Chaos hated this time of year, all the happiness and cheer, everyone being nice and kind to each other, it made him sick. He was tired of seeing all the bright and colorful decorations, everyones home dressed all up for the season. He was sick of the constant giving and sharing, loving and caring, it was disgusting! Why was he even still here in cascadia, after doing his job of dropping off a body he was to leave, get out of the floating city as soon as he could. But with all the crowds and commotion he found it easier to just stay here and lay low for a little while. Apparently while he was sitting in one of the local bars a group of thunder birds were disturbed, which in turn sent them flying through the city causing an uproar. This was going on all after noon with many different things happining. Many were trying to fight off or capture the beast, failing in their attempts. Others took advantage of this confusion and started to rob and steal from people. It was funny to the demon as he sat in one of the corners and watched the chaos. Lighting was bouncing off everything, destroying much of the street and local buildings. People ran and took cover, while the few fools tried to fight them off, it was insane out there. Chaos was just going to sit back and enjoy the scene, until a devious little plan entered his mind. While watching the destruction those birds caused he could not help but wonder what he could do with such a bird. Ideas among ideas floated through his head as a finale idea came into mind. He was going to catch one of those damn birds. So he stood, and walked out of the door. Now Chaos was a big fella, clad in his metal demon armor and his giant blade slung across his back. He was not a gentle man, so he burst out the door, loud and roudy, almost slamming into a man standing in front of the shop. |

The festival of the clouds huh... Hel leaned back and looked at the clouds. A whole festival for visible mass of water drops and ice crystals just seemed unreal. She did not understand the importance of such a celebration but it was nice to see smile on every face and bright decorations both on ground and in the sky. How the hell are they decorating the clouds? Hel the only human death was sitting on a bench with one loaf of bread and butter by her side; it was the result of her labor. Unlike most other deaths and magical figures Hel was not immortal. She was only partly immortal since that applied as long as she remained within Death‘s dimension which she did rarely these days. Because of this Hel needed to eat and therefore she needed currency or gold to buy the food with, after all there was no one paying for her work as death so she had to throw in a few odd jobs, prophecies or part time jobs in order to make ends meet and survive in the world. But that’s when things got hectic or chaotic if you prefer. Some kind of birds went flying through the street, smashing things with lightning. Hel did not see the point of origin but that did not really matter, from there a lot of things unfolded. People started to behave like people do; some used this as a chance, others escaped on the run. A lot of different people existed together in this world and most of the time the difference was minor, but the difference could clearly be seen when bad things happened in the world. Some people simply had better nature than others while some thought only about themselves. Hel was lost in her thoughts once again and sadly for her this was going to be her downfall or rather the downfall of her lunch. One of the birds had sneaked close to her and with a well aimed peck, snatched the bread from her hand and gulped it down with one quick swallow. Hel looked dumfounded on her hand, and then glanced over at the bird standing with a local bar in his background. Hel could be imaging this but for a moment she thought he could even see the damn bird grin. ”Oh, I was just thinking I needed a replacement for my last horse, you will do nicely. But first payback for my lunch, this means war you thieving bird!” |

Move your ass you filthy scum Mumbled Chao sunder hsi breath as he left the small shop he had just been in. A rather older man was standing out front watching the events taking place, blocking the door that he had tried to leave from. If the demon had given the door a mighty push the old man might have fallen over and hit the ground. But chaos was a little distracted to worry about hurting someone, he was much more intrested in the massive birds of lightning. There were many of them flying around and causing as much destruction as they could, it was actually hard to get a lock on one that was srtaying still, plus with all the confusion and running around the city was in complete chaos. Upone glancing around Chaos saw one of the beast with its back turned. He had just watched the creature snatch food from a woman on a bench and ate it with out hesitation. These birds were not the friendlist of things were they? He took this as a chance to sneak up on the bird and catch it, trying his hardest to detain the beast. But why would a creature of that size and strength allow anyone to just grab a hold of it? Chaos needed to be smart. So with the blink of an eye he was instantly behind the thing. But he was not going to just try a normal grab, no he needed even more strength. Activating his arcane tattoo that allowed him to grow two more arms. With a mighty heave he attempted to wrap all four arms around the beast back side, putting all his strength and might into the grab. Edited by Chaos, Tue Jan 25, 2011 2:08 pm.

