You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Vash opened the large wooden doors of the cathedral, peering inside to see a few candles barely burning inside. He hesitated to walk inside because if he found any life he would be ashamed to walk inside. He was not a religious man but he wasn’t going to hate the ornate architecture of the cathedral. He stood on a stone path waiting for a sound to be made but there was nothing but death surrounding the cathedral. Vash smiled and advanced inside of the church and taking his wand from its holster he calmly walked down the aisle. Vash looked at the architecture and was astonished at its beauty but yet he noticed that the beauty was tarnished by time he would not accept this even if he was not religious he wanted to keep this place as beautiful as he could and reaching the altar he sat down on the right pew and felt a book underneath his seat. He took the book from underneath the seat and noticing the char on the cover opened it and he could see that not only flames but time had taken this book into its grip and spat it out into the world. He attempted to read its pages but the ink had become so faded he could not read it and then from the candle light he noticed another book with what seemed to be a golden spine of the book and black lettering on the front of the book. He wanted to enjoy this place as though it were in its glory even if that meant trying to believe in something he didn’t himself believe that was fine. He began to approach the altar and taking the rather small book by the spine, he took it back to his seat. Vash started to read the first word but was completely unable to. He sat there for what seemed like years trying to recall a language like this one but to no prevail he sat the book next to himself and began to look at the now cob web clouded architecture of this old cathedral as if to try and draw inspiration from the building. |

I think that is somewhat similar to a bible V's words came like blades through the silence, he pointed to the small book the man had in his hands. He aproached the man garbed in a red cloak he notice a holster with a strange looking wand inside and concluded that he must be a mage of sorts. After he looked at the man for a few seconds he turned and took in the scenery, the place was old and worn but still very buitiful the statues lining the walls depicked towering gods and he thought to himself that once before these halls rang with spirit. This place is magnificent dont you agree. As he said this he guestured tword the man and almost forgot to introduce himself. I am V just V please to make your aquaintence may i ask your name. He pulled his hand out to shake the mans hand but then remembered the burn marks on his body which included his hands, and cringed at the thought of the horrable incident so many years ago. The fire was horrable but if it were not for the fire he would not be the same man he is today. V was about to turn away and leave this place hen a thought poped into his head but at the same time it left so with the same smile that was portrayed on the small mask he wears he said in a small yielding tone Remember remember And with that he turned and started to leave. |

Vash smiles and turns his head down the aisle looking for the man and with book and wand in hand, Vash blinks in the pew closest to the man and smiles. He waits to see the man’s face but then he notices his mask. His odd mask, Vash had never seen the design before but he could see the scratches of combat and the stories each scratch held. He began to look for other signs of combat or what kind of combatant this man was but he could not find a sign of whether he was a caster like him or a true warrior. Vash then said “If you plan on leaving me behind think again. Please have a seat I have no intention of combat, as I can see you have had enough of that. Though you can take a rest from the world and perhaps we can chat about this book.” Vash holds up the book the man had called and then giving hope for the man Vash moved over a few feet into the pew allowing the man to take a seat. Vash as he waited for the man and opened the pages of the book to find a picture, he found in the beautiful golden pages images and languages that he still did not understand and then as he looked upon the pages he felt as though he did not have enough light to truly take in the beauty of the book. Vash looked around and noticed a kind of chandelier with a large candle hanging above the two men. Vash took out his gun and said “Let there be light” and fired a small controlled fireball to hit the wick of the candle and lit the candle. |

V was now astonished as the man garbed in red apeered in the pews next to him. This action startled V, and then he remembered that this man is a mage and is capable of doing such actions. The man slid over a bit signaling for V to sit next to him because he was friendly, so he indulged by taking the empty seat next to the man and then he noticed the man was holding the same book as he earlier pointed out. Although he could not read it he new it had some religious values by the strange pictures printed on it. The book was irrelivant now because V had a new propasition for him which included that he join up with himself for a valient quest of sorts. what this journy entails i do not know but thats the expirience isnt it. I know you look of the adventurous sorts so what do you say. While he waited for his response V began to take off his mask but then stopped when his mind ventured back to the horrific fire that broke out that day, and in such did not want to frighten the grown man sitting beside him. So what do you say. Wanna come. |

Vash laughed, he was asked to take an adventure with one that won’t even show Vash his face. I might be swayed to go if there is an incentive. Not a bribe but more of a kind of place or sight we may see or possibly a bit more information on this book. Vash flipped to a page though it was not bound to the book it was inside a small sheet of parchment that seemed to be the church shown four times, one for each angle you see it. Then Vash noticed a small door on the outside on the east side of the building and flipping over the sheet it said: The basement is now hoarded by those of the evil and we must not go down there But in order to go down you must ask the preacher to have the key. Vash smiled and said these words. I seemed to have found a small piece of parchment and all we must do is find the key from the preacher, whatever that is. I will embark on this quest with you but if you decide against it I will just depart. |

This man named vash was now sort of agreeing with him on a adventure, but none came to his mind so he began to think of one. But just as he did this vash spoke out in the samr voice that he had done before, so V looked directly at him and noticed a small piece of parchment in his hands that obviously came from the book he had been so keenly interested in. The little piece of parchment spoke of a secret evil somewere in this cathedral that the only way inside was with a key that apparently the previouse preacher had. How shall we aquire this key if this place looks diserted, we are the only people in here right now. The place indeed was dead in the sence that it was completely empty except fore them. If we are gonna find this key we might have to split up and check some of these indevidual rooms alright. With this V turned around and started twords a door that looked locked but the door was rotten with age, meaning he could see right through it. As he reached the door he turned around to look at vash. You coming. |

Vash stood and immediately blinked to the podium. There was no reason for him to walk he wanted to find the key so he could see what was down there. He searched all around the podium but found nothing. He began to walk toward the lit candles. He could see a tapestry on the wall, though burnt and destroyed, was brighter then everything. He could see a faint glow come from its sides. Vash walked towards the tapestry. Look. Vash had found a small opening in the wall with a staircase leading down. Maybe it’s an escape route out of this place. It might have what we are looking for. Vash grabbed the candle mounted to the wall and began to walk. He didn’t know if the man that was helping him find the key was behind him or not. If he was, Vash could not see him. The candle provided such small amount of light in this small passage of winding stair going downward. He could feel the cold darkness being pierced with his candle. All of a sudden Vash missed a step. He almost tripped but recovering from loss of balance he stumbled into a thick wall. He hit the wall but it was solid. The path was a dead end and they fell for it. Vash wondering what he tripped over saw a missing brick in the stairs. Be careful seems this was a dead end which means we could be in a trap. |
