There were a few rumours going around on the black market that included the selling of a tonne's worth of alchemy bombs. It was hard to keep such a sale a secret, especially when the people that sold the bombs weren't even paid for it. Of course they never spoke up about it, the Guards would interrogate them too much and they would get in trouble for even making that much. And maybe the fear of death kept them from moving against the person that refused to pay, as she threatened them and plain out killed one of their partners before them to show that she was being serious. Evals had set up Alchemical Charges in the business district of Cascadia. Her plan was to use them to blow up a few buildings and in the mass chaos that came afterwards enter and take everything she could from the local vault. Everything was under control so far, Undead planting the charges in old crates and such all over the designated area. A few near the vault so that a hole would be blown in the wall but the majority would be exploding at a safe enough distance. Evals stood now, in the streets during the middle of the day. She was speaking with someone that soon went off on their own into an alleyway. She would be setting off a few explosions soon, if nobody would mind of course. Of course nobody would, everyone in the area will be dead. Of course Evals will have that all fixed in the end, Undeath wasn't that bad either. |

Vyse was once again dealing with the mass of papers from his new job as head merchant of his company, his four arms becoming blurs as he stacks papers, signs them, and puts them into different piles, work so much easier since he got his new arms. He heard something move, his hands immediately grabbed the four swords sheathed next to him, weaving the blades around him as he stood up, getting into a defensive posture, which he soon relaxed as he saw the small rat-like man. Ratterung bowed his head, "Bad news Vyse, I, we, us, found out some bad news... very bad news, this time no payment needed, Umbriel is in the back, grab her, go into the alley next to your shop, find the bombs, go!" Ratt quickly leaps back into the shadows of Vyse's desk, disappearing from sight. Vyse's eyes widened, bombs!? Who would put bombs in Cascadia? Didn't matter, he needed to stop them, he whistled for Umbriel as he sheathed his swords, strapping two to his belt and two on his back. Umbriel walked out of the back room, fully armored, Vyse smirked, grabbing his helmet from the wall, putting it on his head as he kicks open his front door, tucking his arms into the padded pocket of his vest. He let Umbriel get out before leaping onto her back, urging her into the nearby alley. He walked only for a few feet before seeing some undead creation putting something in one of his crates... that must be the bomb, looks like Ratt really knew everything that was going on in Cascadia, he was right to tell Vyse about it. Vyse drew his holy longsword and lightning cutlass, speaking their enchantments as Umbriel got close, "Blitz, Sopheur." His blades now sparking with their enchantments he hacks down the undead being from behind, he quickly dismounts and looks inside the crate, gingerly taking it out, this must be the bomb. He quickly mounted Umbriel again, riding into the streets, they were faster then any human or animal, they knew exactly how to move and where to go, they easily made it to a guard, he showed him the bomb, explaining the situation quickly. He nodded and made to evacuate the people, taking out a firework and shooting it off into the air, a red light filling the sky, calling for an evacuation from the area, most of the people immediately turned to leave, Vyse sighed, at the very least the casualties would be minimum if they went out before he could stop them all. He sheathed his blades and inspected the bomb, it wasn't all that complex, though it was still beyond him, the best he could do was throw it off the side of Cascadia... or better. He motioned for the guard to come back over, "Get a skyrig over here as fast as possible to, we can put them in the empty cart and have it float into the sky, hurry now, we don't have much time left!" He placed the bomb in his side satchel on Umbriel's armor, moving fast as the wind as he made for the alleys, searching for the next bomb. |

A red flare went off in the sky. That couldn't be good but she wasn't positive as to what it was for. A lot of people started to move out of the area. Evacuation? Evals just stood in the middle of the street as a crowd hastily moved past her. Through the crowd a cloaked person moved up to the zombie and whispered into her ear. "Damnation. We'll just set it off now then. Get the Dark Scouts out of the area." She responded and the person moved away from her. She pulled something out of her pocket and examined it. Evals moved out of the crowd and leaned against the wall of a building in an alley as she continued to examine the device in her hand. It was a magical device that she was told would set off all of the explosions remotely. If they were discovered then she wasn't sure how many of them had been disabled. Luckily hundreds of the explosive chemicals were planted all over the area. Just how to use it... oh that looked like it. She twisted a piece of metal on it and the top of it opened up a bit. From inside it shot out magical energy that looked like hundreds of small wisps. They circled around in the air before they started racing down the streets and over the buildings. Within moments an explosion that was planted nearby went off, sending fire into the sky and making half of the street a dead zone. So this is what alchemical charges could do. More explosions would be going off within seconds, it would seem. Evals moved to where she was going to be needed. |