What did just happen? Hel‘s mind was in a haze and the reason was quite simple, lightning, lots of lightning and not the good kind of pain, but the bad one. Hel attempted to summon strength into her arms and after two or three failed attempts pushed herself from the mud and onto the legs. She had been laying face flat in the mud after being sent flying by that damn bird, but why did it strike her? Because of what she said? No, that’s not it, ouch. She tried to think through the pain. The voices in her head seemed to be discussing last night’s dinner and that was not making things easier for to gather her thoughts. She glanced around for the bird, the location was completely destroyed by lightning, the bird probably had a reflex reaction to surprise attacks and must have sent lightning in all directions at once when…..that’s it! Someone tried to sneak up on it, ugh if someone sneaks faster than the blink of an eye that is… I wonder what happened to him? Hel finally stood up, looked at the burning bench and too her horror noticed the blackened butter. THAT DAMN BIRD! Edited by Mephz, Thu Jan 27, 2011 10:06 pm.

Chaos was not expecting what happened next, not at all. As his four hefty armored arms wrapped around the mass of lightning, he felt a surge of shock and pain shoot through his skin and body almost as if he had been struck by a bolt of lightning. The bird starting flipping around, shooting of bolts of lightning, destroying much of the area round him. His eyes went black, his head starting ringing and he felt complete pain in every part of his body, this was not the best idea he had had. With a burst of lightning chaos was shot back and sent flying, his large body landing on a wooden bench and smashing it to bits. He laid there, looking around like a dazed child, he needed a better plan. As his secondary arms moved the mass of bench away he stood and tried to recollect himself. Sure that hurt and pissed him off, but he was not out yet, he was going to capture this bird. Suddenly a female on the ground behind the bird caught his attention. He glared at her, trying to make out her details and features. Calling out he wanted to get her attention. Hey you! get up off your ass and help me out here. He called out noticing that much more was going on than he thought. Apparently the whole group of birds were freaking out causing so much destruction to the city. |

Hel‘s legs finally stopped shaking, most of the aftershock of being pounded with lightning had now passed away. Her body was again in full control and she was ready to go on a counter attack. Hel was dressed in her grey shroud and the brown bear coat was keeping her warm under it. This time she did not bring the armor with her. Around the neck was the Armistice and on one of her fingers was a glittering ring. On the waist were two knives and a red closed fan; around them was a tightly bound rope to keep them in place. Before she got down to the business of hunting an oversized bird, a voice called out to her. The speaker was a brute, fearsome looking....human? Having an extra pair of arms kind of stood out. The glare and the order in his voice also felt out of place for a normal human. Many questions burned in Hel‘s mind; Why are you trying to capture the bird? Did the bird destroy your bread and butter to? Why do you have two arms? Who are you? Why are you ordering me around? To name a few, and excluding all the thoughts the voices in her head had. But this was not the time for questions. ”That’s fine and all, but the bird is getting away” said Hel as she watched the bird take flight in an attempt to retreat. Hel quickly focused again towards what mattered, the revenge for her bread and butter was on the line after all. "Bright lady, whose name I speak; I call you down, it's you I seek. Fire I command you" A glowing fireball formed between her fingers on her right hand, this time she did not hold it at all, with the final line of the verse she sent the fireball flying towards the back of the fleeing bird "Fire ball!" Chaos, final collected from the bench, watched as the bird he was after took flight into the air. It seemed it had enough of this location and was off to cause destruction to a different part of town. But the demon had other thoughts for the beast, he wanted it for himself as a prize, and was nto going to let it escape, so as it soared up at a steady rate chaos began his next move. With a push of pressure and strength two massive flaming wings sprouted from his back, the light of the flames glinting off his demon armor and casting a evil glow around his body. He glared as he began hsi attack. The woman he had yelled at was quick to help, forming a fire ball in her hand. After the strange chant she created the fire, and launced it directly at the rear fo the bird. This was good, he could use it to aid him in the capture of the bird. As the ball of pyro neared its mark the bird caught glimpse of it, turning its body in mid flight to try and stop it. Apparently the bird thought it was a solid object for it tried to beat its wings and blow it away. The ball of fire dimmed a little but was big enough to continue on its path. As the bird realized it could not stop the ball, it started to blast bolts of lightning everywhere, cracking the concrete below them and sending more people off scared. This was the perfect moment to strike. As the massive red demon soared through the air, his wings of fire beating behind him, he came up on the back of the static beast. It was a real task to dodge and weave through all the dancing rays of lightning, but he was determined and sure of himself this time. He knew better than to wrap around it again, that was just dumb, but his four arms would still come in handy. With out a moments notice his main two arms grabbed the bird by the neck, whie his other two grabed under its wings at the bone. With a mighty tug he flipped back wards, throwing the bird over himself. With a blink he appread above the bird and sent all four fist flying at its mid driff, to stun it and maybe knock it out. |

