| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Zenjirou looked down at the man he had been forced to kill... it had gotten boring, he slowly spins his scythe, something he had acquired on a previous mission. He looked had already put odd arcane runes all over the house in the blood of the man's children and wife, though he had still tried to bribe him, he took the bribe to, and then swiftly slaughtered the man with his scythe, the demon that had taken up residence in his body seemed to thoroughly enjoyed the treachery, though what he had been given puzzled them both, it was a page from a book, it shined and glittered even in darkness. He shrugged, he would have some of Lumi's people examine it, it might be worth a pretty penny. He looked down at his new pitch black skin, his left arm was still stained red, but it also had a streak of purple blood leading from the back of his wrist to his elbow, djinn blood seemed to have granted that minor wish even in death... good thing he burned the body. He wiped off the blade of his scythe onto a table cloth, afterward he walked out and shoved the paper into his pocket, putting the scythe back into it's loop on his back, his three katanas hanging at his hip as he walked, it had been a good night. |

Rin paused on the outskirts of the city, looking at the iceberg metropolis with an expression of pure amazement. She had never seen a city like this; not even Cascadia could compare with the city of magic. The city seemed to top the floating iceberg like a crown, sparkling in the arctic air. Even though snow was falling heavily on the town, there seemed like there was an invisible barrier surrounding the entire area, reducing the precipitation from frosty flakes to droplets of rain. She giggled at the sight. It had taken a long time for her to travel all of the way to this forsaken corner of Imythess. Walking through the Dragon Spine Mountains had almost killed the girl, but thankfully she had met a kind Istani monk who had helped her to garb herself in a fashion appropriate for the northern reaches. She still wore her typical sundress and silvery ribbons around her forearms and shins, but over this she now wore a thick, double-breasted coat, a scarf that was wrapped around her lower face and neck, and a thick pair of moose-fur gloves and boots. The only accessory she had outright refused was a hat; she did not like the sensation of having perches on her head so tightly. Over this entire ensemble she still wore the fur cloak she had 'acquired' from an unguarded clothesline in the mountains. Altogether, the girl now looked like a native to the northern reaches, completely protected against the frigid air. She shuffled through the snow towards Striberg, smiling brightly. She was finally closing in on another page of the Grand Grimoire, the sentient tome that had both created Rin's body and her sole purpose in life. She was the book's guardian, designed to travel the world and collect its lost pages. She was finally converging on another one of its fragments; thankfully it seemed to be located in the city instead of somewhere else in the frozen north. She walked across the icy bridge leading into the city, booted feet crunching in the snow. As soon as she passed the perimeter of the city the girl realized why the snow found no purchase in Striberg. Although the surrounding tundra was so cold that her spit could freeze, the interior of the magical city was warm enough that she was actually uncomfortable under all of her layers. She shifted her satchel so that it was more easily accessible underneath the fur cloak. Inside that backpack were all of her limited belongings, including her primary weapon, a razor-sharp longsword. It was very rare for her to collect a page without having to draw her weapon or draw on her Grimoire-given powers... The girl walked through the streets, shedding layers as she did so. The cloak went first, as well as the scarf and the gloves. She shoved all of the clothes into her satchel, making sure that the hilt of her weapon was more accessible. Although her internal compass had indicated the page had been stationary for the week she took to reach Striberg, for the first time she could sense that the page was moving throughout the Striberg streets. She began to follow the trace of the Grimoire's power, threading her way through the city's streets. She soon reached an intersection. Now it seemed like the page was drawing... closer to her. The girl leaned against a lamppost on the street corner, folding her arms in what she hoped was a non-threatening posture. If she was lucky she would soon encounter whoever was in possession of this page... hopefully it wouldn't be too difficult to recover this one. |

Zenjirou looked down the street, a little girl standing there, what was she doing out this late... he wasn't in the mood to murder a child, Striberg children didn't scream as loudly as kids from the spoiled families or poor families of Cascadia. He walked closer and saw the girl staring at him, he grinned, maybe she was just there to mark him and an entire gang of men would jump out for him to slaughter, that would be fun, he'll play along for now, though once the combat starts Sangue Lupo would be used against his foes. He walked down the street and smirked, "Little girl, you should be in bed... but if you're here to mark me for theft or an attack on my person, then I'll cut down your allies in a flash." He grinned, he could feel the dark power he had absorbed licking around his fingers, it would surround his blade once he grabbed it, he was going to become chaos incarnate and no roving gang using little girls as bait would stop him. He looked at her again, noticing no one coming out, no clatter of boots signaling a retreat or anything that might even vaguely signal a retreat, he looked down at her as he took a few steps forward, "You're alone, aren't you little girl? Aren't you afraid of the cultists walking the streets and murdering people? You should get going little girl, before the cultists strike the streets." Of course it was a lie, there was no cultists, he was the real murderer and he just wanted to frighten the girl, killing her wouldn't give him much, if any, pleasure at the moment. |