Vyse had gathered quite a few bombs, he had them all packed up into Umbriel's satchel, he saw something in the distance... smoke? His eyes widened, the bombs were going off. He grabbed his satchel and ripped it off the saddle built into Umbriel's armor, spinning it around his head as he chanted, "Dragons give me the strength to crush mountains to dust, the strength to turn raging rapids into a still stream, Draconic Might!" He saw white wisps heading for him, could those be for the bombs, magical triggers? He panicked, using his new draconic might to throw the satchel high into the sky, soaring above the buildings. He watched as the wisps flew up, detonating the bombs high in the sky. He heard cries of pain as he rushed out from the alleys into the streets, the carnage was everywhere, destroyed buildings and dead littering the street. He had saved so few... he saw the skyrig a bit off with a dozen wisps heading for it. His eyes flashed in panic, it was surrounded by guards and people who had helped out. He urged Umbriel to run there, his mount was only slightly faster then the wisps, he needed to buy a few more seconds of time, "Start the enchantment!" His bellow reached the guards who looked his way, seeing the wisps flying behind Vyse, they quickly spoke the enchantment, having it start floating upward. It was no more then Vyse's shoulder height when he arrived there, it was rising to slowly. He quickly revealed his two extra arms, getting under the rig he pushed it up, exerting his arms, still empowered by his draconic might, sending it skyward, "Duck and cover!" He dove himself, keeping his hands covering his neck and head. The explosion wasn't high enough, shrapnel rained down and injured a few of the guards and one or two commoners that were helping out, Vyse stood up quickly, issuing orders, "Get the injured to the healing houses! I saved those firsts along with some of the more populated areas. The deaths will still be many though, be on the look out for who ever did this, I'm going to look for them, also, get the healers and clerics from the healing houses to help out, two guards run back to one of the guard posts, send out the signal for a gathering, we need all the help we can get in here... move people!" He mounted Umbriel, riding off down the street, the guards would help the injured, he needed to find the one who did this, they'd be around somewhere admiring their work. He frowned as his four arms grabbed at the blades on his waist and back, drawing them, he would kill the person who did this. The guards themselves got up, following Vyse's orders, they weren't going to disobey the man that had helped them so far, they quickly got about their business, helping those they could as two guards ran off towards the guard posts. |

Fires were everywhere. Smoke clouded most of the streets and some parts of the district were littered with bodies. This honestly looked horrifying, yet Evals simply shrugged it off. Dead bodies didn't bother her, she was one. Yet she couldn't help but imagine if this is what Taras looked like when it was attacked. She tried to imagine it, people running from demons as they slaughtered everyone and destroyed everything. She wasn't sure if she was fortunate she wasn't there or unfortunate because she wasn't there to help. The zombie girl ran through the streets until she got to the place she wanted to people. A building that seemed untouched. The street next to it had a huge hole blown into it. By the time she got there, Undead beings of the Shadow Society were hauling out the treasure beneath the building. Nobody was around, this was going perfectly. Looking around, she was mistaken. There was someone, a women who was on fire, had her arm blown off was running down the street. She dropped dead only moments later. From the dead women a small bundle of cloth rolled out from her arms and next to Evals. What was this, a cliched moment where the mother was trying to save her child and then the culprit comes into contact with said child? She opened the cloth, nope. It was just a bunch of stuff, pictures? Yes, framed portraits of what looked like family. Evals shrugged and wrapped it back up, she tossed the cloth into a nearby fire. Turning back to the operation at hand, the Undead were loading cases of gold into wagons. |