(ooc: editted by earlier post slightly, I got your apperance wrong. Fixed it from frail boy appearance to big brute appearance etc. Feel free to inform me when you see mistakes like this, I‘ll try to keep them at minimum though) First an extra pair of hands then red flaming wings? Imythess seems to have very colorful individuals within its border. It was starting to down on her that this person was probably not a normal human, possibly one of those demons she had heard much about. Hel did not have much contact with them herself yet, demons after all often possessed a larger lifetime than most other humanoid creatures so a call for the need of a Death was very rare among those of demon blood. It wasn’t really easily killable bunch either but Hel did not dislike them, at least they died on right time rather than the blasted undead that went on living way longer than they should. At this moment he did not look at all human, too red to be human, too many hands, oh and he had wings. Hel watched in thought as the red skinned brute landed on top of the bird, grabbed its neck with two arms while the other hands interrupted the flight of the bird. Then with one tug that reminded Hel on a wrestling move, flipped it and then attacked with all arms. The bird let out a scream, high pitched and full of rage and fear in equal dozes. The bird then came crashing down and it the ground with a smashing sound. It seemed to be alive as it was still moving but this had clearly done some damage. At this moment that wasn’t really vital information, after all a ring of angry birds capable to creating lightning had formed around the pair of hunters. The scream had gathered a flock of them and they meant business. |

(ooc-haha it ok, i meant to say something but frogot, thanks for editing though.) The bird tumbled to the ground, spinning and flopping around like a crazy beast, sparks and bolts of lightning shooting from its sprawling body. Chaos watched with joy as the beast hit the concrete ground with a thud, causing obvious pain to it body. But it as still alive, for he could see the breathing of the bird and the twitching of its aching body. He had acomplished the attack and began to make his way back to the ground when something unexpected happened. A large ring of other thunder birds started to form around them, shooting of ligtning which struck trees, buildings and even random unlucky people. Chaos was in the center of it, with the other lady who helped to distract the beast. things had just got more complicated. He needed a way out, a chance to get free but also he did not want to forget his prize. Looking down he used his two arms to pull out his magic reflective shield from his bag of wonders. Tossing it down to Hel. Stand over the bird, duck down and cover yourselves with this shield, it reflect magic and boy are things about to get hot!He hoped she had grabbed it and covered themselves for he was about to begin. Fire formed in his palms, spinning in a rotating motion, getting bigger every second. His flaming wings kept him in mid air, level with the flock of destructive birds, now taking notice of the demon beast and his flaming hands. Rotating his body chaos began to spin in the air, leaving a flame trail around him, which started to form a cylinder funnel around his body. Then with no moment of pause or relaxtion he stopped and sent a mighty pulse of fire forth from his body. With all four flaming palm out he spun again, much faster now activating his spells that sped up his body. A massive tornado of fire smashed down on the are, sweeping up the thunder birds and burning their feathers. If they did not run they would be burned to death, hopefully Hel and the bird they captured rested safely under the magic shield. |