The page slowly drew closer, and Rin grew more and more nervous as it did so. Who could possibly be moving around with one of the Grimoire's fragments at this time of night? Her question answered itself quickly as a solitary figure walked down the street directly towards her. The man had an incredibly odd appearance. His face was jet-black, as if his features had been carved out of obsidian, and it was a harsh contrast with his obscenely bright multi-colored hair. One arm was an unnatural shade of red, reminding the girl of freshly spilled blood. He was also carrying enough weapons to be categorized as a walking arsenal instead of a lone man. A scythe hung over one shoulder, and three blades rested against his hip. She was not sure how he could possibly utilize so many weapons at once, but he seemed incredibly comfortable carrying around a miniature armory. The girl realized with a start that she had been staring, and now this clearly dangerous individual was advancing directly towards her. She bit her lip nervously and brushed a strand of blond hair out of her face, but made no attempt to reach for her blade. This was not an individual to be trifled with. When he accused her of being bait for some roving gang she shook her head vehemently. "No! That is not why I am here at all!" The man did not seem to care about her protests, merely grinning wildly at her. It was a feral expression, one she had only seen on wolves and other beasts before, and she felt her stomach tie itself in a knot. There was something wrong about this man. He reeked of malice and danger, as if he was always just a moment away from tearing his blades out of their sheathes and attacking whoever was closes to him. Usually, she would simply let such a dangerous man keep walking, but she somehow knew that he possessed the page she was searching for. She could not see or hear anyone else walking the streets at this time of night, and the page was so close to her that her entire body seemed to be tingling. "I am not afraid of cultists... Or you." Rin placed her hands on her hips, leaning forward to stare directly into the man's eyes. They were as red as blood, matching the odd coloration of his arm. "I have just as much right to be on these streets as you. I am searching for something!" She glanced at his weapons once more, mentally deliberating if this was truly the wisest course of action. Of course, the Grimoire had programmed her to always seek out its pages with all of her power, so she barely had any choice at all. "In fact, I believe you have what I seek. I would appreciate it if you gave it to me." She did not reveal what it was she was looking for, although she suspected he already knew. It did not take long for the mortals who found the Grimoire's pages to discover its reality-altering powers. If this man was as dangerous and unbalanced as he seemed, it was pivotal that she recovered the page from him as quickly as possible. Otherwise there might be another situation like the Red Lily Man, and this time she would not have Ezekial or the Taras guards to help her fight the deranged individual... |

He chuckled, the girl had spunk, he liked killing people with spunk. When he heard her saying he had what she was looking for... the only thing that came to mind was the page, he reached into his pocket and showed it to her, "Is this it? The magic page I found... sorry kiddo, this is going to my boss for inspection, if she doesn't want it, you can have it, but if you're feeling impatient... how about we fight, it will be until one person gives up or dies, whoever wins will decide the page's fate. How do you like it little girl, do you want to play with me?" He gave her his most psychotic wide grin, his eyes widening as he put the page back into his pocket, unsheathing Sangue Lupo, kissing the blade and licking the edge, he could taste the steel blade and it made him want to kill even more. He didn't wait for her to answer, he placed both hands on the katana's hilt, his first strike was fast but beyond basic fighting, his slash as aimed at her leg, but flashed upward to strike at her armpit, he was a master swordsman, what hope could this little girl have to hurt him... let alone stop him from fighting. He could feel the energy from his demon flow into the blade, giving it a black aura, it was mostly just for show, but it did allow his spells to do more damage to people, he had no special sword techniques, no shockwaves, slashing energy or anything that he's seen from other swordsman, he would simply have it there for intimidation. |

