of arms from the orc blacksmiths. The Orcs made weapons that were cheap, unreliable fakes of other weapon-smith's work. Some corrupt Istani soldiers know about the racket, but as long as they get their cut they look the other way. Maybe with the help of Captain Zaman, we can end this arms circle."

Nomad listened to Corvo's explanation without looking up at him, still flipping quickly through the stack of files in one of the boxes and scanning the names labeling them. "Interesting. We j-just recently started selling to the Army of Istan. I remem-mmber Miss Lumi being excited about it. Our records are short and well-documented." She put away her current box and searched for a different one on the shelves of their archives. The agent finally procured a thick file of important documents and receipts and plopped it on the table between them. "This could be very bad for business. The Army of Istan has the potential to be our single biggest customer, but if the frauds make us lose their trust in our quality..." Nomad trailed while she was flipping through the papers. "Well, we need to kill the whole ring and get those corrupt soldiers arrested."

There were, in fact, a couple small gaps in the records previously overlooked. Correspondence with the army's supply masters revealed a couple times when shipments were redirected to other units because of a supposed error. "Somehow Camus' ring knows where our weapons are supposed to ship," she said, pointing to one of the logs in particular. "And they g-get the shipments there early, probably because they're so close. Then when ours arrive they're marked as redundant and redirected somewhere else." She looked up to Corvo. "I've n-nnever been to Istan, so you will need to be my guide. We need to keep a lookout for corruption inside our own organization, too, if Camus can pull off this deception. And who is Captain Zaman?"

Nomad informed Corvo about KE's dealings with the Istani Army. While she spoke, Corvo couldn't help but notice Nomad's stutter. During their mission in Norwood he never noticed it. Ever since they had entered Kirsikka Enterprise's Headquarters an aura of power and dominance swept over him. The few employees they had seen were humbled and submissive went the famous Lumi Kirsikka was mentioned. Corvo assumed that was the source of the stutter. Not wanting to offend Nomad, he didn't ask.

Nomad told Corvo she hadn't been to Istan, which somehow wasn't that surprising. She seemed like someone who would be more at home in the woodlands. Even though she had never been to Istan, Corvo thought she would've at least heard about the revered Captain Zaman. "Captain Zaman is one of the most respected in the Istani Army. She is respected by all, and the nightmare of her foes. If anyone could help us crush the arms ring, it would be her."

Nomad nodded earnestly. "Good. We need all the h-help we can get." She closed the files in front of her and packed them carefully into the boxes where she had found them. The agent didn't want to throw off the organization's careful recordkeeping, which the dedicated secretary they greeted earlier was mostly responsible for. Standing, she regarded Corvo. "Pack up your things. We'll board the airship to Istan City as soon as you're ready."

The horn of the Blue Diamond, Striberg's main connection to Istan City, blared over the ever-present murmur surrounding them. The humongous vehicle glided down to a tall port tower, ready to be received by a pair of stern Istani men sweating under the sun. Once it was docked, Nomad and Corvo disembarked and made a beeline toward the army headquarters, where Captain Zaman was (or where someone who could alert them of her current position was). Unlike the rest of the army, Zaman was the captain of an urban cohort: a group of soldiers existing for the sole purpose of protecting the city. To their luck, she was found within her office on one of the basement floors of the headquarters.

The Captain was a tall, dark-skinned woman with a cautious, intelligent bearing. Her office was a little messy, with a few bookshelves piled with random tomes and documents. There were no decorations inside except for a small portrait of her family hanging on the wall across from her desk. She looked up at them. "Can I help you?" She spoke in Common, but her voice had a heavy Istani accent that was a bit hard to understand at times.

Nomad approached, placing a small business card on her desk. "I am an agent of K-Kirsikka Enterprises. We need some assistance on handling a fraudulent arms ring running near the city, and I was told you would be of help."

It took a while for her to completely process what Nomad was saying, but she finally responded after a short delay. "A fraud?"

"Yes. It appears some orcs in the mountains nearby are mm-manufacturing shoddy weapons and s-s-selling them under Kirsikka name to the army for cheap. We found g-gaps in our logs that suggest this. It's headed by a man named Camus--"

"Camus?" Zaman instantly recognized the name. She set her quill in its inkwell and folded her hands on her desk, leaning forward with interest. "I know of that rat. What thing exactly may you need from me, Kirsikka Enterprises agents?" The guard looked to both of them.