Vyse rushed through the streets, Umbriel wasn't even breathing hard, her armor hardly even slowed her movement, he had it designed to keep her full mobility while keeping her back and front armored, he would defend the sides with his blades. He looked around frantically, looking for anything that might lead to the culprit... then he saw it, undead loading up gold and treasure, it was all for a robbery attempt!? His rage grew inside him, he could taste his bile in his mouth, he could feel hatred for the beings and whoever controlled them. He roared in his fury as he urged Umbriel forward, streaking across the street and colliding with the first undead he could, Umbriel tearing it apart as he used his own blades to cleave a foe in twain. His blades Niteo, Blitz, Sopheur, and his Sarilyn blade that he hadn't named yet. He felt Niteo's natural effects take place, blessing him with holy might, the blade also had a secondary effect, any evil that looks at it has conflicting thoughts, sometimes even going to turn from evil to good for as long as the blade is bared and within sight. The cutlass, Blitz sparking with electricity as the longsword glows with holy power and seems to have an ethereal quality as it fades and waves in the light, almost shimmering. As his cutlass sinks into the zombie flesh it lets out a thunderous roar, to most it would be deafening, though to him it wasn't effective, and Umbriel didn't need to hear him to know what to do, they knew each other through movements and instinct. He dismounted swiftly, grabbing the cart and upending it, using his extra arms to give him better purchase as he forces it on it's side. There would be hell to pay for this evil deed. Umbriel and Vyse breathed in unison, grabbing her side he quickly swings back onto her back, using their superior movements let him easily out maneuver any zombie. |

What? Evals saw it happen right before her very eyes. Someone had just came out of almost nowhere and killed one of the Undead, or just severely wounding it. She wasn't sure. Whoever it was, was coming! She turned to look at the wagon, he was moving towards that. With a rush of magic, she blinked out of existence and reappeared in front of the wagon, she spoke to the giant spider in front of the wagon and it took off down the road. She disappeared again and reappeared on the top of the building that hosted the vault. She glanced at the event going on. "Retreat! Don't waste your life for this!" She ordered to them and many Undead started to run at the command. They weren't mindless Undead, but still lesser. Mindless undead would be too clumsy for this delicate operation. "You, I request that you leave my men alone, they're only following orders!" She bellowed out to the four-armed man. She wanted to save them, their lives weren't worth this at all. Having them stay and just die again would be fruitless. Lose people in exchange for a few gold pieces!? Foolish. |

He saw one retreating, he simply cut it down, his holy longsword burning through it, "You murderer! Heartless beast! If you don't want your undead being put back into the grave then I suggest you get down here yourself and fight me! Or else I'll hunt down every last undead that you sent away and slaughter them!" His anger was at an all new high, Umbriel was growling and roaring as her claws finished off the undead Vyse had only wounded with his cutlass. He felt his rage boiling over, he just wanted to kill her and end all of the undead. He roared at the top of his lungs, the murderer was right there, he needed to kill or knock her out, "I demand you get down here, or should I send my tigress to kill the spiderling while I hunt down the undead?" He growled, he wanted to tear into the girl, ripping her to shreds with his blades and Umbriel's claws, he pointed Niteo at her, "Surrender!" He glared at her, her next action would either save or condemn her. |

Evals took glances in her peripheral as the Undead escaped. "Very well." She said, she couldn't let him kill off all of the lesser Undead, they didn't deserve death. If anyone did, she did. Yet she would survive, going back to death wasn't an option for her. So instead she would either buy enough time or slay this... mutant. She held up a finger to indicate one moment and took out a red stone. She spoke into it. "Send my pets towards the vault area." There was a reply and she pocketed it. As well as taking two small things and keeping them in one of her hands. She drew Garaz and jumped off the roof and landed on the street. She stood on the opposite side of the hole in the ground than the mutant. "I hope you don't mind dying, Mutant." She spoke and held her sword ready. His mount could be a problem, she would stay and protect her soldiers though. She was filled with hope for victory, thanks to the weapon she obtained from Seth. Something else was making her desire to protect or do something good as well, but she paid no mind to it. She was ready for him. |