Rin's eyes widened as the man casually displayed the object she had traveled her to obtain. The spidery writing on the glowing paper seemed to be in constant flux, with shifting diagrams appearing on the paper before being covered up by more words. She reached out eagerly for the treasure when the man put it away, mentioning that he planned on presenting it to his boss. The girl's eyes instantly narrowed, all warmth and friendliness vanishing from the blue depths in an instant. They were replaced with a steely determination and an icy ruthlessness. "That page belongs to me. You will give it to me. Now." But this man was paying her almost no attention whatsoever, smirking as he challenged her to a fight. Clearly he believed she was not a worthy opponent due to her physical appearance. Most people did not expect a teenage girl to be able to fight as capably as any hero from legend... but they would be wrong. Rin's physically body had been programmed with the combat knowledge of dozens of heroes, men legendary for their skill and strength... but was more terrifying was her absolute ruthlessness. She would willingly kill anyone who stood between her and a page of the Grand Grimoire, as she had proven time and time again. "Very well. Let's play." The man attacked her almost instantly, as if he had planned on slashing at her regardless of her response. Only the construct's naturally fast reflexes and unique abilities saved her. As the katana slashed towards her frame she closed both hands as if they were wrapped around the shaft of a weapon, murmuring softly to herself. The words seemed to echo loudly, as if they were in a room with astounding acoustics instead of a vacant street in Striberg. "Gae Bulg." The air around her hands shimmered as reality realigned to suit the girl's pleasure, the legendary weapon forming in her grasp almost instantly. The katana struck the copper-colored shaft of the lance with a metallic crash, rebounding from the summoned weapon. The spear had been carved from the bones of a magical sea monster, a unique material just as hard and unyielding as masterworked steel. The spearhead was an odd spade-like shape, with razor-sharp edges. The true danger of the weapon were the barbs that lined each edge of the spear, seven on each side. They made the polearm incredibly painful to be struck with, and almost impossible to remove from a serious injury. It was often less painful to cut out the stricken flesh than to try and physically pull out the spear. Time to see if Zaki's training will pay off... Although the Istani monk had trained Rin in the basics of fighting with a polearm, she was still far more proficient in the use of bladed weapons. She was skilled enough with a sword to be considered a sword saint by anyone's standards, but none of her arsenal of mythological weapons would have been a good choice in this situation. Carnwennan was too small to effectively counter a katana, Excalibur was useless for parrying physical attacks, and Laevateinn would have been too cumbersome in such close quarters. She really had no choice but to fight with the legendary spear. She slammed the butt of the spear towards Zenjirou's temple, stepping forward to give the blow some extra strength and speed. PErhaps he would be surprised enough at her conjuring of the weapon to fall prey to such a simple maneuver. |

He smirked, she could summon weapons, she would be fun to play with, special skills and abilities always add some fun to these fights. He ducked the blade, using his fast reflexes to bring another slash at her, aimed for her stomach, trying to force her away, she had reach on him, his katana was his preferred weapon though, he just needed to keep on striking. He rushed her, sending a flurry of strikes mixed with feints at her, his strikes switching targets and directions at the last second, slashes turning into thrusts sometimes or his strikes going through, hoping to catch her off guard. He leaped backwards, placing the katana on his shoulder as he tapped his foot, "You're decent kid, but you like real training, I've been murdering and fighting for years... though I like that look on your face." He brought out his own sadistic smile, "You look a lot like me... in fact from your fighting I'd say you're a killer, a murderer, someone who will do anything for what you need... it makes me so happy to know someone is as sick and twisted as myself... makes me feel like I have a little sister." He let out a short maniacal laugh, it was so true, her look when she was fighting was like his own, maybe he met a kindred spirit, one he would have to kill, there was only enough room for one murderer in this city. |