Hel stood over the unlucky bird of lightning. It was twitching in pain, crying for assistance from other thunder birds and oblivious to the fact that few of his kindred had already arrived to his rescue. It was badly injured and way more so than Hel had even thought about doing to it. Yes she had thought about taking it down simply to stop it from causing more harm to the city, its people and while she did she could as well get a slight revenge for her lost snack, but this was way too much already. Hel was again addressed by the red figure, whatever he was. With more of an order than anything else, he told her what to do and why, all in a quick short sentence as he threw a magical cloak at her. After that the brute did not really give Hel much time to think about it or answer it, flames ignited in his hands as Hel rushed to spread it over herself and the bird along with her. Hel did not see outside of the cloak but she could feel the heat from the magical flame outside, this person was clearly not thinking about saving the city as he fought the thunder birds, that’s for sure. Casting such a large scale fire spells within the city was quite the madness. Hel also wondered why he asked her to spread the magical cloak over the bird; after all he had pretty much beaten it halfway to the world of the dead up till now. Was there a price on these birds? She did not think he had good intentions at any rate. Hel then decided that she was not going to let him have it. She increased her strength through the means of magic, gave the bird a knockout punch and grabbed a hold of the injured bird. ”Consider that a revenge for my bread” Hel then waited until the flames died down; when they did she threw the cloak up and used her own shroud to create a large cloud of smoke over the area. It appeared with a loud bang and engulfed her path of escape. She ran as she held the out cold bird close to her chest, making sure to keep its claws locked with her fists in case it woke up. She ran, slipped into a side street between houses, and then she made her magical cloak activate its second power, her appearance changed into that of a large brute. The brute had large and broad enough back to cover the bird from any sighting from behind. After all, that red brute would be quick to spot her in a crowd if he could easily see the bird. With that done she continued to run. |

Chaos was enjoying himself, spinning in mid air as the flames incircled his body, creating a devistating flame attack onthe birds. They squaked and yelled, many of them flying off a a few unlucky ones cauht fire, fainted and fell to the stone path. They littered the ground beneath him, about four or five unconcious thuinder birds laying there burnt and in pain. He was excited to see the attack work and how he was able to best these birds. As the fire and smoke cleared he drifted down back to the road, smiling at his roasted batch of bird. But as he turned to find the female and see if they were ok, he got real angery. A puff of smoke was where the two should be, with his elfective sheild laying on the ground and the two not there. That damn woman had made off with his bird, after he had saved her from it and beat the crap out of it, she was going to just up and leave like that. He could have killed her in the blast, just saved the bird and roasted her like the scum she was. He was very angery to see that this woman was going to betray him like that.None the less he was going to get a bird and a snack today. After bagging up one of the many burnt birds he slung it over his shoulder and made his way into one of the closest ally ways. Chaos would find her today. |

That was a bird off Hel‘s shoulders. After running through street after street she had finally found a healer willing to heal the bird. It had not been easy since they were the root to the chaos that had sparked up and ruined part of the celebration but she finally found one willing to treat it even so. It did not help that Hel was currently looking like a brute, Hel was sure that the people around her where putting her down as a person that put people down simply due to her current appearance and therefore stayed out of reach if at all possible. Hel however knew better than to give up on the disguise yet, she after all had no idea what had happened to the red person. It was safer to avoid being Hel for the moment, at least until she knew his current temper, plans and whereabouts.

The day had started well, then with the sudden attack of thunder birds he felt as if hsi luck got better. a rapid attack on the beast ended up in a well capture of one of them and the besting of a whole bunch more. But the lady he was working with had betrayed him and took off with the bird he had worked so hard to capture. All that work and fighting he had done, all the girl did was watch like a small coward. And even now, when he had protected her and beat up the birds she had taken off with his prize. So now he was pissed off, and running from ally to ally trying to find the woman. Many ally ways had been searched over until he finale found a street, not a main one but a side street that had intresting people. He first noticed the woman with his bird, and then a healer wokring on the bird, fixing the wounds he had inflicted. With a nasty snarl he went running at them, ready to take on them for his prize. |

“oh Hel you stupid you“ Hel felt stupid, once again she had focused too much on the job at hand leaving the bigger picture blending into the background. Just saving one bird was not enough; she had forgotten the group of birds that he took down while Hel was covering under the blanket. If he was not going after that exact bird then he might simply have taken the others. Hel the brute finally reached the location where the red dude had cast the fire spell, she had no idea how many thunderbirds they had been, so she had no way of knowing if one or two them were missing, but the majority was there, that’s for sure. With a poof Hel the woman appeared, the magical ability of the cloak seemed to have burned out for now. That fact did however not change the job at hand, she moved between knocked out or dead birds feeling their pulse and the few that still had breathe in their lungs were taken one after another to nearby healers willing to help. If Hel was lucky one of them might even be willing to carry her away from this rock when it recovered, but for now Hel was stuck here waiting for a replacement for her horse and hoping never again to meet that red thing, no matter what it was.