He raised an eyebrow, mutant, he just had a tattoo that created these arms, it was a magical augmentation, not some natural mutation, he should correct the her, though he had better things to do with his time. He reached into one of the saddle bags tied to the armor's saddle, taking out his helmet, it was a fine copper creation, it kept his air supply constant, making airborne toxins useless against him. When she dropped to the ground he dismounted Umbriel, "Since you called off your minions I'll hold back Umbriel, though if one of your undead beings or one of your minions interrupts us I will use Umbriel and my full ability. Though if any of them attack Umbriel or if you attack Umbriel, I will kill every undead in Cascadia, I of course, will call in some very overzealous paladins." It wasn't an empty threat, he'd gone head to head and worked with a few paladins, even knew where to find them in Cascadia, in fact the explosion would attract soldiers, paladins, and clerics of all kinds, she didn't have much time until the undead were found and killed. He readied his blades, the enchantments sparking on his cutlass and longsword, lightning coursing through the cutlass as the longsword glows and shimmers with power. Fire enveloped Niteo as the Sarilyn blade gave off no obvious aura besides the same shimmering as the longsword, though it could hurt ghosts like the longsword it was also enchanted to make wounds bleed faster, he had learned the need for deeper wounds on his opponents, now nicks will have a much more drastic effect. He smirked as he raised his blades, quickly dashing at her, slashing at her left hip with the cutlass, stabbing at her legs with the longsword, a diagonal slash from her right shoulder to her left hip, using the sarylin blade, and a thrust at her heart with Niteo. He smirked, he had practiced for weeks with his arms, he had gotten used to fighting like this rather quickly, and with his draconic strength his offensive style was all the more effective from it. |

Evals face was deadpan serious. She stood in stance with her Rapier waiting for this mutant to attack her. Yet he went on this little speech first, or at least speaking directly to her. They are non-combatants. Of course I called them off. Of course I can't say the same about those." She said and waved her hand holding the two objects around to alleys and the crater in the ground. Even in places she hasn't been pointing out, masses upon masses of spiders that were swarming there. "Please don't mind them though, I doubt they will attack unless I am in serious danger or I tell them to." She didn't have any intentions upon using the spiders anyway, not unless they were absolutely needed. As she pulled her hand back into stance, she dropped the two smell objects in front of her feet. Now he was coming. She was whispering herself for a little bit before stopping. Every couple of feet he advanced she took a step back. No way out running him, but giving herself reaction distance. Then once he got close enough she vanished into thin air. Small trails of magic were left hanging in the air before it faded away. Evals reappeared about two metres behind him. She twirled around to face him on the front of her foot. From where Evals was standing, one of the objects was growing rapidly into a huge frame. A Golem was forming there. "You have your insurance, I have mine." She said, the Golem wasn't doing anything besides watching them and waiting for orders. It was standing over the other pieces, which when inspected turned out to be a small chess piece of a black knight. Of course Evals was starting to think that he had four arms was a bit unfair. She was suppose to be the one with an unfair advantage. Taking a jump back just to give herself more distance if he attacked while something started to form on the side of her body. Four arms came out of her sides, making holes in her shirt. She was an Arachnomancer, afterall. Having six arms she still stood on the defensive. She only had to wait long enough for a signal from a Dark Scout. |

He saw her blink away, blast, she was a mage. He turned around at the sound of her voice, he raised an eyebrow, as his eyes widened, spiders everywhere along with that golem, this was not going his way, though when did it ever. He watched as she grew more arms... he wasn't impressed, unless she had some great unarmed skill or had the same draconic might as he did, those arms were just targets. He charged her, unafraid of her new appendages, "Unless you know how to fight with those arms... it was completely pointless to bring them out!" He was already thinking of the possible abilities she could have, she was a mage, that was bad enough, he needed to stick to her, keep right in her face and attack, attack, and attack some more. He kept his eyes on the spiders, if they attacked he would have to get back on Umbriel, his tigress companion seemed to have thought the same, she kept walking around the area, keeping her claws and fangs at the ready, she kept an eye on the foes, she was ready to run in to her master at any moment. Vyse smiled, what a good kitty, with this he would have no worries, it was time to start the fight. |