Rin fell back under the onslaught of blows, using the entire length of the polearm in a frenzied attempt to block all of the attacks. She could tell almost immediately that this man was incredibly proficient int he use of a sword; in fact, he might be as skilled as the girl herself. Despite the longer reach of her weapon, she was still struggling to land even a single attack due to his constant slashes, jabs, and cuts that flowed flawlessly from one attack to the next. She redirected several mortal blows so that they left superficial injuries instead of dead ones, lines of red blood appearing on her cheek, left shoulder, and upper thigh. She grit her teeth at the sharp sensation of pain, but almost immediately blocked out the feeling. Rin was no mere mortal; her intense focus allowed her to ignore any small pains from cuts and bruises, and she had managed to keep the demonic assassin from landing any blows serious enough to even impede her movements. When the man jumped away from her she considered overextending herself to stab at his stomach, but she held back at the last instant. A moment of weakness or overconfidence would be enough to end this bout, probably with her head rolling in the street. Her blue eyes never left the obsidian face as the man talked boisterously, comparing the two of them. He had somehow sensed that she was no stranger to killing, although it was probably her combat skills that had tipped him off. Rin had killed many men and women in her pursuit of the Grimoire's pages; an entire village had been destroyed by her ruthless decision to take the page that served them as a water source. Their fate had been far kinder than the score of individual she had outright slaughtered in her various adventures across Imythess. The girl felt absolutely no remorse for these actions; after all, she had not been created with remorse in mind. "I am nothing like you, if you enjoy to kill. I will simply end anyone who stands in the way of my quest. Like you." Rin ran forward at Zenjirou, eyes narrowed and the shaft of the spear clenched in both hands. As soon as she got within range she stabbed forwards with the spear, but the maneuver was a feint. She changed direction instantly, bounding to one side so that her feet slammed against the brick wall of the building there. She brought the spear down in a heavy two-handed blow as she shot sprung past the assassin, instantly jumping away as soon as she landed. She spun ionstantly, stabbing forward at the man's torso several times in a random pattern, hoping that at least one of her blows with the barbed spearhead would connect with his blackened flesh. |

Zenjirou chuckled, as he side stepped, hoping to dodge the spear, only to notice her leap onto the wall, he saw her bring it down with two hands, he copied her move slightly, putting his foot on the wall and using it to kick himself out of the way with a short jump. He quickly sheathes his katana and focuses on dodging the thrusts, he grunts as one of the barbs rip open his clothing and cuts his skin, he growled as he reaches behind him, taking out his scythe, spinning it to deflect the next stab, stepping in while swinging it, trying to hook her leg and slice it open, maybe even tripping her in the process. He chuckles as he unleashes his own barrage of attacks, switching from attacking with the scythe blade to the butt of the scythe, constantly making sure to keep the scythe moving and spinning, he needed to keep on moving, use the momentum in every attack, gain a little more and attack again. He chuckled as he fought her, "You've probably tricked so many people with that innocent face of yours... you're even more of a monster then me! You're what, twelve? Thirteen years old perhaps? Yet you're fighting and killing for pages of some book, I pity the poor fools who trusted you, they must have been to weak to realize what you really are... a Monster." He kept his attacks focused on her upper body, winding up a large slash at her neck, though it was a feint, instead he used the momentum of the swing to send himself into a low kick, aimed at her leg, hoping to trip her up in combat. |

Rin's lips spread in a fierce smile as the tip of the Gae Bulg managed to catch Zenjirou's arm, the barbs ripping a gash on his body, dying the edge of the copper spearhead with crimson blood. His response was lightning quick, resheathing his katana and whipping the scythe off of his back in order to completely block her next attack. The girl jumped back, attempting to quickly account for the extreme change in his effective range. The curved blade of the scythe traced a crooked line down her left shin. She hissed in pain and annoyance as her own blood began to drip from the gash, rivulets of bright red dripping down her ankles to puddle on the street. The shock of the injury distracted her enough to allow the assassin to take the advantage, attacking her in a frenzy. Rin managed to keep the scythe from cutting her flesh again, taking advantage of the awkward shape of his weapon's blade. They were apparently evenly matched with polearms, neither able to make a clean strike on the other, the two weapons clashing with metallic rings that echoed across the empty street. "I... am nothing... like you." Her words were punctuated by pauses when she blocked an attack from Zenjirou or stabbed out herself, her entire attention focusing on the combat in those moments. She twirled to one side, holding the spear completely vertically so that it halted another blow from the butt of the scythe. "A monster... would enjoy this..." She whipped her weapon back into a defensive posture, her eyes fierce. "I do not. You simply do not deserve to live." The assassin's next blow hooked around the shaft of the Gae Bulg, tearing the spear from her arms. She ducked under what appeared to be a heavy slash at her neck as the spear was flung away, rolling a little distance down the street. The attack was a feint, however, a realization she reached only after the man's leg had already hooked behind her knee. She did not fight against the blow, folding her legs so that her entire body arched backwards. She planted both hands on the ground, throwing herself into a back handspring to put a little distance between her and Zenjirou. As she landed the girl called on the Grimoire's power once more, the air around her hands warping and distorting. "Laevateinn!" In an instant she held a sword of such massive proportions it seemed impossible to wield effectively. The hilt was two feet long, with a blade easily three times that length and with a fire pattern engraved around the edge. Rin jumped into the air, swinging the greatsword in a massive two-handed blow towards Zenjirou's skull. afterwards she swiped the sword at him several times, the strikes noticeably slower but much more powerful. |