Here he comes. Evals was growing tired of this. She started to cast one of her more powerful spells. All while defending against his attacks and moving back so she wouldn't be overtaken by him, if barely. A strike came, she parried it and slid further away. Blocking his attacks outright would be insane. She learned this the hard way when one of her original two hands went to block one of the blades with her palm. Of course her gauntlets could be able to stop it. Yet as a result the bones in her arm broke. Two hands were making motions for the spell. Only seconds to go. The entire time though, Evals had activated Durak to defend her. Not being intimidated by the great strength behind the blades, the shield blocked as many attacks as it could. Despite all this, Evals had one of her arms cut off. Not that she was really using that one, targets as they were they were just space fillers. Now though, magic was being done. "Za warudo!" She yelled as time instantly stopped moving around her. One of the blades from her enemy had started to cut into one of her legs. Moving now closer to him. She had a limited time to work here. Killing him wouldn't be punishment enough. She reached out and touched each of his arms quickly, though mostly individually. She cast the same spell on each of them quickly. Time outside of time was growing short. She picked up her arm that had been cut off and moved behind him now, by a meter or so. She held her severed limb against the stump of an arm and waited for healing magic to take effect. Once this man moved his arms even the slightest, the bones would break on him. And time resumes. OOC: Since I'm only half paying attention to what I'm writing, eating, and somewhat moving stuff around for friends that are coming over, I feel like this post might be a little ridiculous... if you have problems with it I can edit and/or just rewrite the entire thing. Sorry. @.@ |

He smiled, he had damaged her quite a bit, her arms were injured. He felt the his powerful strikes cutting off one of her arms, he smirked, good, keep up the momentum, press harder, keep her guessing. He switched his tactics, sweeping at her leg, he saw it cut into her leg... then nothing, she wasn't there anymore. He paused as his helmet glowed, striking his original arms, and the arm holding Niteo with white light, while the arm holding the Sarilyn blade falls. Immense pain overcame his senses, he howled in pain, it was broken, his arm was broken, he could feel the pain through out his entire body, what did she do?! He dropped all of his blades, screaming in pain for only a moment... his eyes gaining a crimson tinge to them as he picked up his blades once again, sheathing the Sarilyn blade as his three working arms picked up his fallen blades. He turned to her, his eyes glowing brightly, his mind screamed with pain and revenge, calling for her death, her death would ease everything. Kill Kill Kill, it was all his mind could think as he started his charge. His blades started to rain down, thrusting low with Niteo as his cutlass and longsword started to move slightly in the air, just millimeters at a time, making a passive defense useless against them, a good swordsman would be able to notice it, though if the man only dabbled in sword play they stood no chance against his lightning strikes, he knew she would be able to tell where they were targeting and where he would chance his mark, she was good, the fact was that he just needed to fight harder, and harder. He kept his attack pattern up, striking high with his cutlass and longsword as Niteo struck low at her legs, he would keep on attacking until he couldn't fight anymore. |

Spell defense. Lovely. Just... lovely. Only one of his arms was broken, that wasn't good enough, he'd probably still be a threat with just two arms in close quarters combat. Now he was coming again. Pulling another stunt like she just did was out of the question. Now he was coming at her again. Evals's arm was still reattaching itself while the other one was in the process of being mended. Had she bought enough time yet? No, this person was going to be a threat to any Undead from here on out. The ones in the city should be safe, the Dark Scouts should be able to get them away without further harm. The zombie watched with dreadful eyes as he came closer, something was different about him. He was even angrier. This day was just turning out great. "Flight." She spoke to herself. With a quick leap she used her boots to gain access to the air. She was flying out of reach, well out of reach too. "I'm sorry." She said and held up a small bag that was attached to her belt. "I just seem to have a small edge over you." With that, Evals turned the bag over to drop it's contents onto the Mutant. Explosive Pebbles in this mass should be able to do quite a bit of damage to someone. |