Zenjirou smirked, he had disarmed her, though the fact that she could summon more then one magical weapon wasn't a surprise, he to carried many weapons. What scared him was the massive size of the blade, he immediately side steps as her large blow comes down at him, what a huge and useless blade, he would be far to fast for that thing. He drops the scythe and draws Sangue Lupo once again, charging her, hoping to catch her off guard, only to back pedal as she let out a series of short slashes, he chuckled and looked at her, "Enjoy? You don't have to be a monster to enjoy it. The worst monsters are the ones who kill without feeling anything, didn't you know? Murder and the like happens because someone is seeking pleasure, it's a very human quality, but if someone is killing and is not fulfilling their own desires... then they are truly monstrous." He took his chances, dashing in, hoping to get in close, but that blade was a nuisance, he had to duck and weave, constantly move and sometimes even back pedal, it was like taking one step forward and two steps back sometimes, but he eventually saw it, his time to strike. He rushed immediately after a slash, he knew she could bring back her blade to block it, it didn't matter that he cut, he just needed to go back on the offensive. He brought his slash up, slashing at her waist, afterward he just slashed and feinted as he did before, making sure to conceal his pattern, targeting the arms and legs, trying to draw her blade away from her body, yes, yes, attack faster, slowly, slowly, draw her blade away. He saw his moment, thrusting forward, he had nothing to lose and everything to gain, if Sangue Lupo hit or even nicked her, a torrent of blood would start from it's enchantment. |

Rin reached forward with her right hand to grip the crossguard of the weapon, her other hand slipping down the hilt to clutch the ruby on the greatsword's pommel. The man dropped his scythe, once more drawing one of his numerable swords instead. Although it was an incredibly unorthodox stance, it allowed her to wield the massive blade much more efficiently, constantly swiveling the wide blade to block the katana strikes or catch the assassin's blade on the half of the crossguard she wasn't holding. She took several steps backwards from Zenjirou during a short hiatus in the sword fight, glaring at the man. "You are operating under one incorrect assumption. I am not human, so your definition of a monster does not apply to me. How dare you judge me." She pulled her lips back in a fierce snarl that eerily mirrored the assassin's expression. "Allow me to show you how terrifying a being created for one purpose can be... Despite her mastery with the blade, the wetboy matched her attacks and parries step for step. He was proving to be as expert as a swordsman as she had initially suspected, which was worrisome. Due to the massive nature of her weapon the only way she was able to keep up with the katana's slashes was by constantly pivoting and twirling around the black-skinned man. He managed to dash forward after one of her heavy strokes, running so close to the ground it seemed almost impossible to get within her reach. Suddenly the girl was blocking his attacks with the hilt and crossguards of the sword, unable to pull the greatsword back to bring the entire length of the blade into play. She snarled in annoyance as he slashed upwards at her waist, only barely managing to interpose the crossguard in order to stop him from disemboweling her thin frame. His next attack was too fast for her to dodge, scoring a deep cut along her shoulder. Rin spun backwards, whipping the sword in front of her to keep the assassin at bay for a moment. The girl looked at the wound on her shoulder for a moment, frowning. Although it was not the most serious injury, blood was still gushing from the injury. The girl glared at her opponent, feeling the warm liquid running down her arms. The construct traced a finger along the runes on the flat of the blade, smiling broadly. "Ragnarok." Suddenly flames burst into flame along the length of the still, a whirling inferno coating the length of the blade. With an agonized grimace she laid the weapon against the wound on her shoulder, searing the injury closed in a flash. Wisps of smoke raised into the air as the scent of charred flesh rose into the air. The girl rotated the limb methodically, wincing at the aching wound. Withina few days the burn would heal, and for now it was the easiest way to keep herself in prime condition. At least it had caused the wound to stop bleeding. Rin stepped forward, spinning on one foot as she tore Laevateinn through the air on the level of Zenjirou's ankles, the sword still wrapped in hot flames. She continued to twirl as she rose into a crouch, slashing once more at his waist level, continuing her momentum into a third strike aimed directly at his face. By the third atytack the massive greatsword was moving so fast it was just a blur of polished steel and red-orange flames.

He chuckled, "Judge? Not human? My dear girl, I am far from human anymore... whether you be demon or angel, you're more monstrous then I, look at your face, you are much worse then me... did you trick any friends you met along the way with this same innocent little girl act... or are they all just as monstrous as you?" He stepped back as he saw the sword catch on fire, watching as she burned the wound close, he shrugged, another cut would open up even more wounds. He chuckled as he licked the blade's edge, tasting the blood, what a waste... but intimidation played a part in battle after all. He watched as she slashed at him, hopped over the blade, there was no way he could block something that massive, at most he could parry it. He looked and timed it just right, leaping to the side and pushing off the wall, soaring over the blade, he quickly back stepped and tumbled backwards to avoid the slash at his mid-section. As he stood he saw the next slash already coming as she spun, he sheathed Sangue Lupo as he ran towards her, ducking low and rolling to the side to dodge the massive blade soaring over him, hopping back up, grabbing his blade's hilt, he let out a shout, completing his draw slash with Sangue Lupo, trying to hack off one of her arms. |

The construct merely glared at the man as he licked the edge of the katana, lapping up her blood like some demonic feline. Still, his odd behavior did not diminish his skill in the least. Zenjirou managed to completely dodge the first two strikes, although he did fall to the ground after the second attack. She angled her next strike accordingly, but he still managed to dodge under the blade, springing forward at the girl with his katana sheathed. She immediately knew that Laevateinn was too heavy to draw back in time to block his attack... So she simply let go. The massive greatsword spiraled through the air, slamming into an adjacent wall. The flame guttered out swiftly, but not before a few of the embers managed to leap to the plaster wall. A fire began to start in the building, eagerly leaping up the side of the building to lick at the roof. Rin did not seem concerned with the collateral damage, simply keeping her attention focused on the wetboy. In the greatsword's place she summoned a weapon she had never actually conjured before, but one that the Grimoire had guaranteed her possessed great power. "Poseidon's Trident." The air around her hands blurred before a majestic trident came into being. The entire length of the weapon had been crafted out of hardened gold, the shaft carved with the shapes of creatures of the sea. The butt of the polearm ended in a sharp point, while each of the three blades had a sharp, pointed blade. Rin spun the trident, managing to catch the black blade of the katana between two of the prongs before it could pierce her flesh. The sheer ferocity of his attack drove her backwards, her heels scraped raw against the cobbles as she was forced backwards. "Not yet." The girl's eyes blazed with an intense ferocity. At the juncture of the trident's three prongs was a small white pearl. That gem began to glow as she pulled on the powers of hydrokinesis stored within the polearm. The list mist falling around them froze in mid-air, the droplets of water heeding the girls call. She pushed down on the trident with all of her strength in an attempt to trap the katana against the ground and tear it from the assassin's hands. At the same time she summoned the water towards them, the droplets of water streaming together into a beam of water that she aimed towards Zenjirou's cruel features. If it struck him unawares the water would hopefully disorient the man. |

He laughed as she tried to pin his weapon, he simply let it go, using the moment to step in and deliver a straight punch towards her face, hoping to smash her cute little face in with his nasty spiked gauntlets. He staggered back and wiped the water out of his eyes, she had far to many enchanted weapons for his liking. He quickly took out his blade, Nameless, another black katana, but this one had orange veins pulsing through out it, winding around and spreading through the blade, nothing fit the blade as a name, so it was simply Nameless, fitting for a katana meant to kill undead, beings he was loath to fight, undead did not cry out or bleed as much as leaving beings, not to mention undead cut in on his murdering time, they took lives that he was supposed to, all life was meant for him, and him alone, to snuff out. He brought his blade to bear, waiting for her to charge in, rushing a spear was just stupid, he needed her to strike first, then he could parry and charge into her, slashing her to ribbons if he could. He took a few steps back, yes, even minor things like that will let someone know you're scared of moving forward... but this was his territory mind games in the middle of combat... he would get inside her head and lead her on a merry dance... a dance that would end with one or both of them dead. |
